- The long awaited sequel to a stolen idea. Hold on to your butts, as I count the many, MANY, people slain in the logistical nightmare of a city-scale prison that Batman must shut down. Once again, happy 10th anniversary to my favorite game of all time, Batman: Arkham City, and let's get counting!
I cannot stress how difficult this count was, and that I could very easily have missed someone. Please don't be a jerk about it, and just politely point out if I missed something, okay? Also, thanks for 8,000 subs!

Fun fact: The guard that penguin kills with his umbrella gun in the cutscene is actually the same guard that's with batman when the elevator falls on him in asylum

@@fresh10 that was cuz nearly everyone looked and sounded the same except Aaron Cash, Officer North who you also meet, Gordon and some others.
William North, the guy who you talk to after seeing Boles' dead body is in the first Riddle Room you do, _after_ you get the Enigma Machine. He seems to have put on lots of muscle since asylum.
@@Frogman1212 yeah that North. I forgot his first name and also, it was either the uniform he was wearing or he put some grade A beef on him. I also apologized to him for knocking him out in Asylum and yes, you do fight him when you head back to the gardens to fight Ivy.

Grundy actually DOESNT die. In Arkham Knight a riddler story talks about him coming back. Good call on not counting him.

Hey man you forgot 6 : In Zsasz's hideout , there is a dead poltical prisoner in the water
Also in the courtroom Calndar Man is sitting in a cell , and if you set your console to 12 holiday dates and talk to him , if you return to him again , you will find 1 Two Face thug hanged
In Riddler's hideout , he has a list of his hostages that he has in his hideout , 2 of them had their heads blown up
EDIT : There are two I forgot , If you return to the museum after Ra's al Ghul , there are thugs said that one thug named Jimmy died by Tiny
When you enter Wonder City for the first , there are Joker thugs said that one member , named Johnny K , killed either by Croc or the Assasins

Also at the beginning of the game outside the courthouse, a conversation will happen between the thugs standing outside and they’ll mention how a guy named Baille got cut in half by Two-Face

You were right about Clayface not being dead. Apparently the GCPD trapped him in some kind of vial and he was stuck in there for the rest of his life.

Actually Zsasz did kill someone in his side mission… If you look in his hideout with detective mode he threw one of his hostages into the water and they drowned…
I think you forgot the ones that die to Ivy's plants at her flower shop.
I think it makes sense that penguin would have more bodies in the museum since joker just sends people to the smelting chamber where their bodies are burnt rather than kept around.
And I think I know what happened with the cops in the museum. We know 1 was killed and 7 were saved with the last 2 on the iceberg. While saving the first 8, you hear penguin torturing one cop and breaking his hand once it's encased in ice. I'd assume he survives but then we don't see him again as he goes somewhere to get treated. The as you show, the second of those cops is slashed by the ninja as she leaves, with him surviving too.
Good job on how much work went into this, and happy 10 years of greatness.
There were a couple you missed, since they always stuck out in my mind. During the introduction to Zsasz’s sidequest, he mentions having three hostages, but when you save them, he only has two. You can find the third in the water with detective vision, which always made me wonder when he died. Then if you complete Calendar Man’s holidays, he escapes leaving a dead Two-Face goon in his place. Aside from that, great work, I never would have had the patience to count everyone you could find during Protocol 10.
I think the little rooms on the edge of the map are so Tyger guards can enter arkham city without alerting everyone incase of emergencies

Dang, this is how much ClownPuncher cares about this series, he will count ALL of protocol 10. THAT is serious dedication.
Just want to draw your attention to something. In arkham knight, when you visit the elliot memorial hospital during the said dlc, check the morgue thoroughly. I saw talia's name there. And guess what? Her place was empty! I think she is not dead. (I used detective vision to check whether there was a body or not
. Turns out there wasn't any.)

Forgot about 2 that near Strange's Vault, there is an Ivy flower shop and during a moment in history 2 Two-Face henchmen are killed

@@bonjourphoenix7487 no, I’m pretty sure he said it’s because it works better with the algorithm, besides: James has said that he is completely fine with others doing Kill Counts, that many did it before him and he was almost encouraging it. And the algorithm doesn’t really matter when you have what I would say is a midrange channel like Dead Meat but it matters a whole lot more when you are a comparatively tiny gaming channel.

Little correction: Zsasz DOES have a body in his hideout.
He had 3 victims snd when you confront him he only has two. Scan the area, and you'll find a dead body in the waters.

Just wanted to say thanks as per usually for making these, and that Clayface definitely isn’t dead, based on the living tissue sample that the GCPD shows off in Knight
In my first playthrough, I murdered one of the Tyler guards directly by dropping him off the tower after I glitched my way into preforming an inverted takedown.
This was an awesome video to watch. Definetely worth the wait. I applaud your patience with counting the bodies during protocol 10, and also the piles of them... Happy 10th anniversary of this amazing game, that I still learn things about to this day, surprisingly.

Batman's no kill rule only applies to natural sentient beings. Things that could be described as people such as humans or sentient aliens.
It does not apply to supernatural creatures such as the undead or even animals if they force his hand.
Batman regularly kills undead creatures when he encounters them and see Batman: Mad Monk for reference on the animal thing or The Penguin Affair (im pretty sure he kills some birds in a flock in that one. Both pre-New 52 canon)
"Killing" Grundy means nothing to him.
He has killed sentient robots and aliens before and vampires
Each time I see your videos and play the games I discover something new. I didn't make idea that thugs hide from the helicopters in Protocol 10. This idea came in my head but I was too lazy to found these guys

In Arkham VR, I’m pretty sure it says one of the numerous crimes he’s committed is cannibalism, so he has eaten a person or maybe multiple people at some point and probably wouldn’t hesitate to do it if needed, but he definitely doesn’t do it regularly.

They most likely would have, but in the cutscene right after the funhouse fight, their bodies all disappear, so we don’t know what happened to them.

When you’re heading to the Museum after exiting the GCPD, outside the courthouse, there are some Joker thugs asking some Two-Face thugs where Two-Face went. There are two of their comrades dead beside them, and on the street behind the Joker thugs, there are three more dead ones. Also, by the fenced off bit that restricts other inmates from getting near the courthouse, (the bit right by the riddler trophy) there are two more dead Two-Face thugs in front of it.

in arkham knight there's some concept art that shows panessa studios, that features clayface, so good call on not adding him to the count (i know concept art isnt cannon but it means rocksteady at least considered bring him back for knight)

In the Arkham City character files, it says Grundy can't be truly killed, so yeah I'd say it doesn't count
You said that you were going to do Arkham origins and then Arkham Knight on the slay sum but I guess we are going to have to wait for does videos. And the same goes for everything wrong with Arkham origins and Arkham Asylum but we will wait for when the time comes ok.
Somehow I feel like the Lazarus pit actually dissolved Clayface...
2:51 We know that Joker wasn't resuscitated with a defibrillator because in the flashback later on we see him start to get up as soon as Batman gets gassed by Clayface. In all likelihood, Joker didn't actually flatline here, and the trick was probably achieved by the heart monitor simply not being connected to Joker properly. You shouldn't have counted this as a death.
But Batman also looks at him in Detective Mode, which also says deceased with a flatline. Detective Mode is never wrong about a flatline. That flashback likely isn’t a flashback, since it also shows the mirror Joker in the funhouse not turning around when we know he did in the original scene. That “flashback” is more than likely a fabrication Batman is putting together in his head to show us that there were two Jokers.

With how many bodies are there during P10, I wonder how many are in Knight once the fear cloud is gone. I’ve seen over 20 bodies on Miagani especially around Wayne Tower but I haven’t seen any around Founders
The reason that Joker has less bodies is because he isn't around as much to keep up the thought that he is no longer ill

I'd count Grundy considering he's just cursed to die and come back forever. And since he's just a monster at this point, I'm sure Batman can make an exception. After all, it's not like he can tell Grundy to stop coming back or else.
I can’t believe joker is more dangerous than strange and penguin ever was. if you make a Slay sum For origins the hotel , blackgate , and bank are littered with bodies but their are prob less bodies than in asylum and even city. But just an estimate. Also if I had to rank the Arkham games for the Xbox 360. Gameplay #1 city #2 origins #3 asylum. Story #1 origins #2 city #3 asylum. Side missions #1 origins #2 city #3 asylum (I’m only putting asylum last because of joker teeth that are in Arkham manor hidden ceiling) and overall character and environment design #1 asylum #2 origins and #3 city.

Just saying in my opinion but i think batman knows regardless that if he "kills" grundy he will always come back no matter what he does but with raysh he knows that he will intentionally not bring himself back as batman would of replaced him as the demons head.

They're copyrighted, but a lot more lenient. I just have to dispute the claims, and wait 30 days for someone to respond. Nobody ever does, so the claim is dropped.

Technically you did miss a body by not play Zasz’s side mission because there’s a body in his hideout. As well as there being at least 1 confirmed death cause by the collapse in jokers fun house found out when you return to the managers office after the end of the game your hear about a thugs buddy being pulled out of the rubble.
