Capital One has terrible customer service. The horrible service plus the availability of other 2X cards with no annual fee made leaving Capital One a no brainer.
I don't understand why some people are so eager to get the bag and stand in the aisle for 20 minutes waiting. It's an Unwritten Rule: Unless someone is clearly not in a hurry to exit the plane, you should exit in order from the front of the plane. It's rude trying to pass people sitting in front of you.
Now THAT statement was worth the price of admission. RIGHT! Even if they approve them for the card, what are the chances of a default for that customer base?
@@mikecumbo7531 Apple customers famously skew high income and high spend. Not even comparable to Wal-Mart customers. Goldman lost their lunch because the terms were just a bad deal for Goldman and everyone could see that, except them.
📦 I stay seated until the people about 2-3 rows ahead of me are disembarking. If I'm in row 15, I don't see any point in standing up when they haven't even opened the door yet.
I’m really looking forward to a “Basic Business” class from Delta. When I cross multiple timezones for work, I’m looking for a lie-flat sleep so I can hopefully sleep. The other perks can be nice, but I often don’t “get my money’s worth” out of them. Just give me the cheapest possible flat seat so I have a fighting chance of not being a zombie day 1.
IMHO, standing up is not only acceptable but also makes things easier for everyone. Having said that, unless you tell people around you ahead of time that you have a tight connection and need off as soon as possible it's incredibly rude to push past anyone. Stand in the same row you were seated in and wait your turn. In my experience, Delta has some of the most well educated fliers when it comes to flying manners and it's incredibly normal for everyone to stand up.
📦 I half stand and grab stuff out of overhead if I'm not crushing anyone's heads, and also to alleviate the middle seat person (usually P2) from the constant squished feeling of flying in the middle seat. What I don't get is when people get up, grab their stuff, and inch their way forward trying to pass everyone else doing the same thing. Unless you have a connection, it feels like you're just being a jerk to everyone in front of you.
📦 It depends on what row you are in. I don’t stand up until the three rows in front of me starts to move in the aisle towards the exit. I usually always sit in the isle seat.
📦 +1 for the airfly. It's worth being able to use the entertainment screens with noise cancellation although I've been on a few flights where Bluetooth is available in the screens. As for deplaning IMO I think it's okay to stand up and grab your stuff if you return to your seated area. But standing in the aisle slows the process because often a person needs to go behind a few rows to grab their carry-on but is blocked by people who are standing in the aisle. This causes people to need to move so the person can go back and grab their carry-on and then resume the remaining rows to grab their stuff (often repeating the same event that slowed down the process).
That two card only rule is not true if you look anywhere at customer reports (I also personally have > 2 personal cards). Annoying that it keeps on getting perpetuated
In my opinion… everybody standing up causes unorganized herding mentality,. The row isn’t big enough for both aisle seats people to occupy the aisle and hold their bags. Plus, if the middle aisle person wanted to stretch out… 1. Go to the bathroom before landing 2. If you pay for aisle seating you know what to expect. Other than that… nobody can leave the plane unless the people in front leave first. Standing adds mental pressure to the people in the front. Like, try g to run somebody off the road.
📦 Moving back to Synchrony would be wild given their previous lawsuit and customer support issues too. No pickups for Prime but I'm not hurting for other things rn. And I stay seated, I almost always fly in the window seat so I wait for the others in my row to get out! :)
