In this video I’m talking about my experience of waxing my facial hair ( that I have because of PCOS) for 7 years and why I finally stopped doing it. I am being honest and sharing a lot of personal stories and learning’s, so I hope you guys understand the pros and cons of waxing facial hair before opting for it and learn from my mistakes.

Wow your experience is just like mine! I started waxing my face an year ago! 2nd year of engg now I'm in 3rd year! Just like you I went to regular parlour they used normal honey wax on my face! I've sensitive skin too! I get bumps for 4-5 days n sometimes 7 days! Untill it gets better my hair is back! It has become really annoying! I'm so pissed my hair is really thick and it feels like I've beard growing! I've been researching a lot I feel I stopped at right place! Gonna watch your next videos ig

@@shaluthakur8713 till a month ago I was going for threading and waxing in intervals! Since two weeks I've started face shaving! It's not bad ig I've done it twice! The hair grows quickly as for me! And my skin feels much better with texture and all! Hair grows pointy like when it grows while you wax or shave your other body part! I feel its okay to shave! Tho ill get more accurate results after doing it few more times! Rn I didn't get additional hair and all its just the hair that was already there growing back! I was scared before starting it! But then I just went with it!

I have the same prblm I have used epilator which gave me scars and waxing is not the solution laser worked a bit but then afterwards my growth increased and now I am so irritated that I have lost my confidence thanks to covid I can hide my face with mask but afterwards I don't have any solution
I had the same thought about mask . It’s actually very depressing that we are seeing wearing mask as a plus point. Try to work towards controlling your hormones, that might help the hair growth a little bit .

I appreciate you providing your experiences on waxing but for some of us waxing has been a god send. I would not want to give it up. It does me wonders. It's always up to a person to make their own informed decisions.

I do use Rica wax but when the hair starts to grow back the tiny hair bothers a lot

I too am dealing with this problem. But I have checked so many times. It was not PCOD or Thyroid. I had taken some steroids for my asthma which led to this misadventure.

Hi , this is how I remove my facial hair, I don’t claim it to be the best but it works for me and also I’m not getting any ingrown hairs because of the steps I follow .I’m using after shave balm now from let’s shave , prevents rashes.

I use sugar wax.... it's natural....but the 4th day ..it comes back ...what shall I do???????

Mam I have also pcod. I am too worried about my facial hair it looks so bad. I accidently thread my chin area by myself but I regret now because now I get thick hair. I have thick hair all over my face, I feel embarrasment whenever I go out or talk to any one in open area because they stare at my facial hair sometimes they point out my hair. I afraid of waxing or threading my facial hair because of your experience and I can not afford laser treatment.
Now I feel so helpless, I feel low, I cry just because of this stupid facial hair, sometimes I wanted to die. I don't know what to do. Please please please help me if their is any solution .

Hi Bharti , please don’t think too negative. People who have bigger problems in life have fought them to stay happy and I’m doing a review on IPL device. Please watch that and see if you can invest in that, if you feel it’s the best solution for you.
Also show to a doctor and take treatment to balance hormones if you have too much hair growth. Yoga helps with hormone imbalance and also negative thoughts . Try to eat right.

Hey mamta, don’t be too stressed, stress aggravates the problem. A lot of ladies have it, you are not alone. Try to keep your hormone in balance , will make a video on it soon. Until then exercise , try to avoid refined sugar and get proper sleep and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Hey Sabah , laser treatment isn’t a permanent solution for hair growth if you have PCOD , first thing you have to do is naturally keep your androgen levels in check , exercise , eat right and if that helps slow the hair growth then use a tweezer or epilator at home which is a 15-30min job every few days(depending on your hair growth) . I will soon upload a video about products I use.

@@sabahbukhari2196 please don't even use a tweezer or an epilator. My face got ruined by the Epilator n I have a 5'o clock beard shadow being a girl n the tweezer with constant picking has created hyperpigmentation on my skin becoz I would go in tweezing in those areas. The scarred skin is so dark on my chin that it looks like an elbow, it just doesn't fade away. Best is to go in for hard beans waxing. Buy it n use at home with the help of a wax heater. It sticks to only ur hair n helps remove the thickest hair out without any pain. N rest of the facial hair u can use sugaring wax like Sleek hot wax or Body Care Chocolate wax. After u do this then use Suthol Neem spray on it as it helps get rid of any bumps on the skin caused due to waxing. Every day rub an alum stone known as a Fitkari on this area as it's very good in delaying hair growth. Check abt Fitkari/alum on RUclips. U will find many results with it.

Hello, first you need to find out why you have facial hair if not because of PCOd , Once you know the reason you can take a call and take laser treatment because if you don’t have PCOd laser might actually work well.

Lazer hair removal is not permanent. Go for electrolysis. Electrolysis is the only way to permanently get rid for hairs.

Hey Sadiya , I use a combination, I use epilator and tweezer. I use eyebrow trimmer when I don’t have time and have to get somewhere, trimmer removes the hair for time being .

Hey Gurpreet, a lot of ladies/girls suffer from PCOS and almost everybody will have some amount of facial hair , nobody is born without it , so we have to accept that fact and be positive. Having said that , you know your quotient with your fiancée so if you are close enough and your fiancée doesn’t mind talking about these things just mention in one of your conversations, if you don’t think that’s the case then wait for a while, get to know him well and may be send a blog or may be this video about PCOS/facial hair, give him a little context and then say you are facing similar issues and would love for him to respect and understand your problems. Hey Nandini , I’m a breast feeding mom so I haven’t made any significant changes to my diet in the last 15months but before I conceived I was conscious about the amount of carbs I consumed and also I drank spearmint tea for a while and I exercised regularly which helped keep my androgen levels in check , but I will soon be trying out some changes in my diet and will update in a months time.

Hey Sonali , thr black bumps and scars are ingrown hairs , My mom had it because of waxing for long . Please take a few sittings of laser treatment and the black spots and scars will go away (my moms black spots went away) but hair growth won’t go permanently, so for that I don’t have a solution. @@sindhuramub Laser doctor burnt my face...so I m having burnt black chin becoz of lazer and I stopped that treatment...After laser I started waxing my face..It makes black spots with tiny bumps all over the waxing covered area...Half face and under chin..I tried epilator of philips 7 thousand such an expensive epilator and as I used it on my face it took out skin from my face.... epilators is the worst option I found...I don't know what to do... Only praying God to take me... don't want to live any more
