Good vid, and I agree with the general tone.
I only own 7 BRK's and 6 of them are flat-out users. So with those, I can reprofile, regrind, add choils, WTF ever to correct BRK's production screw-ups. It would be really nice to be able to just buy a BRK assuming it would have good QC, like all the other makers I buy from.
So my message to Mike would be, stop overdriving your headlights, get your shit together, and produce the product we all know you can. You have done a great job getting to the point you're at. Take advantage of that, and build out a real legacy.
    You got this, Mike.

Great video. I got one of the micro Canadians from this latest run and it’s just awesome. Small. Pocketable. Fits like a glove. Definitely my favourite little knife

Great discussion of the brand and their knives. It’s a quirky company, for sure. I own two Bark Rivers, a Bravo Survivor (great chopper) and a Little Caper (great caper). Both in A2 steel. Good solid users, both of them, but they’re each very prone to rusting. Heck, my Little Caper was delivered with specks of rust already on it, haha! I live in a very hot and humid area, and I sweat a ton, so it’s a chore for me to keep the corrosion off of any high-carbon tool steel blades that I use. Anyhow, great video, man. Cheers! 🥃

It's great that you can simply return the knife if you're not happy with it. You have a fine collection of BR's. I love mine.

Funny to hear on the folder! I always thought it might be a bit crappy given how poor the tolerances are even on their fixed blades! Wish they would focus more on QC.

I just received a pre order classic drop point. It is all around terrible quality. All of my older bark river knives are great. Something has changed at bark river

Finally, somebody that doesn't keep their BRKs in their sock drawer. Yes, the quality control is donkey shyt. The very first knife I bought from them, close to $300, had a very brittle edge. It took SEVERE chipping, so I shipped it back to them. They chose to regrind the edge and send it back. Their thought process that I'd want that pos back still pisses me off. Whether they have good knives or not, buyer beware. The company is hot garbage.

Probably have 5 Bark Rivers. Mine are probably at least 5 years old. I haven't had any issues with quality. They have been great. Gunny is probably my favorite.

@@puma51921 Your success in receiving quality knives does not make what they did to me and others any better. Perhaps that was not your point, but until you are forced to pay $300 for a piece of broken metal, you can't claim BRK is great.
