Jay’s wife was with him through it ALL during his Olympia runs. Respect
He was married? 🤔🤔
@Arnie's Tech yep. Kerri. Rumor is that she cheated. He's got a new lady now.
Unlike Tom Platz case
No respect, that worthless whore cheated on him, that’s why he got himself a new misses 😎
@@tumbleweedconnection7906even the very best get cheated on.. she probably didnt like all his muscles lol
A good back helps keep your chest in place..Great Video
Exactly!
Have you ever tried doing a few sets of rows/pull downs before a bench day? It’s maaaagical🤌🏽
@@_ghost96your talking to like a 6 time Mr. Olympia. I think he has tried almost everything and if he hasn’t then he don’t need to.
@@uppercutshurt5199 thanks man I didn’t even know that! Jesus fuck.
@@_ghost96 watch your mouth
I like Jay's calm demeanor and he doesn't come across as prideful.
Appreciate your level of humility even though you have accomplished so much! The most down to earth guy were thankful to have you teach us all these valuable insights Jay!
You said the same thing three different ways...
@@bailmasterflex I mean, they're 3 compliments that are congruent to each other. You must have some serious internal issues if you feel the need to pick people apart just for them trying to say something nice.
@@elliswilliams1050 Does being a psychology major mean you get to work the best section while waiting at Applebee's?
@@bailmasterflex let him kiss jays ass a little more😂
@@bailmasterflex it doesn't take a psychology major to see thru your miserable sad behavior. Take the L and reform your life instead of deflecting.
Btw I'm a computer science major and I make more money than most people do in my country. I'm also an auto mechanic and a performance engine tuner. But nice try. I give you 2/5 for effort.
Jay always said Ronnie killed everyone at the Olympia because of his insane back. Jay says back is his favorite to work out. Love the respect and motivation brought out by competition.
Reverse grip bent over row is a game changer for my back development. Thanks for the tips. 🙏
Jay is one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. He helped kick the sport to the next level.
Seated cable row is probably my favorite exercise of all time
Chest supported seated row is my favourite
Thanks Mr. Cutler! The one who never gave up!!!
Cutler and Coleman even after so many years still generations see them as idols show that what kind of Beasts they were in there Time. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻Just Respect nothing else for you.

I love it how for everyone there’s just those few exercises that really hits it for you.
Respect for Jay cutler for never giving up and having a steel mentality of why winners should be winners respect bro savage 💯
It's crazy how I can just watch Mr.O give me advice on back, unfiltered and well recorded. I love how technology made everything easier.
Thanks for the advice. I'm 23 now starting the gym.
People underestimate the effect having a good looking and thick back and triceps improves the look of their overall physique. I loved working back and triceps. All my gym peers focused on biceps and chest, and, while those are the beginner's focus, anyone worth their goal is going to do more back and triceps work. Your back has 20 pairs of muscles in it, your pecs, 2 pairs, 3 if you count the serratus anterior. And your triceps and forearms make up 5/7ths of your arm. It only makes sense to balance your workout according to your muscular proportions.
U are THe best at advice in bodybuilding and im a huge fan of u
Ok im doin it. Keep my reps in 8 to 12 , 2x a week. If im gonna listen to anybody this is the dude.
Get after it! 💪
Old school t bar rows are great too!
Agreed!
AGGRED BACK TRAINING IS THE BEST
Such an underrated muscle group
Also love your videos man
Your easily My favorite bodybuilder from this era
I always find Jay cutlers tip bits funny cause he recommends the basics as you should but I will never even become half his size doing a close grip cable row😂

Thanks so much JAY ! It’s awesome that you told it like it really was cause no one else EVER did ! My back has already grew from the T bar and cable rows & now thanks to Jay it’s gonna be freaking epic 🤩! Thanks Jay ! 🫡
T-Bar Rows are great 💪
MR. JAY CUTLER, SIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you, Jay! Still got it after all these years
Chin ups, dumbbell rows, RDLs, barbell rows, dumbbell pullovers
Yours makes more sense to me
This fkin dude is huge!! Huge fan of Cutler
I defintely will agree that close grip rows and underhand pull ups/lat pulldowns are the two most effective and confortable styles of those movements
Best regards from Brazil
Cheers! 🇧🇷
So awesome of this guy to share all of his knowledge...
I love his voice for some reason. It’s like a cartoon character
THANK 4 THA 3 INGREDIENTS IN BUILDING A THICK BACK BRUTHA JAY… I REALLY AM TRYING
That hits every part of za back J thanx bro
I just realized how I completely blew out my interior elbow tendons. I was doing reverse grip pull ups for a while. I just noticed even the pro mass monsters use a cable machine and not their full body weight. I've been paying that mistake off for 13 years now. They won't heal. It was fine when I was around 200 lbs but at 225, golfers elbow. Be safe out there. Think long term.
You have golfers elbow? You should be able to rehab with the right protocol
Reverse grip lat pull down
Reverse grip bent over row
Cable row close grip
Thanks Jay, you’re my favorite bodybuilder 👍
What bodybuilder..you are a Legend Cutler!💪🏻🐐 👑
Jay you are legendary status brotha. One of my top 3 favorite bodybuilders to ever do it.. much love man.
Im not sure if you have one on here, but would you upload a vid of you breakin down your favorite way to train strength? Or most effective
The aesthetic guy who beat Ronnie must be the GOAT.
Seated close grip rows are quite possibly a top 3 overall exercise
Good to know I'm doing something right. I already do this
Back day is the best day
awesome thanks
Thank you. Appreciate you sharing your expertise. Peace brother
Soon after seeing your name i subscribed your channel. No-1 body builder in this world
The "focus" is the juice. Any exercise will work.
Three back exercises for back development
1 pull the weight towards you e.g. row 2 pulling the weight up e.g. barbell dead lift rack pull
3 pulling your weight up EG chin up pulldown 👌🏻
Reverse grip barbell row is indeed better!
Great advice!
🫡
Good stuff, Jay! Love the content
Jay is one of my favorite body builder 👍💪💖
Reverse grip pull-down is the elite, jay knows
My fav bodybuilder of all time
I'm glad to see your getting around okay, I hope your aren't in the pain Ronnie is in. I know you guys have put yourselves through hell. I think you look healthier at this size more than in your competition posture. I enjoy your coaching.
Be cautious with reverse grip bent over rows. There are more risks involved in bicep tears.
Stay safe and make some gainz!
It is important to listen to your body
I like how you’re telling the four time Olympian to be careful with exercises. Know your place average bro. 😂
@@omiev1 is probably for people like me, so i appreciate the tip
@@JayCutlerTV its ironic how you say this but cant achieve full rom without assistance or dont achieve full rom at all… listen to your body…
If you can achieve full ROM with a reverse grip and move the weight under control, without momentum, you have no risk of tearing anything.
One arm movement is soo important to bild a big back
Thanks for Your Legacy Champ!
Always listen to Jay!
This man is giving away DIAMONDS
One arm db row is your favorite !!
Same here, I love back day.
Thank you! Good advice!
Thanks A Lot Sir...
Great Video😊
Jay is a likeable human being
never thought of reverse grip for pulldowns , gotta try it now !
If you do them, try to focus on your elbow because it’s not supposed to be a curl motion. Drive the elbows down 💪
@@josephfox869 hey i appreciate it , gonna try ‘em out tomorrow man o7
I use both grips. Changes things up
@@josephfox869excellent advice💪🏽🎯
Love you Jay!
One of the best backs i've seen

It's crazy how big Jay got while training like a high school freshman lol
Back-chin ups,barbell rows,seated rows
You can really tell Chris Acedos training stuck deep with day and he carries it till this day
just noticed all these are lats dominant, jay do really love lats!
One the best Mr o ever
Thank you bro
I like back days as welll
Love these videos
Great list!!
Was surprised pull ups not on the list :D
Pulls ups are different when you’re that big no way he’d be able to reach adequate volume and time under tension
Still a great movement!
Thank u Legende❤💪🏾
How someone would enjoy being that size and shape is mind boggling
Can't believe how he still maintain such a big mass even after retiring for so long.
I’ll take his word for it.
Big Leo training back...makes sense to me. awesome.
feels good to see ya sir
