lol i wish this was a month ago! i finished the wildrose market bag and it was the first pattern i have read. was definitely confused at the beginning! but the bag is beautiful, thank you for your work!
Oh wow that’s amazing how it was the first pattern you read - great job!!! Thanks for your wonderful encouragement! I’m so happy to hear that you finished the market bag!
I was giving myself fits trying to read the pattern (I'm a beginner crocheter and not a very good pattern reader). This video so well explains how and why the pattern is the way it is. Thank so very much for the video!
LOVE this video. Your bags are beautiful and I am trying to help teach a woman to crochet. She prefers videos and your demonstration is wonderful. Thank you.
This is my second video I am following and crocheting while watching it. You explain so well that even a beginner (me) can follow you. From the first video I made two bags. They are beautiful. I only added a drawstring bag inside. Do you always use 24/7 cotton yarn. Thank you for the class in crocheting.🥰
Thank you sooo much for following my videos and for your wonderful feedback 🥰 I’m so glad you found my explanations easy to understand! Yes I love using 24/7 Cotton for my bags since it is such a strong 100% mercerized cotton. I find that it does not stretch or fuzz up too easily!
I have a quick video showing how to do the slip stitch seaming in my Instagram highlight called “Shoulder Bag” - I will probably try and upload it as an IGTV video too. I don’t have a video showing the straps but it’s pretty straight forward with all single crochets and slip stitches, and I have plenty of pictures in my pattern/tutorial blog posts!
I am struggling with the strap part! I can’t figure out if I’m attaching it correctly. When you say to slip stitch to the wrong side of the bag, do you mean the inside of the bag? I feel like I keep getting it twisted no matter what I do.
Are you from Alberta, Canada? I saw you had an Alberta pin in one of your shorts and now I see you have the wildrose granny square bags. I grew up there, so I’m just curious if that’s where you’re from. 🤗
Yes I’m from Alberta! That’s neat how you grew up here ❤️ You have sharp eyes since you spotted the pin! And yes I named the “Wildrose” series because of our provincial flower 🥰
I blocked my final squares to smooth them out and flatten the stitches. If you find that it’s cupping quite a bit, you can also use a larger hook size to reduce the tightness!
You might not care when you see this I’m a visual learner could you please please please make a a video on the famous tiktok elephant made from your lovely pattern I just don’t understand the written pattern I really really want to make your elephant 😭❤️ please
Hi Courtney! I’ve seen some people who have lined the market bag with beautiful fabric! I personally use a bag organizer insert that I can just slip inside - it instantly adds zipper closure and many compartments! I have the link to the organizer in the blog post (I use the large size for the market bag and the small size for the shoulder bag & backpack)!
I saw your lil bear TikTok on yt and I found it so cute😩 I don't have a tiktok but I was wondering how you got that puffy fluffy pompom effect hahaha I don't know the name for it😅
I bought the pattern but I'm so glad that you made a video with instructions 😍 with the pattern.. Is so much easier 💯😁

Thank you! Realised I haven’t been doing my ending slip stitches the right way 😬

Hello! Silly question, but I get rounded corners once I start the corners, and it is a bit smaller than yours. Should I use a bigger hook?
The colored one is beautiful!! Which yarn and colors did you use please? Thank you!
Thanks so much! I used 24/7 Cotton in Goldenrod, Ecru & Tangerine for the colourful square 🧶
Do you have a video on how to assemble/sew granny squares & do the straps for the wild rose shoulder bag?

@@moffe3 yes that’s right! The wrong side of the bag would be the inside of the bag (right side = outside of the bag)!

Can you teach me how to make Chinese New Year sheep?? I saw it in your post in pinterest , please :"333
El bolso color beige feria tan amable de enseñarnos re lindo. Todo gracias
🥰❤️🌼
Up to row 4 the pattern is very tight and cupped. Does it smooth out by itself?

Can you tell me the 24/7 colors used in three color variation square?
Definitely! For that square I used Ecru, Goldenrod & Tangerine 🧶
I’m currently making these to make a tote bag (i love them thank you for posting a pattern), did you line the bags?

Can you please make the pig pattern?
Muy bonitos pero por favor traducir a español 🎉
Thanks so much! I’m not sure how to add translations!
The Round 3 "clusters" are a cluster of 3 double crochets.
Clusters are dc2tog or dc2tog. Doing only dc 3 times will make the pattern flat and lose the puff effect.
me waiting for the person who says the crochet pattern 😐
This granny square is used for the “Wildrose Backpack” and “Wildrose Market Bag” 🩷
@@AllAboutAmiBlog ohh okk 👍 👍
