- I'm tired of everyone talking about his death, whether you killed him or not but if you have a high enough reputation, you can save him from dying and he won't cure the genophage, Wrex if he's alive finds out but Wreav is too stupid to realize it. This video shows you how to save Mordin

This versions sounds more natural than the paragon version.
Gotta love how more mature and pragmatistic Renegade Shep has gotten on ME 3. Talk how much you like about the endings, but ME 3 for me was the only title of the series to truly get the "whatever it takes" voice of the Renegade.

Normally, I wouldn't be nowhere near saying the same as Shepard when choosing a dialogue. BUT, the last Renegade option was one exception, where I'd say almost the same, word for word.
Especially that "Do they?" would make me start with "Do they? has Wreav proven that the Krogan can be trusted?"

This is the only way, i think to get both the salarians & krogan to side w u against the reaper. This is for the greater good i suppose.
This here is the ONLY reason I would sabotage the geophage. Wrex and Eve deserve the chance to rebuild and lead the Krogan.
If you have second thoughts about the genophage you commit to them in all 3 games. It's actually quite delicious and satisfying to know you tricked Wreav and when they find out the genophage is fake, the krogan are going to tear Wreav (and most likely themselves) apart.
Yeah regardless as to whether Eve is alive without Wrex there is no hope for the Krogan because you have to have the right leadership and who’s to say Wreav will share the power with Eve
@@gabematthews4532 Don't underestimate Eve. If you cure the genophage and Wreav is in charge but Eve is alive, the female clans will refuse to bear children and may even pull a Lysistrata on Wreav if things get bad enough. They did NOT want the genophage unleashed upon them again.

What happens if you cured it with only Wreav?

On Mass Effect 2's character page, go to masseffect . com click on the 2 in the top left of the page, then click on the universe tab, then click on Mordin Solus, bottom left window states that he is 50. though take this info how you want cause the same page also says grunt is 22 (though it may be he is 22 by Krogan standards even though he actually like a year or so old). there are conflicts for Mordin's age, the gameplay lead for Mass Effect 2 (Christina Norman) stated he is a little over 30.
there is a intel you get from a side mission and it gives 5+ health or those damn orange scars will be cured.

Wrex doesn't die as a result of what choices you make in ME2, but rather a decision you make in ME1, on Virmire. If you talk Wrex down, he lives and takes control of Clan Urdnot; if you don't talk him down, you have to shoot him, which results in Wreav taking control.
I shoot Wrex Everytime, I don’t even let ashley do it.
Imagine allowing a subordinate to pull a gun on renegade Shepard. Naw I had to make an example out of him.

He won't be around to stop him regardless he's 51 maybe 52, he's already 11-12 years past the life expectancy for salarians.

It ultimately comes down to one question: do you like Wrex, or Mordin more? As much as Mordin has grown on me, I could never bring myself to get Wrex killed.
Wrex is dead in this instance. Wreav is the leader of clan Urdnot, and he probably cannot be trusted, so going through with the sabotage may be a good idea in this case.
@@xxfalconarasxx5659 agreed. If for some reason Wrex didn't survive on Virmire, I'd go full on sabatoge. I like Mordin, and Wreav has treachery written all over him. Wrex is the far better option for Krogan leadership. My point is then: when starting a playthrough, particularly from ME1, who do you like most? Wrex or Mordin?

Wrex was going to sell out his people to the reapers. He’s no better than Saren or the Illusive Man.

The only way Mordin would agree to sabotage the cure is if the Krogan weren't led by a reasonable one like Wrex or if Wreav isn't being kept in check by Eve which is why both need to be dead.
So it is possible to save Wrex and Mordin?
Aril Kogalur no. wrex finds out if you kill mordin but wreve does not. mordin can only be saved if both wrex and eve die.

The real question to ask is "why the fuck does your Shepard wear the Cerberus armour?" Isn't that like wearing Nazi uniforms in Wolfenstein? Combine armour in Half-Life?
And how does your Shepard convince anyone that he's not with Cerberus?
I want to do Renegade. But I could *never* hurt the Krogan or the Quarians.
I honestly accidentally hurt the quarians and had to reload because of the paragon trap which I will never choose again
If this was the pathway you ended up with, that sucks lol - you missed some of the most impactful and emotional moments in the entire franchise
Disagree, I did an almost 95% renegade play through including the destroy ending and IMO it makes Renegade Shepard THE Shepard and the best narrative as you defeat the reapers and get the best ending but it’s also filled with sacrifice and shows how Shepard is willing to do whatever it takes to save the galaxy.

@@Takhar7 I personally hated the Paragon ending… ur really gonna let a human control the reapers… like what? He just leaves Into the void of space? How many years until he goes mad from isolation and comes back in a million years to kill everyone again.
I think that would have made for a better sequel if Shepard became a reaper and the next game is him coming back a millennia later… but that’s the only way that works lol

And then Wreav was given more understanding and compassion by Synthesis, and the rest of the Krogan race died for no reason
This scene is a good example of differences between Male/Female Shephard's voice actors. The line "Eve isn't here" is delivered far better by the Female Shep in my opinion.
Synthesis overrides the genophage, cause it was made targeting exactly female krogans. After Synthesis they are not krogan, there are something better.
