Looks pretty sweet to me for a shed and just how’d I do it. Only thing I would’ve done was to add some flashing around the garage door and down the slab a little bit. But that’s me and my obsession against water intrusion.
I remember back then in construction you would see a lot of those zip tape on job site left there as trash I would go pick them up they come in handy compared to duct tape but now you don’t see that anymore.

whe doing window here in the northeast we make the opening an inch bigger for insulation. and caulk the bottom so air doesn't come in

I always get jealous of you when you say it’s cold outside. I’m working on a HDD bore pipeline job 24 days on at a time and it’s been -20 Celsius the last few days in Northern Alberta lol. Can’t wait to get back to the Okanagan to some slightly warmer winter weather and my snowbike. 24 days is up tomorrow. Off at 7pm then ten hour drive home after shift.
Love the videos Ryan. I just have to say something though, I don't believe I would go back to the shop that fixed your window. Keep up the great videos and work ethic.
I replaced glass in a casement window last year and it took several months to get the glass in but it was a double pane. Having a new window would have been quicker but more dinero. The hardest part of that job was finding a glazing bead that fit since the window company was long gone.

Just a FYI, there is a fly that is spreading in SoCal, and they don't want people transferring fruit out of quarantined areas. So i would check before you send them in your boxes, don't want you to get in trouble or fined because its on RUclips.
Sending those oranges might be more trouble than what it’s worth citrus is highly regulated in California because of the Asian citrus Psyllid that causes citrus greening!

That window cracked because the heat got trapped between the windows. If the glass has low e coating it lets the light through but repels a lot of the heat. So the repelled heat just kinda sat there.

I've been waiting for these windows to come in as if they were my own lol, but was curios why do you have two windows looking at your house and none looking at your beautiful property?
It's the seat you lay your windows on. The bottom was against something soft. The one on top was on the bottom one. So when you hit a bump a little too hard the bottom was too stiff. If you layer a pillow between the two might have not broken the lite or glass. That's what happened.

As a roofer myself, just curious why you want to do stucco before the roof? Where I’m from the roof is usually one of the first exterior finishings to get done. No worries tho. Love your videos!
I’m stuccoing the eaves and the fascia so in my mind, the roofing edge metal should go over top of that.
Have done it that way, but in my opinion (we know what that means)😂the edge to facia looked awkward next one was drip edge, wood then stucco on soffit looked good.

You should try contacting the manufacturer without installing and see if they will cover it. If we have a customer call with a broken pane before install we always get them replaced. Even after install they get replaced.

That multitool blade was pretty much brand new. The sawzaw blade was an old metal blade. I didn't want to use new one knowing it was probably going to hit the concrete.

Well you could have been waring better work foot ware, like socks and sandals, to slide off the ladder in. LOL.
Here in the cold north I use a heat gun even in summertime to make the seal tape do what I need it to.

If it’s not in the budget to use all zip tape then I will only use it in the corners to that I know there sealed and I don’t have to use a ton of zip tape

With such narrow walls on each side of the garage door opening, I'm not surprised it got racked a little out of plumb. Once your "shed" is finished, it will shame you into redoing the house to match!
Haha the guest house remodel already made me feel that way! Unfortunately the main house remodel will be very pricey! Going to have to save up for that one!

It’s getting paper and lathe for stucco. No siding
Sorry talking about your ply wood. We cover with anything sometimes tyvek or felt paper as a moisture barrier. Then lathe and stucco
