Thank you for this tutorial, it is very helpful! I like the fact that you explain everything step by step, making it really easy to understand for everyone💞
😢its taking forever. Im half way done. It looks beautiful. Never gonna make it again probably provided how much time it takes 😅. Thank you for the pattern. 😊
Hi! I don't understand how the scrunchie turns into a tube around the elastic (minute 8 of your video)... I'm not there yet but your tutorial is very helpful!!
Hello! 🤍 After you chain 20, you have to pass your chain through the elastic & make a slip stitch, which creates a ring around the elastic. You can watch back at 1min 40 seconds! Hope this helps! ❤
@@crochetdaniela I understood what was going on around row 20! Felt a little stupid for asking that question 🤭 I'm almost done with this project (my first one ever), thank you so much for your tutorial, it's really helpful!
I've been crocheting for twelve years, and I'd say that yes you absolutely can. The type of yarn really shouldn't matter for a scrunchie that you're making, as long as it's about the same size AKA "weight" as the Truboo yarn used in this video which is a size 3, a light weight yarn. And that's not to say that you couldn't use another yarn size for a scrunchie, it's just that you would just need to adjust how many chains you make at the beginning if you did, and you'll need to use the yarn's recommended hook size. :) I hope this helps!
This is very underrated! As a beginner, I found this really helpful! Tysm💖
I'm so happy to hear that, thank you!! 🥰

It turned out so cute I can’t wait to make some, I can use up my stash and maybe make some scrap yarn ones ☺️🩷
I love it! As a beginner, can you tell me how many chains I should make if I use big yarn? Would chunky yarn work here as well?

I think I made my stitches too tight... Still love it 💖💖 Thank you so much for the amazing tutorial
It was so easy but for me it took a lil bit of time ( I'm a beginner) but it was so forth it
Yes it is time consuming it’s true! Thank you for your feedback! 🫶🏻
Mine didn't have curves and had some pieces big and some small tho i did follow the tutorial any tips?
You just gained a subscriber 🎉
Lovely tutorial, however im about 40 rows in and mine is not scrunching, its really stiff and i dont know what ive done wrong! Any advice?
Hi, I think you have done ur stitches really tight. Maybe try again and loosen ur tension
or try a bigger hook? makes the stitches loose
Mine too. Tho I'm making my stitches very loose
Then maybe typa yarn. Some acrylic and even cotton yarns can be stiff. Hers looked very lightweight. Kind of like a bambo blend I've used before
Might be the yarn you use@@chaewonsassy-ii4uj
Can anyone tell me why mine is inside out?? Like the lines from crocheting into the back of the stitch are on the inside instead of the outside…
Thank you for this tutorial
hi what type of yarn are you using ?
Hi, is it ok to use milk cotton yarn for this?
