- "Duel of the Fates" by John Williams, from Star Wars - Episode I, remade as an experiment using Logic Pro X. Uses samples from Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra and samples included with Logic Pro X, as well as Requiem Light for the choirs (that's why the lyrics are incorrect).
Impressive.... most impressive.

The force is strong with this one..

lol right?
@@DarkKnight226 yea, in the description can be seen the original music, meaning that the music has been claimed or copyrighted
@@supb1848 bro it’s a bit of a joke, don’t take it so seriously 😉
@@DarkKnight226 😎👍
Requiem Light sounds great! That's why I'm watching - shopping around for a choral library. Very helpful.
damn, you should have way more views

Great job.

Great recreation
SENSATIONAL!!!
3:00 I think the second set of notes should be staccatoed. It sounds a bit off to me.
Let's have a mech battle.

Damn, this is pretty good it must have taken you a long time to make
You are blessed 😎
Intense🤘🤘🤘
That's really awesome! I love Logic Pro as you can create amazing sounds with the default sounds, but get insanely realistic with additional plugins and software. Check out our page, all our songs were done in logic pro - we also cut out the "Duel of the Fates" track from the original scene, and added our own orchestration (also done in logic pro)!
I am completely new to Logic Pro (still need to gain access to a copy) and to music theory and composing... My question is, how do you add vocals? Are those from Logic Pro standard list?
Thank you and apologies if the question is very basic.. :-)
He made the vocals using Requiem Light, it is not standard in logic.
FVCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daaaang. You used Sonatina for this? I have it, and I never expect that it would reach this kind of realism. 😮
but sonatina work on Logic?
@@perrybruni8256 Sonatina is soundfont, so any DAW that supports sf2 will work.
Awesome. Hope you can get some better libraries and chime with this arrangement. Best,
but Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra doesn't work on apple and Logic
genius! how's it even possible to write so much MIDI?
It's pretty easy. Just find the orchestration or midi file online and import it into your DAW. But some MIDI files are the exact score note for note with every single instrument, while others are not as accurate.
Genesis That’s no fun fr. The fun begins when you remake everything by ear.
Xevve... did you ever make the leap to VSL? If you have any questions, we use it everyday so I'm sure I can help.
Excuse me, but about the choir you made with Requiem Light.. Is Requiem Light a software or a name of a group of vocalists? Sorry if my question sound silly here, haha
AzinazEntertainment its a software with a wordbuilder

Nice
Can you do a tutorial?
Why do I see this now.
Hi, I was wondering if you've ever used East West's Symphonic choirs before? If so, how would you compare Requiem to it? To me, Requiem sounds really powerful which is pretty much what I'm after. I have Symphonic choirs and struggle to make them sound the way I want them, they sound really weak.
This was a really good cover by the way!
Have you thought of removing the vocals and doing a version based exclusively on the instrumental?
6 people were cut in two by obi-wan and thrown down a reactor
Who?
As much as I am impressed about the arrangement, I am far more impressed about your ability to here out all the instruments. Or do you have sheets for the song?
+DaMosa For this one, I used a score :) (my Gladiator and Chevaliers de Sangreal videos were done by ear though).
+xevve what about for star wars main theme? Was that done with a score
Dman82499 Yes it was. Lots of ornamentations and complex orchestration in that score, would be more or less impossible to do by ear I'd say.
xevve yea, i'd imagine so. lol
Check out super enguana pianist he does all of his work by ear and you will be amazed how accurate his transriptions are.
Sounds like kingdom hearts in an amazing way
Can you do "Carbon freeze" next, please?

Woah how do you get the choir to do different sounds like that?
+Sample Text Check out Requiem Light, it's what I used for the choirs. It lets you build phrases by combining different sounds.
@@xevve is it free ?
u deserve spitfire audio vsts.
FUCK ME THIS IS AMAZING
no
@@letsago117 ok 🥲
Do you prefer using the piano role and typical arrangement window over the Orchestral sheet music option?
Is it possible to learn this power?
Wow.
how long did it take you to finish this
how do you make the velocity so on point?
Man,its amazing!!What kind of choir you used??
I would love to meet you. Where in the world are you located?
That was hilarious!
Why?
There's another version of this made using Spitfire Epic Choir and BBSSO Pro ruclips.net/video/LSx9pltmWFo/видео.html
How did you make strings attack so short? Did you just use spiccato ones?
+Fedor Voronov Correct! For legato notes with fast attack, I simply layer staccato samples on top of the legato samples.
xevve thanks for the reply
Logic Pro X is $200 to get on your computer, and I bet this was extremely hard.
you should do yodas theme
Wait, it's copyrighted. How.
How do you use Sonatina on Logic?
大迫力だ〜
*It was so good it got copyrighted*
well done dude, but it's not like original....but as I said really well done

Did you cheat with the chorus at the beginning? There's no way you have a sample for a chorus with words!
in fact, Word Builder does it.
Requiem light, that's how he's able to do it during the music without real orchestra leaking out.
Almost every choir library have it
do u mean EastWest/Quantum Leap Symphonic Choirs or hollywood choir
?
ewok moses i don't mean to be rude but i doubt anyone thought hollywood choirs as it wasn't released when they wrote the comment
i give up
what would be impressive is if you could write something original. Reading a book, and then typing it out word for word is not impressive. "WRITING" the book yourself, with your own original story, that is impressive.
East West Symphonic Orchestra is better.
It's also not free.
Adam Halpin there's a "new" sso called Virtual Playing Orchestra or something, it's linked on the old SSO page
Still not the best library out there - not even close.
Andrew M. that would be VSCO2 :D
I guess in terms of the whole orchestral ensemble it's pretty decent. But I'd much rather have all of the Albion libraries, or spitfires symphony orchestra bundle. Metropolis Ark 1 and 2 are also great contenders.
No, no, no... change please whole string section. Horrible sound...
The dynamics are flat as f*ck.
wow..... awesome..
