This song means so much to me. I added it to my iPod just before my senior trip to Europe, and found myself singing it on the motor coach as we were driving along the French Mediterranean coast. When my classmates heard me singing it, they insisted I plug my iPod into the bus’s PA system, and when I did, the whole bus sang along to the song. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky that day, the sea was sapphire blue, and we did not have a care in the world as we travelled in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. This is one of my favourite memories of high school, and this song never fails to bring a smile to my face, sometimes with happy tears as I remember the greatest trip I have ever taken.
