@@Goosetavula that's easy Gustavo, a job that's he is good at. Doesn't matter if he's flipping burgers or working as a brain surgeon. As long as he's making a good living and he's happy with what he's doing, well that's all that matters. I've learned that a very large majority of strong headed people like myself that truly want to make a big change in their life, WILL FIGURE IT OUT. And 99.9 percent of those kind of people always do. If that's something that he wants to do, well there's nothing but air and opportunity keeping him from doing that.
Moving is not a solution for this kind of INSANITY. You will not find a job in the remote areas. It's difficult there too, that is why people are flocking to the cities: To FIND A JOB
In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma you can rent a 2 bedroom house with a one car garage for $500/month. If you have any skills at all you can get a job for much better than minimum wage. If you are dependable your pay will increase quickly. If you live in a van: you can join a 24 hour gym and use the shower. You can camp for about $17/day outside the city with a water view. You can park at a hospital for one night and rotate through around 20 hospitals without repeating. You will live in abundance.
Update: got a studio month and a half ago. This is true. I am homeless in my car. Have been for almost a year. It is very difficult. It is mostly kept a secret lest be stigmatized. Work, chess, and Sunday Holy Mass keeps me sane. It is still a mentally struggle and exhausting to hide. A concrete jurneyman who works $15/ hr because can't go long enough (3 weeks) to wait for a 1st union pay check so work temp and get paid once a week. Yes bills are still the same. Now not rent but YMCA to shower, expensive auto insurance because no home, pay for PO Box and of course pay more in gas moving around and in food. If it wasn't for prayer life would be on drugs. Thank God alive. Tried to kill myself from the dispair last summer. Now just trying to keep pushing.
You shall over come the rough time you’ve been going through brother I will pray for a roof over your head and a warm dinner on your table god bless you stay strong , suicide is not the answer . You will be saved just have faith
It's going to get a lot worse in the coming decades. Every civilization has its rise and fall and the death spiral awaits this one. Wealth inequalities are going to be to the point of destabilizing the entire system. Capitalism that gave us so much for so long is at its final stages.
I've noticed alot of the people in these videos are still smiling through the struggle...That warms my heart and I pray they get where they want to be in life
well you can smile even when you're burning inside. smiling doesn't mean that you're happy I know some people that smile in funerals some people even smiled when they was about to get the death penalty. some people are just born with genetics that makes them smile more often than others
Well you know what they say, the people who don't understand don't know until it happens to them. Think of celebrities who were famous but then lost their fame/fortune for whatever reason like MCHammer.
My first apartment in the early 80s was a one-bedroom that cost $300/month. Surprisingly enough, I don't recall seeing any homeless encampments back then. I wonder why???
J W: it's the internet. Homeless people can communicate via the web, and they all go wherever in the country that the living is best. It's why we need a federal resolution to the problem, since otherwise the states will just pass the buck.
My love goes out to this man! Ten years ago I was in a shelter with my baby girl. It is so hard to start over with everything being pulled out from under your fee and have nothing. People say if you work hard then everything is fine, but what about those who work hard and everything is not fine? Why blame the one trying and struggling? Is it easier than saying "we should do better" for people like us. I love you but sadly have hate in my heart for the judges, I'm working on it, wish they would say something like that too. -me
Tanya people who work hard dont live a successful life it's the ones who dont work hard that gets the good life. I use to work my azz off 12 to 16 hours a day 6 to 7 days a week and was never settle or happy. It's all about balance.
sam hawkz honestly, it’s about learning how to make your money work for you instead of working yourself to death for money. I made my son start saving now while he’s living with my husband and me at 19. I gave him a list of goals and a solid financial plan. Once December comes, our bank has amazing Roth IRA plans. I already had him start his CD. He had an emergency fund for things that arises with his car. It’s all about financial literacy and making sure your money works for you. When people say they can’t save and so forth. They can easily save $5-$20 per paycheck to start. They can build slowly but surely.
That's why some families don't deserve anything. Where's this guys family? Friends? No one can open their home up until he gets back up on his feet? I swear people are so selfish.. Its disgusting
Ive been homeless for 10.5 year's and regarding people helping, theres been plenty of that in my decade homeless but heres been my reality.... I earn $1700 net a month and after I pay bills. (Thats right, homelessness costs; fuel, insurance, maintenance, storage, phone, morage, food) I can save about $200 a month.... I live in both my van and a boat so I am living the dream and not kavetching.... I gotta thank God for what I have and thats pretty much that! Living with others that on an endless stream of criticism regarding everything thats wrong with you is such an unnurturing enviorment that its better to "not be there" than to be nagged all the time.... If I made more.... But hey! There are definatley worse off people than me.
I bought an old school bus and built a tiny home off grid. I'd be homeless if it wasn't for this bus and I'll probably just stay with this. No other options at this time.
Who would ever WANT to live in the USA? No vacation days, health care that is 1000 times too expensive, expensive schools. Ridiculous. I wish so much more happiness for you guys!
USA has its problems and it’s not the best but it’s better than a lot of places. If you’ve ever seen Latin American poverty firsthand, you’ll understand who wants to live in the USA

I live in Pasadena California too.. Just lost my apartment last year.. Been homeless since then.. I work as a full time armored truck driver and ATM technician for Loomis .. And I'm homeless now living out of my car.. Had to leave Pasadena because people are so hateful of homeless people.. Police kept harassing me .. If they only knew that I work my ass off handling millions of dollars daily.. How ironic is that.. Can't find another apartment because landlords want triple the rent of a deposit of 1000 dollars average and it's hard to come up with that.. I lost my job as well because I can't properly shower and groom myself like I used to because I live out of my car.. My life is turning into a train wreck... I'm not giving up ... I'm not mad at California .. It's just not for me I guess.. I feel so much for this guy and I reared up cause I can relate.. You can find me in glasses park area in La sleeping in my car.. I'll get myself out of this mess eventually.. I'd love to share my story for your channel sometime. Best of luck to everyone in the same situation !
Since you have a car couldn't you have joined a gym with showers, i have never been homeless but have van camped and road tripped where i kept clean with wipes or a gallon of water
Kathy Larson if you think homelessness is a long term camping trip then I don’t know what to tell you.. I worked long hours and got off late.. a lot of physical work.. I’d get off tired just wanting to go inside my car and sleep... wake up in the morning to do it all again.. I would go to an aquatics facility to shower but someone’s they’d close early or I wouldn’t make it out of work in time to make it..
It's not always just "leftists", jesus would you people just shut up about that nonsense? It's not just one factor, it's many factors that contributed to this problem the state is facing. The only thing you were right about is yes the place is expensive. But there are lots of factors. Celebrities of any political sphere tend to move or get homes out in the L.A area, lots of big companies set up buildings there, lots of richer/well off people get homes there. Because of all these affluent people moving and living there, the cost of living has gone up and unfrotuantely it has affected the average working class what with raising prices of rent, groceries, and so on. Gentrification is what happened and that can happen anywhere.
Number one priority for any homeless person living in LA, is to get out of LA! One of the highest cost of living in the nation! Hitchhike or save up to get the hell out of that miserable city.
Give it to JESUS! Stay prayed up. If you don't know HIM, say the Sinner's Prayer. Then read the Gospel of John and the book of Romans in the book bible new testament. www.google.com/amp/s/www.crosswalk.com/faith/prayer/the-sinners-prayer-4-examples.html%3famp=1

No it's not. Jobless is at alltime low right now. Southern states are still largely behind the rest of the world in cost per square foot. Even compared to bankrupt countries like Greece. Property is much cheaper here and in other southern states too. Austin is the most expensive though because mostly CA people moving there and causing prices to shoot up.
Yes it is. No shit. Can barley buy food, let alone pay for a car, how the hell can someone is going to keep living if crap keeps getting higher to the point were everyone is over working just to have a home or no where at all. By the year 2020, normal rent will probably be 3,500 a month. in some places now, its like that already!!! Smh. Smh.smh.
Yes.... Happing a lot here too in Canada! I think it has a lot to do with increasing world population. It was NOT like this when I was young. And I do remember...

This is very nearly me and might be in a year from now. I work full time, and am near to being homeless, drowning in debt, and not making ends meet. I am older too, with a bad back so I can’t work 80 hours a week anymore. Thank you for this video.. M.A. Enriquez. I lived in Florida in a 55+ community condo with a million dollar clubhouse . You can purchase for $50k. The monthly fees is$350, mortgage is $250,utilities $60, taxes $55. You can get employment there as security guard paying $1500 a month. you do not need a car as the HOA has free transport. Your credit score must be 720 at least.
He doesn't look or sound your stereotypical homeless person. I agree he has to be very strong to be homeless and working and also wants to support his child. That's all so admirable.
I sold my 2 cars. Left my amazing $2,500/mo apt in SF (23 yrs) and Santa Barbara. Bought an RV. Paid off all my bills. Paid off my car. My monthly rent (in a gated community, w/ golf courses, pools, spas, saunas, 3 dogs parks) is ONLY $400/month! Best thing I ever did! Wish this guy, and others in his situation, the best.
I work full-time also. I became homeless after my wife left me for someone else. Rent is outrageous everywhere. I live in my car and get a hotel room from time to time.
Hope your doing better now during covid 19 pandemic and economic collapse of the USA. I'm in the same boat as you since February 2020. With no end in sight, this shouldn't happen to anyone. Yet it can do just that happen to anyone, at any moment.
This is why the unemployment rate alone doesn't tell the whole story. People don't have the money to spend even if they have a job. The local businesses are barely surviving because there aren't many customers.
The unemployment number itself is fake. After 2008 they changed the definition of the unemployment rate to exclude long term unemployed and those who no are no longer actively looking for work. If you want a better idea of what the real unemployment numbers are look into the "Labor force participation rate" (Currently in the low 60s%), which means over 30% of America is not working.
save money for a van rather than a hotel... sign up at planet fitness to take a shower only 10 dollars a month or 20 for nationwide. ... invest in solar panels n solar generator. ... invest in fridge freezer.
I use to live in LA and at one point I had 3 jobs & I still couldn't afford my own place. I had to do the roommate thing which I hated but it was the only way. I packed my bags and moved to vegas, where rent was super dirt cheap. My 1st apartment was a huge 3 bedroom 2 bath and it was $642 a month & I was able to afford paying for it with just a part time job, I was only working 2-3 nights a week. In LA there were studios for 2,000 a month. Mininum wage was $8.00 That's ridiculous!
I live in pasadena and if we had to start from scratch it would be hard .luckily we've been here generations and the house is payed off and my grandmother s house is payed .
It used to be pretty good, but I've watched it deteriorate in my 58 years. Just spent 16 months homeless after being priced out of Seattle where my family had been for 130 years.
Anon Anon Plenty of places in America have ZERO homeless people. Large cities have these types of problems. Everywhere on earth they do and MOST other country's large cities are far worse. "The poor will be, always."
Jesse Back It's how the country treats it's citizens. Its the culture and society revolving around America that is slowly killing her off. America's downfall will not be because of external threats such as war or terrorism, it'll be domestic due to its nature of media-obsessed, narcissistic, greedy and selfish society and culture. Edit: The only places there isn't homeless people would be the places where people haven't slept at yet. Singapore, the country with near 0% homelessness rate still has homeless people because they chose to live in the streets. Stop blasting fake facts and pretend only urban areas have homeless people when it's actually all of America.
thank you so much for making these videos.. I hate when I hear people say "homeless people need to get a job" everyone and anyone could be a victim of circumstance.. you never know what led to someone's situation :( it breaks my heart and I'm always trying to make this point to people.. I could not imagine being homeless!! it's one of my biggest fears.. especially because it could easily become a reality quickly for me.. I'm already struggling and falling behind on bills, been living on my own 4 over 20 years but times have gotten tough.. I used to live comfortably and never lived beyond my means.. my income is actually less than it was 20 years ago but everything is more expensive. Anyway, I give homeless people credit, my anxiety would kill me if something else didn't first. does the average person ever stop to think about what homeless have to endure?! their risks, fears, etc.. btw, WHEN did "homeless" become a bad word?!

I hate it when people assume, a person is homeless either because they don't have a job- or because they spend all their money on alcohol/drugs. Even if a person doesn't use alcohol or drugs, I would think it would be hard to save money; living on the streets.
Peter Scherling - It's not just rent itself, but first, last and security deposit, too. That's thousands of dollars all at once. I bought a decent van as a safety net, and am converting it. I like to camp anyway, so it works for me.

The panels can bend like a tunnel but 2 kw or 8 panels never need a battery just pedal in the dark! Wire the panels to the right voltage and run it straight across! But reduce weight as much as possible and fly! Im alone but with a good young woman im free! Fyi those panels are 20 lbs each! 8 160 lbs! Why be homeless? Be free and travel to the right temp places always! Wishing the best for you! Peace

What I meant is for some people the salary was never enough to survive alone, not mentioning supporting a family. The existing economic crisis just worsen the situation. Where is the joke and the mockery motive in my statement? john brittain watchs these invisible people videos and comments on them just to assure to himself how hotshot he is.
Where I live, in Pennsylvania, a city nearby has a shelter for homeless men. Every day local churches serve breakfast and lunch/dinners. Another church has a bus that picks up the homeless and takes them to dinners. Where there's a will, there's a way. With all the city resources, there should be a lot of help for the homeless, politics/bureaucracy be damned. There but for the love of God go I. These films by invisible people are so good to get informed about homelessness. More people need to have the executive skills like this interviewer to get to the heart of the matter. The go fund me page could be more specific. I agree with the van idea, Why rent? IDK, maybe he can't drive, regardless, I'd donate more quickly if I knew what he would do, for his own good, not because I'm trying to be a jerk. Please tell the world your reasonable plan to get off the streets and honestly if it's renting an apartment, I can't help. Rent is way too much where I live!, Never mind Pasadena. Now, do you have any decent credit or could you borrow it? Get a small duplex or something and rent out the other units, that would make more sense to me.
Charlie doesn’t even look homeless!! He has really white teeth (: The rent is to high and we are losing the value of the dollar.. He should save up money for a Van, I will give him a donation
This situation is so crazy but completely believable in LA. I know a RUclipsr who pays 1700 USD just for rent in Santa Monica, for a ONE bedroom apartment. Imagine paying first and last plus all of the deposits for utilities? You're looking at nearly 5 grand if not more. This is the type of situation that gofundme was made for. I really hope he can get into housing ASAP bc he seriously deserves it for working so hard and still dealing with sleeping rough. I can't imagine the choice between having shelter and saving money by sleeping on the street and skipping the motel. I'm gonna sub to his channel now!
gia: My Stepdaughter also lives in LA.. 1 bedroom Apt in Westwood for $1,600/mo. Crazy! I'm in the Central Valley, CA and pay $1,200/mo for a 2 bed duplex. It's cheaper in the valley, but still pricey for what you get.
you could get a 2 bedroom apartment for 600-900 in fucking Texas. California is a piece of shit. I hate this place. People are renting out their own damn closets for 500/month.
you can sublet a room in LA for far less than that. Also, if you don't have a lot of money don't live in Santa Monica, it's a paradise town. There is a reason it's expensive to live there.
It is expensive in the city, Pasadena is one of the nicer areas of LA county, aside from more popular places like Beverly hills, for example. You just need to move inland a little. Land can be found for $1000/acre, if you have a job within an hour or two... You can get some nice forest land up in Crestline for under $20K for an acre-ish, without a home. Crestline is less than an hour from San Bernardino. Homes within an hour can be found for under $150K. Just kind of depends on where you want to live but of course most of California is rather expensive, especially down south and anything on the coast.
LA Prepper yup! I work in studio City and live in San Bernardino. Sure, I'm spending 100$ on gas but with my 850$ a week I'm able to afford the rent and groceries and take care of my family. Cheapest 2 bedroom I found in the valley was 1600. I'm only paying 875$ in San Bernardino with only a 70 minute commute
With what they want for RENT where he is, he could easily buy a NEW smaller RV to drive around and LIVE in and get to work. Even a new VAN would be very doable to live in, take a shower, cook and sleep safe.
Offgrid Jack and how will he save up to get the van? Being homeless is very expensive. No fridge or place to keep food so you can't buy anything that requires refrigeration, can't buy big boxes of stuff on sale, etc., you have to eat out, which is expensive even if you are careful. You need money for buses and trains,etc-it's no different here in NJ. The rents are lower than California but so are the salaries, it ends up the same situation. Not enough wages to afford the rent, so even if he moved here, he would be in the same situation. This is a worldwide problem. It's easy to make suggestions but you won't understand until you are in the situation.
Pattianne Pascual - I HAVE been in this situation for over a year and a half in the upper elevations of Oregon where it gets 15 BELOW. I also was battling pneumonia for 6 months because I was outside in the rain, snow and freezing weather. I only ate out ONCE at taco bell as a treat for Xmas. I also had an elderly dog to take care of. We both made it through with back packing gear. I got a hand-truck (cart) to carry stuff in and had a backpack at one time to carry cans of soup in, a back packers stove to heat it up and warm water for tea and to wash with. I scrapped metal, had food stamps and clipped coupons during the day to save on meals to feed my dog. Was able to save up enough for a 20 year old small pickup and we moved into that. We were living HIGH with a pickup now. Scrapped a 4x8 trailer and built a plywood box on the little trailer and we were GOOD after that for the next couple of years in Walmart parking lots, church lots, lots of time in the library to warm up and eventually bought an off-grid piece of property. Watch some back packing videos of how they do it for weeks on end with NO grocery stores or soup kitchens. It can be done. I know. Where he is he has tons of resources that my dog and I didn't NOT have. We were on our own.
It sounds like his main priority is to stop being homeless so that he can work on his next priority of regaining some custody of his daughter. Jumping in a van and hitting the road would be counter to that. I'm saying he should just move out of the city and/or state, where he currently can't afford rent even with a full time job.
Yes, but it sounds like he's not exactly seeing her a whole lot now because he's homeless. If he doesn't get the public assistance, moving to another area where the cost of living isn't choking him out of housing would probably benefit his restart attempt more.
I am really really shocked by this video. The company in US doesn't offer free staff dorm? You can always find jobs with free staff dorm in CHINA though it doesn't have high salary. But you won't be homeless if you get a job.
The distribution of wealth in this nation is abysmal. I worked for a home improvement store twenty years ago and recently applied to the same company, they actually offered me a lower rate with more responsibilities. This type of practice is prevalent everywhere in the United States. The government has made it even easier to opt out of union representation by ruling that you can now take advantage of union benefits without having to pay dues. This further disenfranchises the union and lessons the effectiveness that they can have on change. We need more of an intelligent method of distribution of wealth in the United States and I am afraid since the introduction of corporations into branches of government offices there will never be a fair outlook for those that are on the lower level of wealth. This however will start to creep up the ladder to the middle classes and further dismantle the financial stability of not only the American citizens but also the profits of the corporations that the workers are beholden to for basic necessities. Most corporations have a huge gap in what CEOs make in comparison to the average workers that represent their companies. We need to take on the corporations by competing against them with employee owned business where the distribution of profits are more reasonable.
I feel very blessed, I live in Birmingham, England and my parents pay about £450 a month for a 3 bed semi-detached property. Granted it is very outdated but it is clean and a roof over our heads. My family would NEVER be able to afford these types of prices in terms of rent.

The rent prices are insane everywhere. This shouldn't be normal at all.
Moving is not a solution for this kind of INSANITY. You will not find a job in the remote areas. It's difficult there too, that is why people are flocking to the cities: To FIND A JOB
No! It will be tho. Homless it will be the new normal.

its not normal - in western europe they pay like 300-400 euros a month for a 1 bedroom in places where you dont need a car. it is a sin
I just love his positive attitude & big smile! God bless Charlie 🙏
@Elena Timofte I totally agree with you. My comment was from 2yrs ago ✌️.
$1800 a month for 1 bed apartment. I'd be on the street before paying that.
Yak Cutter Facts
Most 1 bedroom apartments in Charlotte, NC are that expensive!
I pay $970 for a studio in Philadelphia, but it does include my utilities and internet. It was $800 just a year ago.
depent in the place you want to live . i rent a studio in the city of commerce 775 with all utilities

It's going to get a lot worse in the coming decades. Every civilization has its rise and fall and the death spiral awaits this one. Wealth inequalities are going to be to the point of destabilizing the entire system. Capitalism that gave us so much for so long is at its final stages.
Those folks who say "get a job" are fools.
As long as people dont earn living wage work solves nothing.
Vera Nika It always drives me crazy when people say, "at least you have work.". I don't need more work.....I need to get paid.
Not to mention the cost of food, transportation, repairs, shoes, clothing. Health insurance and deductibles.
Vera Nika I know that's gets my nerves. Bills don't care how much you make.
IMPERFECT WOMEN OF GOD too true

I've noticed alot of the people in these videos are still smiling through the struggle...That warms my heart and I pray they get where they want to be in life
well you can smile even when you're burning inside. smiling doesn't mean that you're happy I know some people that smile in funerals some people even smiled when they was about to get the death penalty. some people are just born with genetics that makes them smile more often than others
It's not tears of joy its tears of sorrow. Smiling thru the struggles and praying for a better day
Some of these people who are struggling could show many wealthy people a thing or two about courage and facing adversity with a smile.
Well you know what they say, the people who don't understand don't know until it happens to them. Think of celebrities who were famous but then lost their fame/fortune for whatever reason like MCHammer.
a lot of these apartments are owned by the average american not the super rich they are the ones set the rates.
Charlie good luck my friend I hope you get off the streets.

What even more disgusting is that when they do let you in their home they insult & belittle you to the point of not even wanting their "help".
Could be that he is doing drugs and steals from them
Ive been homeless for 10.5 year's and regarding people helping, theres been plenty of that in my decade homeless but heres been my reality....

Can you move out of state?
Since you have a car couldn't you have joined a gym with showers, i have never been homeless but have van camped and road tripped where i kept clean with wipes or a gallon of water
@Tim Terrell what has the police to do with being homeless, you can always tell the mindset by the f word
It’s a shame in this country pay wages have not caught up with the cost of living.
Capitalism at its finest. Supply of labor continues to increase, demand for human capital does not grow similarly...
Gentrification is what happened and that can happen anywhere.
the sick in the head rich and middle class savage always fuc over the poor and take advantage of then buy paying them shit money
it's not the wages it's the inflation and federal reserve and taxes doing you in

My first thought when clicking this video was "Must be in California."

Anon Anon Plenty of places in America have ZERO homeless people. Large cities have these types of problems. Everywhere on earth they do and MOST other country's large cities are far worse. "The poor will be, always."

It's how the country treats it's citizens.
I hate when I hear people say "homeless people need to get a job" everyone and anyone could be a victim of circumstance.. you never know what led to someone's situation :(
it breaks my heart and I'm always trying to make this point to people..

The panels can bend like a tunnel but 2 kw or 8 panels never need a battery just pedal in the dark! Wire the panels to the right voltage and run it straight across! I agree with the van idea,
Why rent?
IDK, maybe he can't drive, regardless, I'd donate more quickly if I knew what he would do, for his own good, not because I'm trying to be a jerk.
Please tell the world your reasonable plan to get off the streets and honestly if it's renting an apartment, I can't help.
Rent is way too much where I live!, Never mind Pasadena.
Now, do you have any decent credit or could you borrow it?
Get a small duplex or something and rent out the other units, that would make more sense to me.

A very nice , kind , brave and intelligent man . God 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼help this man.
Charlie doesn’t even look homeless!! He has really white teeth (:
The rent is to high and we are losing the value of the dollar..
I'm gonna sub to his channel now!
gia Exactly! As soon as I saw the title, the first thing that came to my mine was "Yep he has to either live in LA, New York city or San Francisco"
gia: My Stepdaughter also lives in LA..
If that RUclipsr is making money from videos, maybe they don't need to live in Santa Monica, lol...
I love his smile...but! I feel sad 😫 for him 😭😭😭😭😭
What a great smile !! Prayers and good wishes for him!!
Im on my way brother keep up the positivity.
california is expensive. gotta move. he has to make at least 4800
The sad thing is though, when you rent a room in someone's house, you are helping them pay their mortgage...better than the streets but still.
@@FreddyPrieto94 Smart guy.
He should save up as much as he can and buy a bus ticket out of there.
JohnnySixString he should just buy the van after saving money and hit the road
It sounds like his main priority is to stop being homeless so that he can work on his next priority of regaining some custody of his daughter. Jumping in a van and hitting the road would be counter to that. I'm saying he should just move out of the city and/or state, where he currently can't afford rent even with a full time job.
Yes, but it sounds like he's not exactly seeing her a whole lot now because he's homeless. If he doesn't get the public assistance, moving to another area where the cost of living isn't choking him out of housing would probably benefit his restart attempt more.
And to where?
Dann Marceau To anywhere...where he can actually afford to live.
Such a nice man.will be praying for you
I have a friend of 30 yrs in Pasadena. God bless! 🙏♥️
We need to take on the corporations by competing against them with employee owned business where the distribution of profits are more reasonable.
i suspect that with the way things are going, that this is going to be a MUCH more common story, as time goes on. If it isn't already.
I feel very blessed, I live in Birmingham, England and my parents pay about £450 a month for a 3 bed semi-detached property. Granted it is very outdated but it is clean and a roof over our heads. My family would NEVER be able to afford these types of prices in terms of rent.
What a big beautiful smile!! God bless him!! It's so wrong to be working full time and still can't afford a place to live...
Once upon a time, a home was possible for a family with just a father as a sole earner.
Well as more labor enters the workforce the wages stagnate
@@aaronc6586 The feminist movement with its righteous cause has had its unintended consequences, imo
K Choe Working class women always had to work.
@@MissOrchid12 not for corporate. Always potential as a home maker. But who gives a fuk about that.... A home to rest in
@@MissOrchid12 The noblest occupation is a home maker, which provides the foundation for the future of society. Of course there's always has been working class women prior to the 20th century.. The unintended consequences of industrial revolution, feminist movement, and consumerism are the major reasons for homelessness where people with 2 jobs still cannot afford to own a home in some markets.
He's got good teeth and a nice smile though.
why can't america provide even mobile shower/laundry vans for the homeless ? why not erect public baths/toilet facilities for the homeless - cmon america, it is doable !
I dont think America is ever gonna make it easier on the homeless bc its afraid it might encourage the practice. And although I think most people are like u in that they want to help these people, they also don't want them setting up in their neighborhood.
He needs to get the heck out of LA. I became homeless 6 months ago, stayed in my van for a while, my son brought me to Illinois from Texas. He put me up for a little bit I'm on Social Security. I got a room and an astronomical price. But I have a roof over my head and I have my two little dogs and I really can't complain. But this poor man is not going to go anywhere in LA! Can't be done. There is an RV explosion going on people are living in campers cars and RVs
Shameful that rents are so high and too expensive to bare. People are too greedy. May God bless this gentleman and all the homeless community. I hope society has a plan to change things to better this situation.
