Once in a live Q & A, someone asked the guys who among them they felt had the best voice. They all pointed to Rob. Which is some compliment when you consider what amazing voices they all have.
Rob does have a beautiful voice, but I still prefer Austins smooth homey feeling voice. Especially when he does those high soft tones and those powerful belts. Just Amazing !!!
That soft beautiful ending of Austins just makes me sigh and take a deep breath. They are all so very talented and their voices are all supurb and just mesh together like they were born for just this purpose. Thank you for your wonderful analysis of their songs, I enjoy you so much. Sure would love for you to dig deeper into Home Frees catalogue of songs, they have such a wonderful variety to pick from !!!
Have listened to this song so many times now and it still gives me goosebumps. Absolutely fantastic performance from the guys. A song to dream, you can forget the everyday life for a short time. Love this song, love these guys! Good reaction!
I think, as humans, we connect to the things most like us at first. So as a person that sings high notes, you naturally tend to hear that first. As someone that sings bass, the thing I connect to first is what Tim and Adam Chance are doing. There were a bunch of times you were commenting on what Rob was doing, while I was thinking Tim is a monster he’s killing it. After listening to it a few times though, I think it would be a disservice if I didn’t say Adam’s vocal percussion may be the unrecognized and overlooked genius of this performance.
Oh I agree. A lot times in choruses, the bass will kind of echo every one else, but in My Church, Tim is actually a couple of beats ahead and nobody catches it.
I think Adam's vocal percussion is Amazing and is one of the reasons for their success. True Home Free fans or us Frys never overlook Adam's contribution to their great music !!
It’s beautiful isn’t it?! Stunning really. I agree, Home Free does amazing arrangements and you can easily miss stuff. Go back to the beginning and listen to Adam, the beatboxer, do a heartbeat sound (when Tim sings). Loved the video, Rob and Austin’s riffs and Tim and Chance with the bass. So good. They’re amazing. Have you listened to One Man Band, it’s beautiful too. Great reaction Danielle! I subscribed.
Thank you! Adam Rupp’s beatboxing was my favorite part. I hope you check out some of HF original songs. A few favorite Home Free originals: Dive Bar Saints, Land of the Free, Full of Cheer, Snow Globe and Movin On (with their founder and a favorite tenor, Chris Rupp).
Thanks for your reaction. Another winner by Home Free! These guys don't need any props or theatrics just their beautiful voices to harmonize. Rob & Austin in their tenor voices, Tim & Chance carrying the bass, and then Adam adds the finishing touches with his tasteful beatboxing.
When ThatSingerReacts did this video he said something like "you know it's going to be good if they're standing in the grass" Honestly I prefer these videos/performances, it focuses on the music while sometimes the choreography and extras can be distracting.
"i'd like to have the time i've lost ".....i'm 70....the line becomes more meaningful to me every minute that passes... another Quote comes to mind (paraphrased)' you don't regret the things you did only the times you failed to act..' it is true, my friens
These guys are sooo good, it's hard to put it into words. Every time I listen to them, it's like a party going on in my ears. I play the bass, so I'm all about harmony's and rhythm, these guys are a bass player's dream. Like listening to the sounds of heaven.
Only thing wrong with MY FAVORITE GROUP .... they titled the song " Bless the Broken Road" .... WHEN IT IS GOD* Bless the Broken Road" ..... thought they would not miss the importance !!! Vocal talent is second to none ..... or any other in sight !
Did you notice the beginning? I suspect it was Adam doing the car noise, which segued smoothly into the group hum. That hum was sustained beautifully for approximately a zillion years until Rob began his first solo. Amazing. Magical.
Listen to Adam's heart beat in the 1st verse. And the dual bases were incredible, especially their double dive at the end. So much going on in the 3rd verse. This is my new favorite from HF.
Danielle, thanks for another wonderful reaction, I love that you're loving these guys and their work - I'm a total fan myself! I would really love for you to get to know Peter Hollens (if you don't already), a highly awarded classically trained artist, arranger, broadway performer, specialized in layering acapella, and works a lot with others of my absolutely favorites here on RUclips. You should listen to the U2 classic "I still haven't found what I'm looking for", where he features Home Free. Also, his arrangement of "Amazing Grace", also featuring Home Free is wonderful. He also does "Misty Mountains" with Tim Foust from Home Free. Peter's work is out of this world, just as is Home Free's
Danielle, your blend of enjoyment and analysis, especially regarding my favorite acapella group, is always wonderful! Another recent release I'd love to see you react to is the Huey Lewis & the News classic "Workin' For a Living." It's awesome, hilarious, and Adam will blow you away. 😁 So glad you're a Home Fry! #subscriptionsquad
Enjoy watching your reactions. If you would like to enjoy Chance's voice and see how talented he is as well, go ahead and dip your ears into the song I can't Outrun You where he is the lead. The entire group is stupid talented and they blend oh so well. Enjoy the rabbit hole of Home Free.
Loved your reaction! I saw Austin say at an event that when we heard Home Free sing on the cruise ship (where he was performing), he knew he had to sing with them - partly because of Rob's voice. These guys are all awesome - can't wait to see them live in a couple of weeks up in Wisconsin.
New subscriber - thanks to your great reaction to another amazing performance by Home Free. I also happen to be a big Angelina Jordan fan & would love to see you react to one of her songs. Highly recommend her black & white performance of I Put A Spell On You - also arranged by her - at age 9 (over 9 million views :). Thank you. And may GOD continue to watch over & bless Angelina Jordan.
The one thing to remember about home free is they are true professionals and they are very family based the group home free has been together for over 20 years now they are more than band mates they are brothers.
Coach, still waiting for you to react When a Man loves a woman by Home Free. Austin did a amazing job. This song, should have given chill whoever a woman listened.
Rob's control is ridiculous. He is the master of runs and ad libs. Check out End of the Road, Folsom Prison Blues and Love Me Like That. As for range, I saw an interview with Tim where they asked him what his range was and he said though he hadn't actually tested his range, it was about the same as a piano.
In their original, Love Me Like That, you get to hear Rob's lower register in some adlibs towards the end. Imo, it really sounds great. And I'd love to hear more of that from him.
Thank you Danielle for yet another wonderful reaction video! As always...your vids are wonderful and i find u delightful in your joyously cheerful manner as u break down each song that u listen to! Keep them coming young lady!! I learn a great deal about music and singing every time i watch your videos! Please consider reacting to a recent rendition that Home Free has come out with called "Folsum prison blues"...originally sung by Johnny Cash!! Its not only fun to watch but creatve as well! Watching you react to this song would be a blast for sure! Also......one of my personal favorites of HomeFree is a song originally sung by Russell Dickerson titled: "I'm yours"!....its an AWESOME wedding song with Adam as the lead singer! i think you will really enjoy it! p.s....please make sure u view the official video version of the song....not a live performance version...its by far the best!! Take care Danielle and God Bless!
Always enjoy your reactions. This reaction as well. But I'm a bit surprised that you didn't give any love to Adam Rupp and his incredible beatbox skills. Love the channel. 🏆🏆👍💛
Enjoy your reactions! The interesting thing about some of the time even when Austin is singing in a video, where they are able to layer over their overs, he actually is singing some of the highest parts with himself. They are so super special aren't they? Love them so much. Have been to six live shows, if you can ever get to one you will NOT be disappointed! Fun, funny, awesome interactions with the crowd. You leave so happy and shaking your head for hours after! Can't wait to see them again as early next as I hope they can get here! It you haven't yet, look up the live performance of Home Free where they have Austin using his classical training on Les Miserables! Oh wow. Take care.
Enjoyed it as always ma'am. Thank ye for reactin to more Home Free. Please keep em comin as it's convenient as well as more Voiceplay/Geoff Castellucci. Love whatcha do n how you do it! Hope you and yorn have a goodun.✝️🤠
You’re reviews are so fantabulous & you have so much further to go with Home Free ! It’s a little early to send someone to Mayday but you have such a grasp of all the guys & their voices that I believe it’s the perfect time for you to do a review of it. It will blow your mind & us home fries will love that reaction. Definitely earned a subscriber here & we’re hopelessly hoping that you don’t make us wait. TRUST ME on this one !!
Like that you give Rob some love! He's so amazing! Home Free! They're just the best acappella group out there together with The Real Group! Funny thing is I've talked to the members of both groups and they deeply admired the talents of the other group. So much respect and love in the acapella community!
I'm drawn to the richness and support of the low end I can only seem to hear if I wear at least good earbuds. I wanna hear it all! These guys are truly masters!
this is one of my favorite songs to sing on videoke(karaoke) and ive always felt that Rascal Flatts's did the best version of this song and Home Free did just as well. ❤🙏 #subscriptionsquad
I love Robs voice as well, and Austin's so great. Still - can't help that my sweet spots are for Tim and Adam - Tim's amazing basenotes (but I love all of his octaves) and timing and Adam's perfect beatboxing! Adam's not often mentioned since most talk of the tenors and base, but take him away from any song (that he's supposed to beatbox in) and it will lose so much. Love your engagement in the songs! New #subscriptionsquad here. Would absolutely love to see you react to Woman Amen/Female with these guys!
I don't know if you have heard of David Phelps before, but he used to sing with the Gaither Vocal Band? David Phelps was the tenor for them, he is ridiculously good and can hit insane high notes! There are many videos of him by himself and with the Gaither Vocal Band. Please check out David singing O Holy Night, I think you will enjoy his voice! Thank you.
Actually, you should check out Home Free's rendition of "My Country Tis of Thee". You will love the harmonies and this is another song where Adam Rupp ( the beatboxer) Sings !
You still haven't heard a lot from Adam Chance. You heard a little in helplessly hoping but if you want a really great solo from each of them, please look up Don Mclean's 50th anniversary re-release of American Pie. Don Mclean partnered with Home Free on it and basically gives them each a verse. Tim sings in the middle of his range for his solo but goes low in other parts. Since you are such a big fan of Rob though, he takes lead in their original song, 'Why Not' that I think you'd really really like. He also takes lead in their cover of 'End Of The Road' by Boyz2Men
Loved your reaction! If you haven’t done so yet, please react to their cover of John Mayer’s “In the Blood”. The harmonies will give you chills and they make it come so alive!
Now that you've become more familiar with Home Free, I'd suggest you give their cover of "May Day" by Cam. Tim and Chance will blow your mind in this video. Absolutely amazing work.
Now that you have reacted; go back and listen without viewing. When you can think you can accurately identify each voice by vocalist's name then go back and view it again to see if you are correct. Sometimes we really can't tell which makes it soooo interesting!
#subscriptionsquad. This is my favorite cover of this Rascal Flatts song. They sure donut justice. You do such fun reactions and i would love you to react to Voiceplay featuring Ashley Diane If I Was A Rich Man.
The synchrony and timing between Adam Rupp and Tim Foust is just amazing. Wow.
@@terrichristenson432 I prefer Austin as well, but each to their own:)
If you love Rob's runs, then you will Love their "End of the Road". He goes to church on that one.
Or "Blue Ain't Your Color" or "Take Me Home, Country Roads"
Facts
Don't forget Cross That Bridge!
End of the road is so good
I feel like Rob can harmonize with every single member of this group and it is amazingly beautiful!
This rendition is better than the one we played at my wedding. Beautiful.
This will be awesome for y'alls anniversary ❣💕
Home frees when a man loves a woman. It’s amazing
I love how when Austin was singing lead Tim took over the "doo deedooo" that Austin had been doing in the beginning when Rob was singing lead.
Home Free with another beautiful smooth gordgious song and vedio. Great reaction
This is another video you need to watch multiple times.....and each time you see or hear something new! Thanks for a great reaction!
That soft beautiful ending of Austins just makes me sigh and take a deep breath. I always love rascal songs thank you for this reaction of Home Free’s rendition coach Danielle 😊
Sounds so amazing super cool
Rob has that comforting tone, it’s the kind of voice you want to sing you to sleep.
Just love what they did with this song!! So awesome!!! Love these guys!. Puts a smile on my face. 😁😁😁😁
Another Good Reaction.....Thanks for the love and support to the artist ...have a good evening
Rob's tenor is mellow, earthy, and extremely bright all at the same time. Very, very rare indeed.
Chance brings so much reinforcement and flexibility to the bass and baritone that supports their full sound!!
Boy oh boy girl, I hope Home Free has a chance to review your reactions, because you are wonderful! I get so tickled just watching you! Well done ❤
Have listened to this song so many times now and it still gives me goosebumps. Absolutely fantastic performance from the guys. A song to dream, you can forget the everyday life for a short time. Love this song, love these guys! Good reaction!
Well done Danielle, do you ever break down and cry when you hear such beautiful music? I did!

Danielle, you have seen enough of Home Free, that it is now time to react to their cover of "Mayday". Your mind will be blown.
She might be ready, but I’d rather she had one or two more under her belt before she tackles that one.

Amazing - Home Free and your reaction!!💗

Austin and Tim singing My Maria is spellbinding. Tim amazes once again.
Danielle the way you call out the background and harmony voices has made me so much aware and enhanced my experience. 👍
"i'd like to have the time i've lost ".....i'm 70....the line becomes more meaningful to me every minute that passes... another Quote comes to mind (paraphrased)' you don't regret the things you did only the times you failed to act..' it is true, my friens
Beautiful
Such a great song. Love their version. Rob has such a versatile voice that he can make anything from country to pop to r&b sound good.
Thanks Daielle, I love home free, your reactions help me understand why these guys are so good
Danielle did you notice how the blend from the engine to the hum in the first note...fricking brilliant ..great reaction as usual
Beautiful!

Coach, still waiting for you to react When a Man loves a woman by Home Free. Austin did a amazing job. This song, should have given chill whoever a woman listened.
Yes this one is incredible
This. They had Austin's girlfriend there, when he looks at the camera, he's looking towards her.
Their newest Brother in Arms dropped, you'll be impressed. Thanks for the great reaction.

Waited a long time for them to do this! Perfect!
Literally my journey to find my missin rib (Genesis 2:21&22 KJV) in song form.✝️🤠

Home Free doesn't do covers, they do upgrades! Thanks for your reactions
Gotta watch them sing ring of fire !!!!! And when they were into he show song off!!!!!
I think you would like their version of "all about that bass"!
Thank you.

wait til she hears the song we don't mention yet ;)
One of…if not their best yet!! Great Reaction!! You gotta check out Voiceplay’s - Hoist the colors…Absolutely amazing work by them! 🤙🏻
Check out: Dan Vasc, Alyona, Halocene, First 2 Eleven, Violet Olandi, and Lauren Babic
Please keep up the home free 🙏
You're right about the high voice. Rob sings high harmony for Austin.! They're the best.!
Loved your reaction! If you haven’t done so yet, please react to their cover of John Mayer’s “In the Blood”. The harmonies will give you chills and they make it come so alive!
Now for the technical review: "Rob's voice is so sweet!"
This was originally a Nitty Gritty Dirt Band song, brought back out by Rascal Flatts. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Sometimes we really can't tell which makes it soooo interesting!
have some fun and react to sea shanty medley, home free - Love your channel!!! ❤❤
#subscriptionsquad. This is my favorite cover of this Rascal Flatts song. They sure donut justice. You do such fun reactions and i would love you to react to Voiceplay featuring Ashley Diane If I Was A Rich Man.
They did a great job with this Rascal Flatts song.
In this song the high note was Adam Chance
Just watched a wonderfull cover by Home Free, you should try there version of Amazing Grace
Aloha coach
Loved your reaction! I saw somewhere that Chance and Tim did tha bass at the end. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
