Now that's thinking outside the square .... Looks great, I am not that patient, so def kudos to you guys... it looked like a dedicated mission with an awesome outcome.... Looks great...... Btw your hair is gorgeous..
In order to get the truck under the hoist easier, did you not consider simply letting some air out of your tyres? That would have immediately lowered your truck. 👍
Yeah mate we were going to let the tyres down but we worked out the hoist would be just high enough so i didnt need to, but had the deflater on standby 🤣
Sorry for the Late reply mate. yeah you would but your going to be over hanging heaps and youll wont be able to open your canopy doors up all the way. Personally i think your going to be too heavy on one side if you add the 270 awning ! Later on im going to buy 2x 180 degree awning and mount them on the cab to help even the weight out.
You could use a thick enough bar instead of a roof racks. But you get silly people who undersize the thickness or quality of the bar so i showed the roof racks that are rated for 100Kgs ! So if you do it right yes you dont need roof racks 😃
Thank you so much for this video xo I'm having the same drama fitting my tent. Everyone is telling my I need brackets :D

100% How long did it take from start to finish?
@@aussie5493 i would allow 1 full day from start to finish. Just take your time and double check all your measurements
