I'm still real impressed PG came back and still continues to play at an all star level. Sometimes I forget he even has that injury.
Scary AF injury
It’s crazy. They’re both in the same draft and both had such a serious leg injury
@@rirililyriri5765genuinely the second scariest sporting injury I’ve seen, Anderson Silva leg kick that broke his own leg is up there and another ufc fighter I forget the name but just some brutal breaks
@@mattpassos5689 nah ik that shit man but with PG it even had his whole body weight on that leg smh. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Could you imagine how much better he’d be if he didn’t break it……. That’s a scary thought
Watching that live on tv was horrifying 😭
He’s my favorite player and he was so young I cried watching it cuz I thought he was done for
Both of their injuries
Bro dudes was literally crying after see Hayward injury
@@showtimesportsmedia6906 happens when you see your favorite player struggling, imagine seeing that player go through a possible career ending injury that serious, if you're making fun of it then you're just an asshole tbh 🤷🏻♂️
Was at the game of the PG injury fuc
I still remember seeing his foot twisted and the horrified look on Tristan Thomason’s face. Scary stuff
Someone said Gordon looks like a white version of Kobe and I can’t unsee it
Lmao dammmmmmn yoU RIGHT
aeyyyyy💀💀
I see it now 😂
I can’t unsee it either now
S/o to both of yall for continuing to still go out there and give the game what you have!! Words really can’t describe the toughness and dedication to your craft 💯
It’s crazy how similar their injuries are
they are also of the same draft class and got picked consecutively (PG @ 9, Hayward @ 10). Small world man
You can still remember the terror on even the Cavs players when leg broke. Worst TV experience for me. That Celtics team could have been really special...
I agree. I’m not on an elite level athlete as these dudes, no way. But I did fully tear my Achilles tendon when I was at my prime age of 26 years old. Jumping out of the gym, quick as hell, just in top shape in all aspects. Volleyball is my sport. Tore it while pushing off to run after a shanked pass. Thought someone stepped on my heel but I heard a loud snap. Felt it through my body. The gym went quiet. I remember feeling really confused because I could not stand or walk right. No pain in the first minute or so. But when tried to push off my left toes and fell forward, that’s when I knew. I remember that feeling of nervousness, frustration and fear all at once. I knew that if I tore it completely, I wouldn’t be the same springy and quick player. Most likely would lose half my athleticism. I was bummed. My friends were bummed for me. I can relate to them when they mentioned the confidence and knowing that your body wouldn’t be the same. The sheer doubt in the back of your mind is the biggest part. Scary especially after a terrible injury. I can’t imagine how these guys felt especially because it’s their jobs. Luckily they are paid extremely well. As for me just normal dude running a small business out of work for 3 months was brutal.
Must've sucked, hope you're alright now
Gordon Hayward looks so glad that he can share this with someone who can relate.
2 out of like 5 injuries I seen in nba history i can’t ever watch again ever like I can feel the pain when I see both they injuries
I seen Shaun Livingston injury too and it was just as gruesome
Two of the most horrifying injuries in the history of our game, PG came back and actually had a MVP candidate year for OKC. Hayward came back and after a few years finally got back to averaging 15 ppg with the hornets. Two tough, resilient dudes. Especially when you consider the money they have made, must be tough to find motivation after a crazy injury
Prime Hayward was a beast
Yep 👍 !
that’s why KD’s achilles injury is so impressive cuz he came back the same player if not better
someone said he look like
kobe, and i can’t unsee it
😂😂😂 bro fr
PG and Hayward's injuries stick with me the most
Add Shawn Livingston to that list 😢
Man the fact that these two can relate on something like this ….
I watched it happen still can remember when it happened till this day
Both studs. Gordon was such a beast prior to the injury. Still good now but I understand with what they are both saying because they both went through it. You’re never really the same.
Two of the most horrific basketball injuries. Wishing yall good health.
Getting the severe 90° Gumby© leg is something serious. Big ups to these guys. 🙏🏾
I can’t look at either of them without seeing that scene good god
I always see these two in the sports injury highlights.
I love both of them
Hayward is right.. i also got injured major operation.. you need 3 years before you can get back and move well like its nothing happen to your body.. this is my 4th year now since i got fatal injury.. and this year my confidence back i play explosive again.. because your Brain needs also to healed for the truma of getting injured evry time you play.. i think thats the hardest part ..
Injuries as catastrophic as they experienced don't just change you as a player. They change you as a person.
saw that one on tv and was there when Nurkic fucked his leg up , it’s like a shockwave of sadness rushed up the stadium
Bring on shaun livingston too.. he came back from injury and was a big part of the warriors teams.
I remember watching both and being shook each time. You can put them both in the D Rose categories of what-ifs.
PG having the athleticism he has now is insane given the injury he had. Like this dude can still go in between the legs, 360 dunk.
That's tough😕...
I felt the same way after I caught my 1st case. Couldn't sell hard anymore... last that fearlessness. Had to pivot to only having the soft.
What’s up with pgs hairline😂
It's tough
The year PG won MVP was something else
ExFuckingcuse me?
This😂😂😂
MY man what multiverse are you from 🤣
@@supremeleem9488bros jumping timelines
The white mamba
I remember both of their injuries
I had pins through a shattered left forearm and to this day like 20 years later I still can't move my left arm the same way I can my right arm.
why pg mean muggin him like that lmaoooo
Like you said at the very end a football player or basketball player knows very well how important that explosion is..... I mean look at Bo Jackson look at Derrick Rose... It is no joke when you get severely injured and lose all that explosion....
This is exactly why if I could only pick one ability from any player I would pick Steph’s shooting cause I’ll always be able to shoot no matter how my lower body feels
Klay dealing with this
Same with D rose
I honestly couldn't get myself to watch this full episode because I just know it gets too real on so many different topics these 2 players ppl don't realize, 1 how good they were n was goin to b, n 2 how much they've endured n been around that would change how ppl think about players n situations in the nba
Damn I tore my Achilles junior yr ts changed my life
PG talking like he out of the league and 45 years old reminiscing over his career
PG obviously never got his bounce all the way back but he did become a better all around scorer.
Who knows how good PG woulda been without the injury
People saying PG got better after the injury didn’t watch him during the 2011-2013 seasons. He was on track to being top 10 all time
Anyone notice Hayward looks a little Kobe
PG coming back from that and actually becoming a better player than before is actually crazy impressive. Makes you think if that injury never happened what he would look like now
This guy look like the white boy friend from Nickelodeon and master p's tv show Romeo.... Lmao
Tbh lebron is so lucky even with his recovery methods and genetic, because pg is a what could be lebron if he ever had those kinds of injuries
Get d rose on this podcast
Scary Injury
💙🙏🏽😞
😢
🥀
PG competed! Against Lebron wade and bosh
Injury helped PG
pg13 only “so much better/more complete” than pg24 was cuz he was so young and was going to improve leaps and bounds
Wassup with pg headline
Lebron just dunked on pg
What do you mean “probably”
It was one of the worst plays I’ve ever witnessed first Pg in the USA trials then Gordon 2 years later it was awful, seeing PG go from 360 tomahawks to barely doing windmills. Crazy thing is He still can jump it’s just not like pg24

Tv
Doesn't really matter bro. Not like u can beat Lebron when u are fully healthy anyway 😅😅😅
Paul George has lip injections
Are you gay? Why you staring at another man’s lips like that?
H😅😅😅😅
