Thanks for sharing your techniques, can you maybe do a video on setting up a airbrush , I'm very new to this and always struggle after i cleaned my airbrush
Hennie, I sure will. Thanks for watching and unfortunately struggling at the beginning is all part of it.
Took a look at your web page. You have done some awesome pieces. Me just starting out airbrushing. Like your video's.
Gary, thank you for the kind words. I am glad you like the videos. If there is any topics you would like me to cover please let me know. Thanks for watching.
Hi, thank you for the tutorials, they are very helpful. I'm extremely new in airbrushing and my problem, for now, is that when I move back the paint trigger, the needle pushes out more paint instead of fading out. What I'm doing wrong? Do you have a video about this problem?
Thanks!
DG, make sure you are keeping the air on after pushing the trigger forward. Also this can be due to a cracked or worn nozzle or some dried paint in the nozzle. So... take the nozzle off, inspect and clean it. Clean the needle as well. Put it back together and if the nozzle has threads just snug it down. Don't over tighten it. Give that a try and let me know. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.
I have a question for you so I've been trying to master the dagger stroke and I just do not get it so are you posed to hold down the trigger for air and then pulled the trigger all way back for paint
Yes, that's correct.
I have really been struggling to get mine right, is it easier if the pressure is high or does it not make a difference? Great video Dan 👍🏻
Kevin, once you have it down air pressure really won't matter. It really is all about trigger and speed control. But for now stay at about 25 psi and keep practicing. You'll get it! I have know doubt.
I appreciate the tutorial on Dagger strokes you make it look a whole lot more easier compared to some other tutorials. You really go in detail on dagger strokes brother. I ordered my color wheel from your tutorials and I also ordered my Steve Drisko flesh tones!!!🎣🎣🎣
Is it safe to airbrush and breath in createx paint and reducer in a bedroom I open the bedroom window while I airbrush my t shirts but I don’t know if it can make me dizzy or harm me at all down the line I just started and don’t know much I can’t go outside I live in a apartment complex this is my only work space for now please let me know
Justin, I have never worn a mask while airbrushing and have use Createx from the beginning, over 20 years. Createx is a water based paint with no smell as opposed to a solvent based paint. But please look at the createx data saftey sheets online and do what you feel comfortable for you.
