Ray really brings out the gospel feel in this classic. I like it.

Probably my fav singer and piano player So hard I bet to be in his traveling band, you guys sounded great here. The bad thing about Ray is he was always the best in the room, thats tough sometimes because nobody could ever hear what RAY was hearing. Love this song, and I want to know HOW Paul Simon wrote this incredible song, he had to have had a lot of help on this chord structure. No way he did this alone. MaYBE his best song.

Personaly though I love this song I think the middle is harmonicaly suspect.
Of course it was all his own work.

starting 3:03 i thought that was a guitar player in the background . nope, when they widened the zoom lens it was Ray on the keyboards . that blew my mind ! he really has his keyboard stacked with synth sounds. my guess he was also using a toggle with the left hand to get them blue note bends and slides. although on other songs at this concert there is an excellent guitar player playing and you could tell the difference

Always wondered who that band is.. Just guys out of the hall, or a dedicated group traveling with Ray. They sure do excel!

We were Ray's traveling band. 7 months a year. I was on the band 1991-2003, when he got sick. And thanks much!

The bassist sitting closest to ray looks suspiciously like Paul Simon doesn’t he…
