Thanks much Daniella, you explained this subject very well. Was looking at all my bead crocheting books and it was only your video that was able to make it perfectly understandable.

Thank you for showing the difference between the slip stitch and the single bead crochet. I have a question. What kind of fastening would you recommend for bead crochet? Thanks!

Hi, thank you very much. I usually end my ropes with bead caps. Either classic or glue-on. And I either use a classic lobster clasp or a toggle clasp or a magnetic clasp. Bracelets can also be made without a clasp like bangles. You can also find the tutorial on my channel.

I’ve done both sl st and single crochet on my bead tubes. Hands down, I prefer the single crochet. The sl st is far too tight and inflexible, and I just am not impressed with it. Thank you for your addressing the differences.

I also use single crochet 99% of the time now, but it's more due to the type of projects I do. Slip stitch is only good for very specific projects.

Hi Daniela, thank you for sharing this video!! I would like to know if from a 9 round pattern rope, it can be taken to a round 6 pattern rope keeping the same design pattern.
    Thank you!! 🙋‍♀️

Thank you for the information! I would love to learn how to do the single stitch bead crochet! I have known how to do the slip stitch bead crochet for years! But now I want to make wider things using bead crochet but cannot find any tutorial in english! Please make a video tutorial in english! Thank you! Brenda Moffett

I wanted to say I have watched your previous videos and I don't see the difference between your single bead crochet tutorial and the slip stitch crochet that I have been doing for years. I do see a difference in the double stitch bead crochet technique and that is what I'm trying to get the hang of. I have tried numerous times but can't get the first couple rows right. I know how to do regular crochet, like for afghans and I know how to do single or slip stitch bead crochet, but for some reason can't get double bead crochet going correctly. I guess I will keep trying. Thank you for your videos!

This spiral one with 6 beads in 1 row takes about 4 hours.
