  • Do you want to save money by moving your landline to a VoIP service? I did so I recorded the entire process for you.
Our referral code gets us both us a $10 credit... so use it: voip.ms/en/invite/MzU4MjYw
We selected VOiP.MS as our VOiP provider because they are large and have a good reputation. We then used Zoiper as a softphone to connect to VOip.ms. Then we went on to setup VOiP.ms voicemail.
We also explain the cost of moving from a home phone landline to Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and all the steps you need to understand to save money and keep the transition easy.
Our goal was to stop paying for our home phone landlines but keep the numbers as we don't use them frequently.

    Thank you for the video.
Have you played with the Digital Receptionist? Can we use that to try to block spam calls? Like by asking it to press random number between 0~9 to connect? If wrong or no response it would hang up? or something like that.
Also, would be great if you could make a update video in 6 months or a year time for a long term use review. Thanks.

Hi Mike - I have not tried the detailed features yet. In my case I just wanted to keep my numbers and have them go to a voicemail for as close to zero dollars and zero effort as I could. If you find out something useful, please let us know about it... super interested to hear of your experience.

All those #s start with 10 so 0 would be 100 and 101 be one and so on in schema just a small tidbit. The wiki was extremely helpful do to this

That referral for $10 credit is a waste of time in 2024, you don't get any $10 credit, booooo.

I just signed up and got the $10 credit after I paid the $15 initial charge.

@@bobsannes9372 I paid $50 for my initial charge, but I got not $10 credit, you want to make a YT video and prove your claim? Easy to claim something, proof is something else, I regularly make videos, I'll make one about this topic here, maybe I'll make more than the $10 I got shafted for, and I'll be showing what I was talking about in my first comment that I didn't get any $10 credit to not be surprised if they do not get it, and of course I'll show my account invoice section to prove my claim.
Kinda hard to believe anything people say online without proof, it's super easy to say anything behind anonymity especially and I doubt you will ever make any video proving your claim, if you do be sure to let me know I was wrong, otherwise I'll continue believing what happened to me personally over what you claim and will start believing everything I read on a public restroom wall while I'm at it. LOL.
