- Damn, we loved Amsterdam SO MUCH.
Amsterdam - known well for its pretty liberal attitude towards leisurely activities and 👌🏼👈🏼, but we weren't there for that, we built a vast map of everywhere that we wanted to visit and packed in as much as humanly possible into 48 hours before we lost our amsterDAM minds.

Covered 21 places within a 12 min video....very efficient
Really like the herring from rob wigboldus... not too fishy
Thanks John Tan
the music, the camera men, but especially the personality in front of the camera just works. I've been sleeping on this one, subbed.
Love how you manage to capture the weather perfectly. Rain rain rain- sun shine - Thunder storm- More sun shine
I’m dutch and in Amsterdam very often, never heard of most of your hot spots but they look amazing, how could I have missed them!
Great thing about Amsterdam, so much shit you haven’t had before while you been there many times
Haha same
Ik wilde precies hetzelfde zeggen.. Ik woon bijna twee jaar in Amsterdam en ken bijna geen van deze plekken :O
Going to be in amsterdam in December, any recommendation what to eat?
That's because they are the regular touristy places/
Born and raised in Amsterdam and when I saw Cafe de Klos I knew you guys had done your research. Good job on most of the things, I also bring my international friends to de Klos for spare ribs, Winkel for apple pie and Albert Cuyp Market for the stroopwafels. Though I missed anything outside the city center, like the East side or North. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE and wayyyy less touristy.
This was amazing! The filming and editing was WOWWW. I can see the hard work you fellas put into this. Love!
Big up to Rob our editor on this!
TOPJAW 👍🏻
Dude you've missed the poffertjes!
They're really hard to find in Amsterdam actually.
We didn't really come across these. Where are the best poffertjes in Amsterdam?
@@topjaw on the Albert Cuyp market as well, where you bought the stroopwafel
@@topjaw I make the best poffertjes. 🍪
@@zlittledevil87 you can find them in the albert cyup market !
great video. great editing as well, you definately put a lot of work in that!
Thanks Robin B. Your comments are much appreciated.
thanks! keep up the good work!
The quality of these videos improves every time. Could easily be watching a Netflix doc 👏
Also, love that you've listed all the places in the description. Makes it a lot easier to add them to my travel plans!
Keep up the good work boys.
Olivia B Netflix is the dream! Thanks Olivia
Love the travel vids! Amsterdam is such a beautiful city, *the beauty* of the city is definitely underrated. It’s more than a party spot.
SO MUCH MORE! We always forget how beautiful it is - especially when the sun is out.
Underrated....??? We have 18 million tourists every year in Amsterdam.
Frank van der Zijden I obviously don’t mean “underrated” in the number of tourists, I mean “underrated” in the appreciation of its beauty. Hence why I said “it’s more than a party spot.” Most people don’t visit Amsterdam because it has a reputation for being beautiful. They visit it because it has a reputation for weed, partying, and prostitution.
@@TheMircakes I used to do the tourisme education. And really that is what people think but most people don't come for the weed, hoes and such. The canals was one of the most visit things that tourists would do. Off course also party and all those things . But it is far lower ranked than you actually think.
Mayra My experience is the opposite. When people who’ve never been to Amsterdam talk about Amsterdam, they talk about weed and the red light district. When I first went, most people reacted with “Oh, you’re going so you can legally smoke weed, right?” Or, “Make sure you visit the red light district!”
Amsterdam does not have a reputation around the world for being a beautiful city. My point is that it SHOULD have that reputation, but it doesn’t. It has a reputation around the world for weed, prostitutes, and yes, lots of canals. But it does not have a reputation for being beautiful. The beauty of Amsterdam is simply underrated.
Only just started subscribing to this channel and I love it so much!! You guys are always on a food trip! I’ve been binge watching these all day haha
Thank you for this highly fun, extremely engaging video. Wonderful crisp images of the food and the city. (Bet you have some nice video equipment). I watched it twice, learned lots and took notes. You have no idea how excited I felt and appreciative of the list provided in the description of places you visited including the addresses. You went the extra mile!!! I love your channel!
M Williams Sorry for the very late reply but only just spotted your comments. So thanks for that. If you scroll up to the 48 hours title, there is a 🔽 on the righthand side. Click on this and it gives info on the video including Wills photographic equipment. Cheers
I’m from Amsterdam and I think you guys did a great job at capturing the city! Never felt a vid like this was as spot on.
Thanks Dilara Horuz. That’s great to hear. Glad you enjoyed it.
What? You’re definitely not from amsterdam, all the places he visited are massively touristic and not places where people from amsterdam go to
you deserve so much followers man : your content is absolutely perfect ! Keep going !
Love from France
The production quality is top notch, but they are obsessed by themselves. Notice the ratio of screen time of food vs his own face.
Content? It's one ongoing commercial for local businesses, nothing more.
@@jhcfight Why so much hate ?
I really appreciate their content, if you don't that's not my problem. Don't try to argue on this, I like it, you don't : ok, but I didn't ask for your jugement.
I don't understand why people still try to lower the appreciations of other people on things they don't like
Robin T. Many thanks for your support. Much appreciated
I really enjoyed this insight into Amsterdam. It's always been a stop over rather than a destination, so I'm keen to properly explore it next time. Thanks topjaw!!
Also, couldn't we see some slightly longer videos? Really loving the content ! Cheers from South Africa!
Nadia M Nadia M Glad you enjoyed the video and that it’s inspired you to see more of Amsterdam. Sorry you think they’re a bit short. Have you seen our others?

OMG in love with the 48 hours series! BINGE watching them ALL!!! keep them coming
Been here six months and now added a few new places to check out. Well researched and excellently produced dudes! New sub :)

Best Amsterdam travel video on RUclips! Good music, super editing and epic presentation! Keep it up guys!
I love the quality, filming style and just the over all high end feel of the video!! Great Job Guys! Hope you all win over the online world-of-travel with these kind of video's. Kisses from the Netherlands
Vera van Nielen. Brilliant comments - thank you. Kisses to you all in the Netherlands too 😘😘😘
There is a Spanish saying guys..." cuando tenia las respuestas, me cambiaron todas las preguntas" meaning when I had it fully resolved, all questions were changed 😄 and it is pretty much what you did dude! Excellent inviting review, too many absolute must-sees in Amsterdam! Getting there in about two mos! Gracias!!!
this video is going through everything so fast, it's not bad it's not good either, because some of the people like me enjoying when someone describes something in details (but not that much). so, I can feel that I'm there as well. the quality of this video is very good. good job.
I love your passion for food. Matches my own enthusiasm. FOOD FOR LIFE
Wonderful video guys! I'm impressed at how you manage to scarf down so much food! It all looks SO good!
Takes lots of running afterwards to work it off haha
I was in Amsterdam for 5 days and I watched your video before hand and decided to go to Mr. Stacks. It was friggin' amazing. Thanks guys for the recommendation. I still dream about those pancakes.
As a resident of Amsterdam I have to say this video is KILLER! You went to all the places I take my tourist friends. One thing - you missed the Bakers and Roasters carrot cake. It’s to die for!!! But amazing video. Hope you guys come back again because there’s so much more that AMS has to offer!!
Thanks Brooklyn, positive comments from locals mean a lot!
I got some pretty good info from this video. It was really helpful on my recent trip to Amsterdam. Thanks 🙏
Just discovered your channel and your videos are amazing! How do you not have millions of subscribers already? With this level of production, your channel will definitely go big. Keep up the good work, looking forward to upcoming videos!

Only place I would add is Waterkant. Bar that you can also boat up to on nassaukade and has sun all day. Love it!
Thanks Lise. Waterkant sounds good. We’ll have to check it out next visit.

I'm amazed you guys don't have more subscribers. This is A+ content and editing.
Thanks Orange M
You guys actually tried 2 authentic Dutch cuisines. The bitterballen and the Van Staple Cookie. The Dutch invented the cookie and we get the English word from them (koekje)
Very glad to have found this channel. The contents are amazing!
Just got this video recommended. How do you not have more subscribers? This is such a stunning production, insanely well made. You've gained a new subscriber for sure!

Hows the food in Amsterdam?
@@horseplop9 foreign! Haha. We get access to lots of stuff from around Europe and the rest of the world (presumably thanks to the country's colonial history). Huge fan of Dutch originals like bitterballen though
@ Sounds delicious i heard there was alot of Indonesian foods and Salmon . Can't wait to go back. its been too long
This was the most non-Dutch food tour in The Netherlands 😂
Awww man this video was absolutely superb! From the footage, to the educational and entertaining content, to the killer editing! We are always floored by each video and love what you guys produce! Can't wait to see the next video featuring LA! If you ever find yourself on the East Coast, you should totally do 48 hours in NYC! Would love to see your take on the city we call home. :)
Hi Preston & Krista. Thanks so much for such positive feedback. We work really hard on all aspects of producing these videos and it’s so worthwhile when we receive comments like yours. We love NY and it’s definitely high on our list of places to visit. LA on its way soon.
@@topjaw We've just started on the journey of learning to produce videos--that can hopefully one day be as entertaining and informative as yours--so we're understanding more and more the immense amount of work that goes into a production like yours! And of course, have to give love and praise where it's due!! Can't wait for that future NYC video when you get here! Also, we ourselves are way overdue for a trip back to London (after living there for 2 years) and watching your London videos have us itching to go back and see how much it's changed since. Yeah we've heard good things about Rotterdam!
@@topjaw Yessss I'm from Rotterdam and it has so much to offer foodwise! (and of course many other things haha)
I'm from the Netherlands and honestly I don't like Rotterdam. In my opinion it has a grim vibe and it doesn't look pretty. You'll really need to do your research in order to find nice places there.
Eindhoven
Rotterdam is not grim at all. It is the coolest city in the Netherlands ❤️
As someone who lives and was born and raised in Amsterdam, you’ve for sure ticked off some of my favourite spots, good job guys!
P this is a perfect timing! Please advise me some, I’m coming in July(also gonna spend a few days in Haarlem)🌹
Anna Vovkiv sure! The best dutch apple pie is at Winkel 43, maybe it’s fun to go there on a saturday, then the farmers market is just across the street from Winkel 43, on the farmers market, if you walk to the other street, fresh Stroopwafels are made. The pizzeria La Perla is in the neighbourhood which is my favourite restaurant. A cafe I love, (that’s also in the neighbourhood) is Spanjer en van Twist, you can also get bitterballen there. Also the bakery Lanskroon is lovely:). Hope I helped you! If you have more questions tell me😊
P wow thanks a lot! there are so many amazing places, I’m sure this vacation will be awesome:)
Thanks P Glad we’ve hit it right
I was there last weekend and I swear I have never eaten so much in such a short period of time! The food is out of this world and the people are just amazing! Defo worth a repeat visit. Rotterdam is next on my list though.

It is not love it is the marijuana in the cakes you ate at that Amsterdam coffee shop! It is very hallucinogenic. In real life he is an unwashed 300 pound man with missing teeth...
@@danielkim7841 what...
@@tutyhasbi9032 it was a joke. In real life people can see he is an aesthetically pleasing man. The joke is that in Holland they consume edible foods made with marijuana like marijuana cakes, and that is why the attractive host looks attractive when he is a actually a 300 pound man
No one’s going to talk about how weird it is that they didnt even mention weed

Jammer dat waarschijnlijk bijna al deze locaties overladen worden met toeristen.. Doe mij maar de wat meer de low key restaurantjes buiten het centrum die niet door iedereen op Social media gehyped worden ;)
So this is why locals escape the city, haha... Complete tourist overload... but ya bring in tha money :P
Nadina Rama Jup 😏
Idk why all tourists just go to obvious places in Amsterdam only. IMO (which isn't really something lol) the best places in the NL are actually outside of Amsterdam!! People usually make it like Amsterdam's the only place in the Netherlands and that's the main reason that may cause the city to become a new "Venice", sadly.
@@michel8527 I've been to hague or haag and the park is even more beautiful there
@@depressedcockroach4045 So true!! Den haag is full of beautiful places too
@Daan Made in Holland What about all of the south region (The old cathedrals of Den Bosch, The churches and the cheese market in Gouda, the city of Maastricht, etc)? or the regions of the north (the Martini tour and the museum of Groningen, ...)? Or the beautiful beaches in Texel? Or the national park De Hoge Veluwe?
I can keep counting beauties like these but I think that I've made my point.

This is amazing! I'm returning to Amsterdam in two weeks for 5 days and there's just so much to do!
monieo555. Good timing 👍
People forget that the city isn't a theme park and it has almost the same amount of tourists as Paris despite being 1/10th the size. Not to mention most tourists from "a certain country" are the absolute trash of humanity, so it's a relief to see that tourists like you exist. Keep it Up!!
Which country is that?
I wish more tourists that come to Amsterdam were like this haha most come here just to drink and smoke...
I love traveling and seeing new places, but have to say Amsterdam is my home away from home. There is so much to do. Going on a solo trip for 8 days this September. I smoke yes, but to me that is just a bonus. I would go to the Netherlands even if it wasn't allowed. I actually won't be staying in Amsterdam much, just using it as a home base to see other places like Rotterdam, Delft, the Hague, Leiden, Zaans Schaanz, maybe hope over to Cologne Germany for a day via train. Btw I'm surprised they didn't stop by De Hollen or the Food Hall that's in the Jordaan. Lot's of different international vendors with freshly made food there. Very cool to go
Great video! I was so sad to have missed out on Amsterdam during my European backpack trip so I will have to visit one day and this video made me so hungry!!
