Great video Belinda. I think the body shop pioneered body butters and is well-loved by consumers at such a reasonable price. It just hits all the marks. In my opinion, new brands need to be innovative and come up with their own very unique product instead of copying what is already available and making a few changes. It is very challenging but if you succeed your brand will be known for it. It's time to leave behind body butters and scrubs and be creative. I'm still trying to find mine which is why I'm not quick to start my own brand just yet.
Thanks Belinda I am a active member.💞 you are so right my brand is a classic example, I try stay as Renewable, Biodegradable, Green as possible, I have a unique story, use some active ingredients same as top of the range skin care products which cost a fortune, my ingredient listing is much shorter and price point much lower, But without Marketing I am not successful and marketing do not come cheap. I learn from you everyday and working on my brand this is my Passion and I will never give it up. 🤗
I really appreciate these informative videos, since as a new small business, I can't afford enrolling in your online school. I spent all my money on inventory! (LOL). I appreciate your generosity in making these available to people like me!

Hi by Shea Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub, why Linalool is listed before the Tocopherol etc. etc. I though, that allergens must be listed at the end of the INCI list...What is the different between Sodium Chloride and Maris Sal? Why they can call the product "Sugar Body Scrub"? In INCI list Sodium Chloride and Maris Sal are before the Sucrose.....? 🤗🦋
You can list allergens at the end or at their input % . Perhaps they meant to put maris sal in brackets eg sodium chloride (maris sal) - just because it contains salt doesn’t mean they need to claim it is in there, it contains sugar too. This comes down to marketing and brand decisions, and would still be compliant. The body shop is making extremely bold claims just to prevent smaller companies to enter the space and having the cake all by themselves, their ingredients are there for us all to purchase even if we by it all one at a time, don't dishearten smaller and or start up brands.
