That is a sway control attachment. Usual setups have a chain type deal for the load leveling and also include a ball and joint sway arm like what you have there
Yea seems I was mixing up load leveling with sway
Your little street car looked good on John's video. You got it !!! Congratulations to Randy !!! The team is coming together !!! Good job !!!
Thanks buddy
It’s for sway control . Some kits only use one with a friction lever
Interesting never seen one only use one side. Thanks
Courtney you can put a small spring on the inside to help keep the doors closed.
Good idea!
That drop door ply has to support rolling load. So add a tread way of diamond plate to regain the strength of the heavier ply you removed.
I added braces underneath. Basically wedges cut from 2x4s. It’s just not in this video
Looks a lot better from when you first got it!!
Slowly coming together. Thanks buddy
What that does help stabilize, they call it a break. It helps keep the trailer from going side to side.
Using just one side?
@ThePaintPaperHustle yes. The other part hooks up too your truck hitch
The trailer is looking great.
Can’t wait
Hope you had a good weekend!
