You captured the sound of the engine really well. Felt I was riding in the car with you. I think it has its own unique sound. Takes you back to the era of the 60s. Great car.
Very glad that I came across your Channel. I'm always had an interest in owning a C2 Corvette. Longtime air-cooled Porsche guy, but watching your videos provides a real-life driving experience. Thank you.
Thanks for the ride.....really enjoyed it...!!!! I love driving my son’s 2003 accord (v6 manual transmission with 240 hp)..... can’t imagine how it feels driving that “Beast”...!!!!!
thanks! I've admired these for so long, but never knew if I'd really like owning one. (Other vettes I've driven have been disappointing). you made some pretty good comments...
That car was actually 450hp and did the 1/4 mile in the high 12's on bias ply tires in 66, no Mustang (Then)is touching that, I believe it was the quickest production car up to that time including the street Hemi.
Hey Ross, nice ride. When you were giving that tour of your car you should have mentioned about the radio being mounted vertically in those things although some of us know about it, most of your viewers probably don't know..... just a thought
Another good presentation a bit wordy and Captain obvious, like this is a exhaust pipe. (Daaaaaaa! Suprised you didn't roll the lights on either Vette. But good job just the same!
How to you shift into 5th gear? Having the under body muffler is far better than the noisy side exhausts. The side exhaust reduce engine output below what the under body muffler system produces.
Nice Vette Ross! That really does sound nice. I have to admit it would be fun to take out on a cruise. I can relate to the manual steering. You get s good feeling of the road. Now.... are those Bias ply tires I'm seeing? I would take them off and get some radials. Chevy is a standard 14x7 rim. You will be surprised how radials feel on it, night and day. I know a little about that Muncie 4 Speed. I to have the M22 Rock Crusher. I believe yours is the M21. I Rebuilt mine a few years back. Simple. One thing that many people miss when rebuilding them is checking the Z bar out. It's the bar off the frame connecting to the clutch push rod. Make sure it's weld where its connected to the frame is good and not cracked.
@@donjoiner1658 Nice Catch I got the numbers reverse. I'll correct it. I have the M22 Rock Crusher. Ross's Vette is a 66, The M22 didn't come out till 67. If here completely stock he's probably got the M21. Some can be ID by the serial # but odds are the input shaft will tell the true story. The M20 and M21 had 10 spline input shafts whereas the M22 had a 26 Spline shaft and was made from a stronger alloy.

Hi Ross, Corvette looks and sounds great! You’ve got some great picture perfect driving scenery there! Have you thought about maybe doing a buyers guide video into buying a first classic car/ mussel car. Looking forward to seeing more!

Hey Ross, what kind of fuel mixture do you put in it? I think only leaded gas was available in the 60s, and now we can only buy unleaded. How do you solve this problem?
Hey Ross, great vid, what clutch isinstalled? I'd really like to see more of the V-wagon on the road... Great run today, was surprised to see you went back in... see you in the morning...
