Paul was a classmate. On New Year's Eve 1968, I gave him a ride on my motorcycle to a party on Longboat Key. We were never great friends, but I liked him quite a bit. He was just a nice guy. I was very happy he found fame and fortune in Hollyweird. i did cry when I heard he passed. I was very disturbed he was ill for 6 years with cancer. That means in this clip, he was suffering from cancer. He once needed bail, was about $20 short, and his friend, working for the sheriffs dept, gave the last $20 to make bail. She got sent home for a day. Seems only family can do that if you are on the force. When he did come home to Sarasota, he hung out with the very same friends he had from high school. He was one of a kind, and he should not have had to suffer 6 years from cancer. It wasn't fair. A decent guy.
