I just recently got to see them live for the first time, and they are 1000% more impressive in person than their recordings. Definitely worth it if their tour comes anywhere near you!
I absolutely agree! Had the chance to catch them in Tulsa on my wifes birthday. I now feel like I shot myself in the foot because I'll have a hard time time topping that for her next birthdays. These guy are simply fantastic.
I agree! You literally feel the music, esp. the bass. My wife and I have seen them twice - a Christmas tour in '19 [?] and just a couple months ago. Both were stellar!
This one is on my favorite Home Free song list. The arrangement is so good, and I love how well their voices blend together. Many Home Fries say their music is like a warm blanket wrapped around you. This song is a good example. Did you hear Adam making the subtle heartbeat sound? If you watch the original MV, you would hear it at about 1:05. He always adds delicate touch to the songs, and I love him for that.
You are so cute and fun when you are hesitant to interrupt, but you can't help it because you are so excited to point the nuance that just makes those parts so great and unique that take this performance to the next level. 🥰 Home Free simply bring it alive by reaching in our vested inherent emotional souls to embrace our fellow mankind with a very positive experience. Thank you for your reaction, and great pauses with your heartfelt reasons for the interpretations Home Free took with their presentation that stood out and your insights as to how that works best for their performance. ❣
What woman I loved your reaction to this Home Free cover. The guys are truly amazing. I did check first. So if you can react to The Driver and Listen to the music. These 2 covers by Home free are Ear-candy. Hope you enjoy and Godspeed.
That double bass at the end with Tim & Chance is just so dang lovely....glad you reacted to this, as it's one of their most beautiful !! Thanks to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for the original in the 1990s and then Rascal Flatts cover in 2003/2004. Many folks are using this in their weddings nowadays.
That little 3-note motif recurs throughout the song, usually right before the "God Bless..." line. It is in different voices almost every time it happens. Small thing that just helps tie the whole thing together.
One of the more interesting parts of this song is when Tim and Chance are doubling up on the base line when Tim is not in lead. Some of this is very tight bass and low baritone harmony, but often they are singing the same pitch to add colors to the line.
Their subtleties, cohesiveness, true love for each other, and their goal, of creating great music... no one stands out, they each do, and, therefore they ALL do! That is evident in everything they do! That's why they are the BEST!!! ❤️
Thanks for your reaction. Another winner by Home Free! These guys don't need any props or theatrics just their beautiful voices to harmonize. Rob & Austin in their tenor voices, Tim & Chance carrying the bass, and then Adam adds the finishing touches with his tasteful beatboxing.
Great reaction to another wonderful song by Home Free. If you want to hear something that will blow your mind, listen to Tim Foust's solo Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay. He shows that Adam Rupp is not the only "freak of nature" in the group.
It is so refreshing to listen to your reactions, backed by your profession and not just watching some youtuber watching a video and saying „wow“ from time to time.
Nice knowledgeable reaction...love this song of all the Home Free songs. The Gazebo and that lovely lake...with the cool sundial strokes...amazing video as well.
I really, really enjoy your reactions to and comments on Home Free! I get to see them live next month and your videos are helping to build my expectations. Thank you!
Hey girl, another great reaction and breakdown. I loved this one since they released it. This is one of the first times they have used the home free logo into the landscape behind the car in the beginning of this one. Nice touch! The video you were going to watch is not only great musically but is more cute than sad. I enjoyed watching your reaction and breakdown!!! Low bass Kenneth
I liked and totally agree with Chris about brothers in arms! A club for five arrangement! But one of their absolute best lately is : listen to the music!
I will comment from an amateur point of view ; it tastes like a children's poem that gives importance to rhyme. Peaceful and usual, like a church choir song in a cowboy town. And.... skillful enough to create order out of the confusion of different harmonies. I like it...
Thank you for a beautiful analysis of Home Free and this song. That’s how I feel about them too…that they’re all incredible talents that have come together to make a beautiful sound. I think this arrangement is stunning. It’s a beautiful song lyrically and Home Free killed it. Great reaction! 🥰😍
I have missed your reactions to Home Free. Looking forward to your reaction to, When Will I Be Loved". As usual it is both a great cover and a wonderful video. However it is easy to get so caught up in the video that you forget to pay attention to the music and lyrics. They have also recently done a cover of the Dooby Brothers classic, Listen to the music. So many choices, to enjoy.
Thanks for that entertaining and informative reaction to this beautiful song. With your background, I think you would enjoy Austin’s rendition of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables (on his individual channel).
Austin has training in musical theater that gives him the ability to turn that twang off when he needs to. If you haven't heard his cover of Bring Him Home on his solo channel, you need to hear it. He also does amazing versions of Danny Boy, Unchained Melody, and At Last. Then there are Tim's Doo Wop solos where he lays down all the tracks himself. If you haven't heard those yet, check them out on his solo channel. They showcase his jaw-dropping range.
I love how Home Free keeps a lot of their video environments simple--allows the focus to be on their incredible acapella vocals. Just amazing harmonies! I loved Rascal Flatts' version but Home Free's is now my favorite❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
Have you heard their version of "End of the Road"? It's worth a listen! I love you watch your bright smile while you watch, your very good detailed comments!!
This diamond should be in your collection. Revelation (Mood Video, 2022) This song was the first completely original song by Diana Ankudinova, she herself wrote the lyrics and composed music. Several dozen reactions (total 130 reactions), all reactionaries are shocked once again, but now not only by Diana's voice, but also by a talent that can create not cheap one-time music, but hits for all time.
Yes, it has been a hot-minute since you last reacted to them, so welcome back. FYI Austen has released his cover of the Les Miz song Bring Him Home, which is amazing. Also, Adam Rupp and his vocal percussions are outstanding in the Home Free cover of the rock classic Listen To The Music. Hope to see you react to them.
You should also check out Tim's new solo album Pieces of me volume 1. Solo layered a capella songs he shows his full vocal range. Also Peter Hollens has an album of duets featuring Tim.
That was a beautiful reaction to Home Free !!! Would love to hear you react to Austin performing " Bring Him Home" It is on his solo channel on YT. Also Home Frees newest "Brother" is so much fun !!
Wow, wow, wow! First time seeing one of your videos. I love HF. And I don’t even like country music. But, they are changing me. Since they do so much more. You have sheer joy of their talent which I love. I’ve just seen them twice live, just in the last year, and their live performance is everything you would hope for and more. I will look for more of your reactions. You know what you are talking about!!
Please check out their original song 'Why Not'. Their slightly altered version of 'Travelin' Soldier' is freak'n amazing as well though that one (like the original) is a bit sad as well.
I like that you pick out some things that most other reactors ignore. For harmony, try there renditions of "In the Blood", "My Church", and "Do You Hear What I Hear". For a somewhat different video take, go see "Everybody Walkin' ". I could go on with a few dozen others, but my fingers are tired...
Yes I like all of these songs too. All very different. Well I think I like all their songs😁. The bass in Everybody walking this Land is brilliant. I love how they use their bass singers as soloists not just accompaniment. The arrangement of Do you hear what I hear was done by Adam Rupp & is beautiful and so complex...love it. Great reaction. I learn to listen better & hear the songs differently after hearing your analysis. I love how your initial reaction is similar to mine...how you just enjoy it so much - it's so obvious that you feel joyful hearing Home Free💕
Home Free is impressive, 100% acapella, 100% wonderful! - I am always glad to find another channel that reacts to their stuff. Liked and subscribed. I hope you will soon listen and react to their songs “Man of Constant Sorrow,” “Brothers in Arms,” “Mayday,” “One Man Band” “Butts Remix,” “End of the Road,” “Brother,” “Hillbilly Bone,” and “Elvira." Thanks for the reaction video!
First of all, thanks for your fine analysis. One of my pet peeves is most call Adam Rupp a "beat-boxer", which doesn't do him justice. He is truly, as you stated, a vocal percussionist. Anyone can make noise (so can Adam), but few can inmate the drum set to the point you sometimes forget he's there. That little vocal flip that Tim did at the end of the phrase is a typical electric bass run. Love This Group!! Rise up Home Fries!
I absolutely love your reviews/reactions! 🥰 I would love to hear you react to their song - Moonshine - it would be probably your first reaction...not that many people have seen it...don't really understand why...it is so good! Let's help them make that song more popular 🥰
Beautiful version but, for me anyway, the original by Rascal Flatts edges it....just! Had I not heard the original, I would think this was Home Free's song. Stunning arrangement and cinematography. Home Free are the full package.
I really hope 🤞🤞 you consider checking out a recently solo on his channel AUSTIN BROWN “BRING HIM HOME” from Les Miserables Would love to see your reaction, & analysis. It’s brought some Vocal coaches to tears 🤨 ✌️
I enjoy groups like Home Free as they rely on their voices and talent for their songs. Contrary to others who, while they can sing, rely on flashy productions and over orchestrations for a song.
Teach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drop what you're doing and get over to Austin's channel. Rob Lunquist and Austin Brown sing OPERA. Yes opera "Two COUNTRY singers try to sing OPERA." ---- Nessum Dorma.😆
I personally think this is one of the best country songs ever written. Home Free are definitely all pros, as you point out, but the lead singer of Rascal Flatts, Gary LeVox, is no slouch. I heard Rascal Flatts sing this on a clip from American Idol a couple years ago and he was soaring around in the stratosphere with those melismas. Great reaction as always, Bethany! Today I'm gonna recommend a newer artist named Lolli Wren. She just put out a cover of Radiohead's 15 Step that's filled with her layered voice in some of the tastiest chord voicings you ever heard. Oh, she's also a fellow vocal coach and reactor! Here's a link: ruclips.net/video/4M687ImCu6o/видео.html
Their cover of Brothers in Arms is absolutely amazing. If you haven't checked it out yet you should.
Most definitely. You need to check out Brothers In Arms. Also their cover of Brother. Two very different songs
Oh my goodness yes, their cover of Brother in Arms is stunningly good.
The arrangement doesn't work for me. One of very few of their covers that I didn't enjoy.
1:02 "Two things". LOL!!!! (Tim uses that to lead into many jokes at concerts).
Should check out home free-can’t fight the feeling.

He always adds delicate touch to the songs, and I love him for that.
I also love Rob’s voice -another cover where takes lead is the cover of Zac Brown Band’s “Colder Weather”. Just beautiful

Welcome back, see what you've been missing? Great reaction!
Please react to " Brothers In Arms " It's a true masterpiece!
My second time listening to you, and I’m in love with your smile! Thank you for being you!
Great reaction to another wonderful song by Home Free. If you want to hear something that will blow your mind, listen to Tim Foust's solo Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay. He shows that Adam Rupp is not the only "freak of nature" in the group.

Are all vocalists this attractive and relatable
Nice knowledgeable reaction...love this song of all the Home Free songs. The Gazebo and that lovely lake...with the cool sundial strokes...amazing video as well.
Rob's voice in this and Colder Weather is like an warm hug.... But gospel/ R&B Rob is amazing...
I really, really enjoy your reactions to and comments on Home Free! I get to see them live next month and your videos are helping to build my expectations. Thank you!
Home free my favourite group for vocals ❤❤❤❤❤
You crack me up...love it. Peace.

I liked and totally agree with Chris about brothers in arms! A club for five arrangement! But one of their absolute best lately is : listen to the music!
While I just love these men and appreciate their talent you have actually taught me what they're doing to sound so totally amazing. Thank you!
I will comment from an amateur point of view ;
it tastes like a children's poem that gives importance to rhyme.
This song is Beautiful 😃 Loved the reaction thank you for the reaction 😊👍🏻
Would love for you to analyze: "TWO COUNTRY SINGERS TRY SINGING OPERA", with Austin, and Rob from HOME FREE.
They are a multigenre group. Rob in particular is a chameleon. I like your analysis.
This is so gorgeous. I see that you just had to keep smiling. Me, too. I think it's impossible to hear their harmomies without
smiling.
Thank you for helping us appreciate the great nuances of this amazing musical masterpiece! 😊
Thank you for giving kudos to Chance who does a great job.! Double bass at the end.!
Second the Austin Brown suggestion. Great reaction! Thanks!
I loved your facial expressions during this reaction. 🙂
Your reactions are very insightful 😃 get to know a lot about the song through your reactions ☺️
Home Free never disappoints! Love your reaction!
Thanks for that entertaining and informative reaction to this beautiful song. With your background, I think you would enjoy Austin’s rendition of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables (on his individual channel).
Check out Helplessly Hoping it is epic
Helplessly hoping is another great one to hear some sweet sweet harmonies

Great reaction/analysis! New subscriber.
Love your hair cut/style.

Thans so much
That was a beautiful reaction to Home Free !!! Would love to hear you react to Austin performing " Bring Him Home" It is on his solo channel on YT. Also Home Frees newest "Brother" is so much fun !!

Did you notice the heartbeat sound right after you commented on Rob's singing and Tim's verse? Thanks for your input.
Fantastic review! I always leave your reviews loving music more than I already do, especially when it's my Home Free boys!
Adam Chance takes over the bass when Tim sings.
Great reaction! Your analysis is very thoughtful, and your smile is infectious!
so smart
Just subscribed because of this reaction. I learned a lot.
Please check out their original song 'Why Not'. Their slightly altered version of 'Travelin' Soldier' is freak'n amazing as well though that one (like the original) is a bit sad as well.
The doggy one has a happy ending. Or you could have gone with the new one Listen to the Music Doobie Brothers cover. Adam Rupp outdoes himself in it.

I love you reactions and heart great job I rec Geoff castelluchi cover of way down from Elvis
I hope you heard Adam Rupps sound of the heartbeat
I absolutely love your reviews/reactions! 🥰 I would love to hear you react to their song - Moonshine - it would be probably your first reaction...not that many people have seen it...don't really understand why...it is so good! Let's help them make that song more popular 🥰
Saw them in concert within last two weeks. I was disappointed not hearing their covers. Mostly all new stuff.
If you ask any of the group who the best singer is they all say Rob is.
Beautiful version but, for me anyway, the original by Rascal Flatts edges it....just! Had I not heard the original, I would think this was Home Free's song. Stunning arrangement and cinematography. Home Free are the full package.
Okay so now you have to react to Home Free - Ring of Fire (feat Avi, ex-Pentatonix base) !! Pleaseeee i know you need it ❤️
Hope you have Voctave - "Disney princess medley" on the list. That one is amazing.
You really should check out.
ADAM CHANCE (feat. The Hound + The Fox) Wayfaring Stranger. It's quite spectacular!
Darren Rust - might be the most important member of HF.
You should Austin and Rob do “Nessus Dorma”
Please please please please please do VOICEPLAY’s I can’t make you love me cover it’s so amazing
Seeing a few of your videos, I think you are ready for James Blunt - Monsters (original) will not disappoint.

It’s brought some Vocal coaches to tears 🤨
✌️
Rob & Austin’s “Nessun Dorma” please

I enjoy groups like Home Free as they rely on their voices and talent for their songs. Contrary to others who, while they can sing, rely on flashy productions and over orchestrations for a song.

And how 'bout the beat-boxer, Adam and Adam!!
Review the Ring of Fire...Beautiful Rendition.

you should try to Rascal flatts version of the song
I think Tim and Chance overlap the bass quite a bit these days, sometimes hard to differentiate.
Pls listen duet from Afgan ft Sivia Sings One Sweet Day
What do you Home Fries say?
Should she watch the one where it shows off Chance's BASS!
You should react to Zombies vs. Hillbillies - Survivor (VoicePlay vs. Home Free)
Please react Vanny Vabiola - I Will Always Love You (Cover)
Thanks btw, i really really like ur reaction.
PLEASE REACT TO GIGI DE LANA COVER OF SAVING ALL MY LOVE FOR YOU BY WHITNEY HOUSTON...THANKS A LOT BETH!!
