  • Here I am working on a 2005 Ford Escape that is running rough.
The Repair is a new Computer.
I am just a one-man shop that is located near the Kentucky border in Southern Illinois. I try hard to have each and every Customer happy when they pick up their vehicle.

Nice work my man. I’ve done my share of Ford pcm programming. What j2534 do you use?

      I use a VCM2. I like using OE Tools.

I have the vcm2 as well. But you’ll go broke buying the Chrysler stuff. It’s about 150 per car to do through j2534. Oh yea I’m guilty of using a tech 2 clone but I sent it to an electronic shop had the guts swapped out for original stuff. They specialize in circuit board repair. And put an oem memory card in so have 400 invested been using for 3 years

Not a single issue. Since the upgrade. Then junk clones reboot on ya if you crank the car that’s why there cheaper

@@philh9238 I have both Tech2's and both have to have external power for that reason.

There’s a guy on eBay he’ll fix it. I’ll give you his contact if you want. He fixed mine don’t need an external power source anymore.
