I just got a Bushcraft Scout and it had an uneven grind and big gaps around one of the pins. I’m going to send it back and try the BRK lottery again. I’ve been eyeing this model too and glad to hear it’s performing well for you.
You do a great deal of Bark River bashing and you tend to single them out particularly. If you don’t like them buy another brand, It’s not as if you don’t have choices. To me it seems you buy bark river because you enjoy to complain online about them.

Sounds like you need to try an LT Wright knife and end this BK imperfection issue all together, I did.
@@msb2948 100% agree, LT Wrights always have nearly perfect QC. I just like the variety of the bark river knives and that is my own problem hahaha
Looks nice except for the QC issues. Not a fan of rat tail tangs but it is a puuku. For the size I’ll just stick with my Gunny. 👍
