    I was giving myself fits trying to read the pattern (I'm a beginner crocheter and not a very good pattern reader). This video so well explains how and why the pattern is the way it is. Thank so very much for the video!

    This is my second video I am following and crocheting while watching it. You explain so well that even a beginner (me) can follow you. From the first video I made two bags. They are beautiful. I only added a drawstring bag inside. Do you always use 24/7 cotton yarn. Thank you for the class in crocheting.🥰

      Thank you sooo much for following my videos and for your wonderful feedback 🥰 I’m so glad you found my explanations easy to understand! Yes I love using 24/7 Cotton for my bags since it is such a strong 100% mercerized cotton. I find that it does not stretch or fuzz up too easily!

    Hello! Silly question, but I get rounded corners once I start the corners, and it is a bit smaller than yours. Should I use a bigger hook?

    Do you have a video on how to assemble/sew granny squares & do the straps for the wild rose shoulder bag?

    • @AllAboutAmiBlog
      @AllAboutAmiBlog  3 года назад +3

      I have a quick video showing how to do the slip stitch seaming in my Instagram highlight called “Shoulder Bag” - I will probably try and upload it as an IGTV video too. I don’t have a video showing the straps but it’s pretty straight forward with all single crochets and slip stitches, and I have plenty of pictures in my pattern/tutorial blog posts!

    • @moffe3
      @moffe3 3 года назад +1

      I am struggling with the strap part! I can’t figure out if I’m attaching it correctly. When you say to slip stitch to the wrong side of the bag, do you mean the inside of the bag? I feel like I keep getting it twisted no matter what I do.

    • @AllAboutAmiBlog
      @AllAboutAmiBlog  3 года назад +1

      @@moffe3 yes that’s right! The wrong side of the bag would be the inside of the bag (right side = outside of the bag)!

    Are you from Alberta, Canada? I saw you had an Alberta pin in one of your shorts and now I see you have the wildrose granny square bags. I grew up there, so I’m just curious if that’s where you’re from. 🤗

    • @AllAboutAmiBlog
      @AllAboutAmiBlog  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes I’m from Alberta! That’s neat how you grew up here ❤️ You have sharp eyes since you spotted the pin! And yes I named the “Wildrose” series because of our provincial flower 🥰

    Up to row 4 the pattern is very tight and cupped. Does it smooth out by itself?

    • @AllAboutAmiBlog
      @AllAboutAmiBlog  Год назад +1

      I blocked my final squares to smooth them out and flatten the stitches. If you find that it’s cupping quite a bit, you can also use a larger hook size to reduce the tightness!

    I’m currently making these to make a tote bag (i love them thank you for posting a pattern), did you line the bags?

    • @AllAboutAmiBlog
      @AllAboutAmiBlog  3 года назад +1

      Hi Courtney! I’ve seen some people who have lined the market bag with beautiful fabric! I personally use a bag organizer insert that I can just slip inside - it instantly adds zipper closure and many compartments! I have the link to the organizer in the blog post (I use the large size for the market bag and the small size for the shoulder bag & backpack)!

    The Round 3 "clusters" are a cluster of 3 double crochets.

    • @MicksMom365
      @MicksMom365 2 месяца назад

      Clusters are dc2tog or dc2tog. Doing only dc 3 times will make the pattern flat and lose the puff effect.
