Is it just me or are there visible gaps between the top lid and the bottom where the rubber gasket is not touching? Some look quite large. See video around 14:12 onwards.
Sorry about the delayed reply. Most rooftop tents of this type tend to have a bit of a gap in places, there would need to far more latches to ensure a tight seal everywhere. I hadn't made any effort to properly deflate the mat inside for this video either so there was a bit of upward pressure on the lid. The fabric inside is waterproof still so the sleeping area is going to remain dry. If you are in really wet weather I'd recommend using a pump to deflate the mat completely so the lid seals tightly all the way around, and avoid too much bedding inside to reduce the upward pressure on the lid. ~ Ben
You'd need to confirm the weight ratings of both your roof bars and vehicle roof, but the lightweight nature of these tents means they are suitable for many vehicles. ~ Ben
would you be able to do a roof install with the 23zero saber super lite? just interested to see how it goes because of its thin materials with sagging etc
I've had it on my car for the last 1-2 weeks, it is the same weight as the flat bed roof rack I took off my car to install the rooftop tent, so no noticeable difference. If anything it would be quieter on the highway as there wouldn't be as much noise going through all the roof rack rails. ~ Ben

Great demo - Thanks!
Cheers

So is it possible to lift the tent onto a roof with one person?
If you can snatch over your head than you could, but I'd recommend getting help so as not to damage vehicle or tent. ~ Ben
@@SnowysOutdoors I actually can snatch 200lbs over head so I guess I could do it lol
Hi, could you please reply to my question about the seal gaps when the lid is closed. Thanks
Sorry, see below (or above, not sure what order these will appear in). ~ Ben
yeah ben.... answers NOW NOW NOW 😂
Rood bar rack is sufficient enough for the weight of this tent?

We don;'t have plans for this sorry. 23Zero do recommend the use of 3 roof bars for the Superlite in order to stop sagging. ~ Ben
That rtt looks so thin you cant leave bedding in it. Can you store the ladder in it?
No ladder, but you can fit bedding inside, check out the other videos we have shot where we demo this. ~ Ben
Did you keep it on your car Ben, interested to know if it drove okay/ weight was noticeable?
