We loved cycling around Rotterdam and our favourite place was probably The ‘Markthal’ (Market Hall) - being a foodie, this place definitely hit the spot haha, and the architecture is very aesthetically pleasing too!

You are so brave for cycling in Amsterdam. I moved here a year ago and am sometimes still afraid to venture into the center on my bike. Tourists, cars, scooters and other cyclists - sensory overload!
Note that the Dutch become murderous monsters once on a bike. They will run over any pedestrian daring to venture on their sacred cycling path. And there are many cycling paths and even more bikers.

Thank you soooo much!! The renaissance hotel we stayed at in the middle of our trip was extremely accessible to everything but I don’t think it was that affordable. If you find an affordable hotel inside Amsterdam, I don’t think you can go wrong with accessibility. Most things are within walking or biking distance of each other. Hope that helps! Looking back, I don’t think we were adventurous enough with food so we didn’t prioritize finding restaurants or trying more of the local foods Amsterdam is known for, which I regret. That being said, I know others who had great culinary experiences in Amsterdam!
since no body make a comment on your love for tiny cars, most of them are a single disabled person vehicle. kind of luxury electric wheelchair. they are allowed on bike path and park anywhere, has a max of 30 or 45 km/h. but I also saw also some "modern" versions. those could be 2 person tiny cars. I’m curious about something you said…I recall you saying that the Netherlands was quite relaxed in allowing tourists to enter the country, like they didn’t even check your vaccination cards. Could you go into a bit more details about that? The Netherlands is one of my dream travel destinations but their government’s websites all seem to say that there’s an entry ban for US travelers 😩 or am I misunderstanding what the entry ban and travel restrictions are? Oh thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the vlog! Yeah it was super easy for us to travel there. We went in the beginning of April so I’m not sure if anything has changed. We did have to get a covid test to return to the US, but I don’t recall having to do anything special to enter the Netherlands
@Jenn, I don't know what you read, but we don't have any restriction here any more (unless corona explode again). it's the airline that has more restriction. My cousin last week needed a booster shot on the spot, otherwise delta airline would not allow him. No negative check, but prob. you need mask during the trip

Thanks so much! We were there April 1-8. The weather was abnormally cold. The iamsterdam card is 100% worth it. Amazing value and let’s you check out lots of places without worrying about if the individual places will be worth it.

Your video was enlightening just based on the breadth of activities you tried during your visit. I am curious about your culinary experience. It seems like that was a somewhat mixed-bag, unless I interpreted things incorrectly. Can you tell me how you’d rate that part of your experience overall?
Thanks so much Jamal!! Definitely see the tulips! Yeah our culinary experience was a mixed bag for sure. Looking back, I don’t think we were adventurous enough with food so we didn’t prioritize finding restaurants or trying more of the local foods Amsterdam is known for, which I regret. That being said, I know others who had great culinary experiences in Amsterdam!
since no body make a comment on your love for tiny cars, most of them are a single disabled person vehicle. kind of luxury electric wheelchair. they are allowed on bike path and park anywhere, has a max of 30 or 45 km/h. but I also saw also some "modern" versions. those could be 2 person tiny cars. Hey, this is Amsterdam (anything is possible). In that case, they are equal to cars.

I love watching travel vlogs in the Netherlands! I was living vicariously through you! 😅Absolutely loved it! I’m curious about something you said…I recall you saying that the Netherlands was quite relaxed in allowing tourists to enter the country, like they didn’t even check your vaccination cards. Could you go into a bit more details about that? The Netherlands is one of my dream travel destinations but their government’s websites all seem to say that there’s an entry ban for US travelers 😩 or am I misunderstanding what the entry ban and travel restrictions are? I’d love to know more please. Thank you!
Oh thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the vlog! Yeah it was super easy for us to travel there. We went in the beginning of April so I’m not sure if anything has changed. We did have to get a covid test to return to the US, but I don’t recall having to do anything special to enter the Netherlands
@Jenn, I don't know what you read, but we don't have any restriction here any more (unless corona explode again). it's the airline that has more restriction. My cousin last week needed a booster shot on the spot, otherwise delta airline would not allow him. No negative check, but prob. you need mask during the trip
