      I'd probably just start doing weird shit like magic tricks or pretending to eat pennies or something. Sidenote: I always carry a pack of cards on me just in case something like this ever happens to me (it's slightly sad how much I'm actually not joking right now. I really do that), and I've either been edited out of every local news shot I've been able to get behind, or been asked to leave by one of the staff there. I've literally fucked with every camera I've ever been in front of to the point where it's almost become a hobby at this point.

    If they want to eliminate fan interference they have to make all seats unreachable into fair territory. Seats are way too close if the fans can reach over to interfere with catching a ball. When the excitement and emotions take over it is too difficult to control yourself if a ball is hit within your reach. For some fans this is their only chance. It's different if they jump a fence or run on the field. That is not a baseball fan.

    • @lunv1888
      @lunv1888 5 лет назад +19

      @@gtcrain3687 it's not part if the game. That's why they call it interference. They should move the seats back if they're gonna have to go through the trouble of replaying it and throwing them out anyway. Now you don't have time go through that trouble and back to playing baseball.

    • @gtcrain3687
      @gtcrain3687 5 лет назад

      Luna baseball has only been around for 150 years but we should worry about this now. The only people complaining are in the comment section. No one that goes to games regularly has a problem with it. Plus it only happens maybe once in a hundred games. It’s part of the tradition of the game.

    When you purchase a ticket to a professional sports game, such as a professional baseball game, you paid for the right to attend and watch that game. You did not pay for the right to participate or interfere in that game, and you did not pay for the right to a game ball. Therefore, if you interfere with a player in pursuit of a ball that is still clearly in play, then you absolutely deserve to be ejected from the game. You are entitled to nothing, except to the seat which you purchased the ticket for.

    Lets be practical here. If MLB wants no fan to interfere with play then they need to push the front row back and make like the 3rd or 4th row the new front row leaving players a clear area to make a play. That ruins it for the fan experience but there would be no need to review a play and waste more time. I think the league needs to be a little more flexible in some cases a fan is looking at the ball and may not know a player has a shot at a play. Who doesnt want a foul ball at a game?

    • @vtoohigh4952
      @vtoohigh4952 5 лет назад +16

      darklordster i dont think you understand . Catching a hit ball at a mlb game or just any baseball game in general is completely different than buying one and beating it up after. Its the experience in it. No i am not saying the fans are justified but its a difference

    • @Crazytomm
      @Crazytomm 5 лет назад +10

    • @gtcrain3687
      @gtcrain3687 5 лет назад +2

      I’ll explain it for the hundredth time. It’s all part of the game. Catching a ball and getting ejected gives you a great story. The other fans get to boo or cheer. It’s all part of the fun. If your not an MLB fan I guess you don’t get it.

    4:57 I think that guy truly thought it was coming into his seat and didn't intend to interfere with the play based on the way he had his hands clasped in a catch position, I don't think he realized he extended his left arm out slightly over top of the wall, he was just focussed on catching it. Based on his interaction with the player he realized he screwed the play up. The player would have caught that ball for sure if the fan didn't reach for it, but I think it would have been challenged as to whether it was a dead ball or not.
