As a mich fan myself, I’m here for the same reason. I am proud that Mich is rebuilding and becoming better but every year we have a good season and then fall flat agaisnt OSU. We have the players now, we should be beating teams by 50 pts like OSU.
I’ve watched CFB my whole life and now because of urban I watch it differently. It’s natural for the eye to follow the ball but now watching the read and inside and blocking it’s all that more interesting..
Yeah, but then you miss the game. You can watch as a fan or as an analyst. Don't get me wrong, it's fascinating, but you know what I mean? It's hard to resist watching the ball, and that's why guys who never touch the ball don't become household names despite being 75% of what makes plays work.
Ohio has so much love for Urban Meyer. I'll never ever forget what he did for us, and I'm thankful he's analyzing football now. He's great at this too.
I've always loved football. While I have good understanding of basic plays, I always watched the ball After seeing quite a few of these videos I will have to start studying film and teach myself how to watch the play while enjoying the ball! Great Job! Urban Meyer!
You can tell urban really loves what he does and to see something such as the offense he implemented at OSU be successful(with a few pro style looks from R.Day's playbook). Makes him enjoy what he doing even better.
As a Longhorns fan I would've loved to see VY (4.38-4.59 40, 6'5" 230lbs) run this inverted read, with that much mass and speed between the tackles. Granted he did okay with the plain ol' zone read.
If Gattis and Harbaugh have any sense, they need to literally steal OSUs offense. I don’t want to take away from Justin fields but he’s just a freshman. An offense that puts up numbers like this is from the design and strategy. As a Mich fan I respect OSU completely. They have only lost a handful of games in the last decade. That’s truly incredible. It’s almost unfair to us Mich fans but hopefully we can start scoring more points. It’s frustrating to recruit so well each year and then not put up numbers.
@@easyenetwork2023 think so...... You nailed it Jake. I'm going to tell you what we're going to do this play. Can you stop us? Can anyone imagine Jim Harbough giving up one of his plays?
This isn't anything special, you can see the same plays on Madden. And it's not like the other team's coaches aren't already looking at the same OSU's film weeks in advance to prep. This is just dumbed down to the average viewers like us.
thats when play action pops big plays over the top. thats whats so strong about this offensive scheme, if you get caught cheating on the run the play action big plays come in to roast you because you have no pass rush.
So the Mike is then Qb read mike is let to go so if he jump out go inside if stay go outside scheme is always islolation good speed from tailback and Qb that can sold play. Ever play in papier is just in papier player are those that excute allway wont be as is on papier.
Meyer is so jealous of Day for having Justin Fields. That's Meyer's perfect QB. Throws like Dwayne, runs almost as powerful as JT and almost as quick as Braxton.
JT was 6'1" and ran a 4.7 pro day. Braxton was 6'2" and ran a 4.5 at the combine and could not throw like Fields. Fields is 6'3" 230lbs , throws a better long ball than Dwayne and runs a 4.4. Slightly shorter version of Cam Newton
@@tonyrogers767 for JT, I was referring to his power during a run, not his speed. For Braxton, I was referring to quickness (not straight line 40 yard dash). No way Fields is as quick as Braxton, as Braxton may be the quickest buckeye ever. The long ball throw is debatable.
@@Apofuexgaming I'll give you Braxton and his short area quickness and moves, but there's a reason why ESPN rated Fields ahead of Trevor Lawrence and Fields is the highest rated QB ever in OSU history. He's closer to Cam Newton who was rated a 5 star twice, before he went to Florida and when he went to Juco and then Auburn.
@@tonyrogers767 Fields has a way better arm than Cam Newton though. Fields has a great deep ball and can make every throw. Cam has had an issue with accuracy his whole career in the NFL. I didn't really watch him in college though.
Nothing new really. Problem is to stop it. You need athletes, speed and ability to shed blocks and make tackles in space. And even if you stop inside zone QB runner or outside tb runnier, they have plays to run off of that action that will just destroy you and make you pay. This offense fucks with the heads of your lbs and safeties and makes them pay.
It's not giving away a secret, trust me coaches are smart, they watch film. Urban is not saying anything these coaches don't already know, but you have to have the athletes to execute those plays, that's the key.
These segments are the greatest thing to ever come from BTN. So, so good.
Urban has found his calling, and he doesn't have to police players and coaches. That's a good deal.
Greatest thing x 10
MegaSlowe yes. But he’s not making 7M either. Lol
The journey is pretty great. Those long ones
Part of what made Urban such a great Coach is that he is a great "communicator". Now, everybody can see it!!!!!
Harbaugh and Gattis are furiously taking notes.
They need to change their shorts after hearing Fields runs a 4.36 second forty.

That Michael Bishop led KSU team is probably the closest that program will ever get to a natty. That team was scary good.
BTN did well getting Urban on board.
Amazing.
Don’t care about numbers this guy is the best coach don’t care.
EZekiel Elliot executed long runs against Alabama with that exact same blocking scheme.

Urban & the Fox CF show is so much better and interesting than esecpn!

Great segment. What happens if both DE's jam both tackles at the line?
If you are a 2-gap defense, you can cause some problems. But it’d diminish your pass rush so you might be vulnerable in the pass game.
