"Everything is covered in a pretty thick layer of sawdust" and sad to say her lungs also. I can't understand why this smart, ecofriendly, healthful sweetie refuses to wear protection from the harsh elements she works in. Love her all the same and she is my favorite creator.
The way she eats she could probably survive open air at Chernobyl circa 1986.. but what I’ll complain about is not sanding down the underside of that table!!! My “OCD” kicked in with that. Oh and the metal shavings onto the freshly vacuumed floor. Better work and effort that 99% of the females I’ve met. People learn with time and experience and she is gaining both.
Isabel, your videos are just beautiful works of art. There is no other youtuber that when I'm watching one of their videos, I put on my headphones, mute all notifications, and just sit and experience what you've made. Thank you so much for sharing all that you do, the good and the bad
Ohhh, the table and the snow are both so beautiful. To be able to walk amongst the snowy trees, and then make your own furniture is so fantastic! Also the plants on the shelves looked divine!
#1 rule of staining, is to always test the stain on a small sample of the same wood before committing (to see how it looks with all coatings). I usually take one piece of the wood I’m going to use, and apply several different stains and finishes (and then decide which one I want to go with before I even start). There’s some great RUclips DYI videos available.
I've been having a really tough week and your video brought me to tears. Thank you so much Isabel for your beautiful video, it was so calming. I really appreciate your presence!!
Nature will ALWAYS lift us out of depression and sadness and bring us back into our hearts where we will feel the BLISS that lives there always! Isabel KNOWS this more than most! She is an AMAZING woman !!! TRULY !!!!
I love how genuine you are. Every sunrise, every day, every moment is new and beautiful and awe inspiring. I love it. The studio is absolutely amazing.
my goodness that studio is absolutely gorgeous. if it works for what you are doing at the table, you could move it centered and under the window so you can work at the table from both sides. it will also hide the grey outlet box on the wall. cannot wait to see it in use. congrats to you, logan and the kitty kats.
Congrats on finishing the studio! Enjoy your hard work. I’m like you with winter foods. Love the hearty stews and crusty breads once the snow arrives (I live in Maine).
Your hard work has paid off - both with the studio and in the garden! Winter carrots, woohoo! The studio looks beautiful, and the shelving and table are gorgeous!
i hope logan never leaves you because all you’ll be able to remember when you step in that house is yall building it together. i can’t even take a shower with people anymore cause i’m tired of feeling bad for the people i’ve hurt while trying to relax in my shower
You are such a blessing - a shining spot of hope and positivity that restores my perspective. I was feeling down and defeated by the state of the world today and within the first two minutes of your video, you reminded me of a saying I had given to my sons: Whenever life feels too big to handle, go outside. Everything looks smaller when. You’re standing under the sky. Thank you.
I don't know anyone your age that actually stops and enjoys the things we never really notice around us and revels in the beauty of it all. You are a true gem, Isabel. You are a kind, gifted, natural beauty and I wish nothing but the best for you in your life.
This was simply beautiful. The beginners mind, everytime you say you witness the most beautiful thing. A reminder, how we often forget to put ourselves in nature to remember how it grounds us. It's medicine.
I know this is an older video so this comment is quite late, but hopefully Isabel will read and heed it!!! I really enjoy your videos and I am so impressed with YOUR: Determination; incredible amount of hard work (Which is physically demanding and mentally challenging!); persistence and commitment to doing what needs to be done; and lastly, courage and confidence! So, thank you for your beautifully-shot videos, your openness, and all the great qualities that I have already mentioned! Now…for some heart-felt, somewhat knowledgeable, SAFETY DECLARATIONS!!!! While we can see the obvious skills you have related to building and carpentry, as well as the use of numerous power tools-I was surprised and concerned regarding the ABSENCE OF SOME NECESSARY AND RECOMMENDED SAFETY EQUIPMENT! When sawing and sanding, it is essential to have the proper safetyequipment
What a fabulous job you two (and family/cats) have done, well done. How much Joy and gratitude you must feel to have your studio finished just in time for winter. Thank you so much for sharing, it gives me so much inspiration, I love your vlog, I'm truly Grateful ❤💕
you are a monster . LOVE the studio YOU AND LOGAN PLUS FAM BUILT. and the river song is excellent. Bravo!!!! you have accomplished soooo much . the list of passions are long . xxoo
I also struggled with my shelves that I made for my living room. Brackets are really hard, they take a fair amount of strength to secure! When you first cut the slab for the shelves I was yelling "noooo don't cut the beautiful slab" but in the end your shelves were gorgeous so I definitely take that back! Lovely job Isabel 🥰
Your videos are my absolute favorite, you live my dream life. How amazing that you finished building another place for you🥰 thank you so much for sharing your life and happy holidays to you
I taught my first yoga class this week and I included Stay for the Summer and Nights by the River on the playlist I used for the class 💙 thanks for sharing your life and music with us.
Issy! You are something to be proud of for sure. You and Logan are the hippies I was looking for back in the '70s! I traveled through several communes back then looking for a place that I could live, and grow and have freedom with my creativity. They were all microcosms of the fucked up world I came from. It never dawned on me to build it myself. I went back to the "real" world and almost was comfortable with it until I moved up to a rural area in N.California last year. Like I "done died and gone to heaven". I love your videos. I wait for them like waiting to read the next chapter in a good book. It must take a toll on you to make them, especially up in the mountains. I'm a video guy since the beginning of videotape. I've been a video producer, shooter, editor (etc) (making video's there's a lot of "etc!") and I've never been so engaged with a solo vlogger like you. Now I'm 70 (in the 4th quarter of life) and still looking for something to shoot and have a passion for as you have for your story. I am so in love with what you do, and what you are, and how you're growing, and Logan, and your family, and the friends you have introduced us to (you got me watching Hanah, too!). You, yourself are so self-sustaining, and that's so beautiful and refreshing to see existing in the 2020s! I hope I can share a story from my camera with you one day! Blessings on you from the Universe! - Pat Cardi (IMDB.com)

I literally fall asleep listening to your music almost every night. It lulls me to sleep every time -- it's so soothing and sensual. "Everything is covered in a pretty thick layer of sawdust" and sad to say her lungs also. I can't understand why this smart, ecofriendly, healthful sweetie refuses to wear protection from the harsh elements she works in. Love her all the same and she is my favorite creator.
Isabel please take this into consideration
The way she eats she could probably survive open air at Chernobyl circa 1986.. but what I’ll complain about is not sanding down the underside of that table!!! My “OCD” kicked in with that. Oh and the metal shavings onto the freshly vacuumed floor. Better work and effort that 99% of the females I’ve met. People learn with time and experience and she is gaining both.
@@Stonewaller your comment would be even better without the casual sexism :)
@@Stonewaller better work and effort than 99% of HUMANS I’ve met.
And safety glasses.
Isabel, we are all so proud of you. Thanks for letting us all watch the progression of the house and your happiness.🥰
Isabel, your videos are just beautiful works of art. There is no other youtuber that when I'm watching one of their videos, I put on my headphones, mute all notifications, and just sit and experience what you've made. Thank you so much for sharing all that you do, the good and the bad
Logan is a sweetest creature. The way he smiles and reacts towards Isabel is precious and so sincere.
Haven’t you heard of Gabby Petito? Looks can be deceiving.
He probably wants some of the shitload of money she’s making from this fiction
@@tomthumb5242 ..that made me chuckle.
@@tomthumb5242 genuinely curious what you mean by fiction? you think she gets a lot more help than she shows on camera?

TRULY !!!!
You both did an amazing job. In such a small time. It makes us to believe anything is possible in this life.♡
You seriously make me feel like I could do anything! This is beautiful and so neat to watch from beginning to end. You’re so multi-talented.
How beautiful and magical does everything look in the snow?! You must feel like you're in a fairytale every time you step outside your door!
That drum play on the mountain is a good idea. The sound would be heard for such a long way!
Wow, so proud of you it looks amazing. Looking foreword to see what you and Logan do in the new hut !
Such a beautiful video - as always xx
Copper pipe light fixture (DIY) is what that lightbulb needs. Very cool house!!! Peace!!!
Omg I just refreshed Youutbe !!! I'M SO EXCITED!!
❤❤❤❤❤
You have accomplished such an extraordinary amount. The garden, and now your new studio ! Brava !
I love your videos, especially the food.
Awww Isabel - I'm immensely proud of you. Watching your videos makes my heart warm.
i hope logan never leaves you because all you’ll be able to remember when you step in that house is yall building it together. i can’t even take a shower with people anymore cause i’m tired of feeling bad for the people i’ve hurt while trying to relax in my shower
Thank you.
❤️
Drumming is very relaxing. Thanks for sharing.
Nothing like living in a state of bliss, grateful for all the universe and Mother Earth provides. 😊
Omg this is so amazing and I'm glad to be among the first person to watch and enjoy the vibes😍😍
I don't know anyone your age that actually stops and enjoys the things we never really notice around us and revels in the beauty of it all. You are a true gem, Isabel. You are a kind, gifted, natural beauty and I wish nothing but the best for you in your life.
i’m so proud of you and logan’s hard work on the studio. it’s absolutely amazing.
Wow You will love this studio even more because you created the entire building and furniture, an amazing accomplishment!
When sawing and sanding, it is essential to have the proper safetyequipment
watching your videos and hannah’s is like my little weekend therapy 💛
so true
Same.
@@laurieg673 Are you the farmer?

What a fabulous job you two (and family/cats) have done, well done. How much Joy and gratitude you must feel to have your studio finished just in time for winter. Thank you so much for sharing, it gives me so much inspiration, I love your vlog, I'm truly Grateful ❤💕
Such incredible work, you’ve worked so hard and you’ve earned that, enjoy your new space
Love your drone shots. So beautiful! And the snow is incredible. Build a snowman for joy 🤩🙏🏻❤️💯🥰✨🥳
Merci pour ce moment agréable et inspirant. La vie est belle 🙏🌎❤️
What's your RUclips channel about? Just wondering.
you are a monster .
Thanks for sharing this beautiful sunrise with us…and everything else 💕
The studio looks incredible, so glad you'll be able to expand your space during the winter and create wonderful things in there!
Safety glasses always, especially when sawing anything. Beautiful homestead, coming along very nicely. Love those adorable cats. Cute couple🥰
@donna baardsen Yes, thank you for mentioning this, Donna - kudos to Isabel for the incredible accomplishments that she's graciously (and no doubt tiredly) shared with us - but oh how I cringe when she doesn't wear goggles! 💜💜
I was so nervous when she was drilling that metal for a bigger hole. Metal in the eye would be horrible.
@@saltyone8843 yep I have commented on this a couple of times. Once something gets in the eye and a trip to an eye Doctor is needed it will wake you up!!!
Have any of u built a building from scratch? I've been in construction all my life& maybe 10% of workers wore safety glasses. They can be more dangerous than flying material. They fog up on u
She keeps ignoring people who say this. She really doesn’t give sh*t so,let her gouge her eyes out.
You are a rock star..both if you. You should feel very very accomplished and cozy now. Thanks for sharing. Great way to start my week.
Isabel, thanks for great video content .I admire your skills at everything you do. Please, please 🙏🙏🙏, consider wearing a high-quality protective mask when you are sanding wood. Unfortunately relative of mine has suffered irreversible lung disorder due to not wearing a protective mask during his carpenter career .
congratulations on the final touches in the build, and winter is here, time to create and enjoy.
As always I love the asthetics and the positive vibes of this channel!
WOW what a process...but WOW what a result. So beautiful to see this build, and the dedication and joint effort to get there. Namaste x
A trick for pre-drilling a hole: Measure the length of your screw/bolt against your drill bit and mark it with painter's tape. Then you can just drill up to the tape line.
I’m proud of you and Logan for finishing that building. You should have a party in celebration.
I literally fall asleep listening to your music almost every night. It lulls me to sleep every time -- it's so soothing and sensual. I live in the center of the historic center of Queretaro, MX and because it's Christmas soon, there are so many parties and church bells going off all night long. It's beautiful and why I love living here bc of all the historic culture, but it's out of hand sometimes. Your music makes me feel like I'm in the mountains. Love it so much, thank you. BTW, its okay to be sad sometimes, know that we love you all the same... and...congrats on the new build :)
I’m flabbergasted! That cabin is insanely cool! Well done clever lady and man!!
WoW! How satisfying and proud you must feel completing that build!!! Way to go Isabel and Logan!! Beautiful video!!
Looks great all your hard work has paid off. Enjoy the beautiful winter!
I love the studio! I would honestly move my bed into it, and keep the tiny house for all cooking and stuff still, but that's just me. Regardless, this is awesome!
I mean, does she actually live in the tiny house. Because her house is on her parents vacation property. I wonder if she mostly sleeps in their actual big house not her tiny house
@@myamazinglife4389 🙄 Seriously, don't you have your own life to worry about.
@@myamazinglife4389 I too wonder. Also about where does the money come from? Daddy? It seems that's where the water & electric & thousands of $$ in power tools come from, no?
@@cmerton The misogyny in the comments! She's making money off of RUclips, just like every other successful RUclipsr. Find some interesting content, and you can do it yourself. Funny, the only time you see comments such as yours, it's always targeting the female creators.

the efforts you put into filmin and editing, just wow! AND THE EFFORTS YOU BOTH PUT INTO THAT STUDIO!Im so proud of you BOTH!!!
It was good to hear that tongue drum....Congratulations on completion of your studio, it looks amazing. You've both created a homely little cabin.
I immensely enjoyed this story! Your edits are so pleasing. Congratulations on finishing the shop! And thank you for sharing the journey :) I’m constantly inspired !
In the beginning of the vlog the mountains in the background with the fog is so lovely that it almost doesn't seem real. Then the fog engulfs the mountains behind you and we know that it is indeed real.
So beautiful🌲
Congratulations on the completion of your work studio! Brava! Well done!
Also loved seeing both kitties--they are growing so fast!
Love seeing your videos.
Hey Isabel, In order to create a safe walking trail around the house and to the studio, you can use the ashes from the wood stove to cut through the ice. I used to do the same thing many years ago around my house. Works very well. Hope this helps you out around your place as well. Take care and be well.
Wood ash will stain your floors & make a sooty mess.

Two buildings in two years! Isabel you are a goddess of productivity. So proud of you 🙌
I always tune in for Isabel's laugh, it makes me happy.
