There’s nothing wrong with knowing eachother before marriage as long as the sister is in full hijab and theres no haram activities (Touching, kissing etc). You cannot always have mahram a third person with you. Sometimes the third person becomes a shaytan and creates problems between the couple who is trying to know each other (eg jealousy)

But I really wanna get married because I’m young and I’m university and I’m getting temptation to do haram things but I want to avoid this by getting married. Do you think 18 is too young? I mean in todays time I dont think 18 is EVER ready. If you want to marry you have to take upon yourself the duty of a husband, father and bearer of bread. Lets say you have the moral and mature capacity for marriage (which i doubt bcz that is scientifically proven to only come when the frontal part of your brain develops at rhe age of 25..but lets say) Then you wont be having the money to take care of a household.. If you ain't a millionaire I cant see how you have the money. It costs a lot to keep a family going. Rather finish your university studies and get a decent job where you have a stable economy. Then go read up about parenting and marriage in islam and learn some household chores. If your sole reason for marrying NOW is because you are scared of temptation..then you are not ready. Rather fast a lot.
Do not be discouraged by the fact that you don’t have any income , Allah said he will provide for two people who marry for his sake .. it better to seek the will of Allah seek wealth because in marriage Allah may provide you with all the sustenance you need .. Tell your mother she’s hurting you and you’ll end up with mental health problems if she forces this marriage. It’s your life, you don’t want to waste away in some unhappy marriage. Kuwaiti women who marry non Kuwaitis loose a lot of their social rights, my children will be Egyptian even if they are born and raised in Kuwait all their lives, and once they are 21 if they don’t find a job they will be deported. Because you are getting ro know each other and have not made any commitment to marry, you are both free to walk away. Obviously explain that to the person humbly and politely and just say you are too different or something like that. Even at the time of your nikkah you can decline so when you interact with another person or ask a question, it can always go 2 ways. Positive or negative. Yes or no. So make clear before any contact that the purpose is to get to know each other and then see how that goes. It is not a proposal.

Sister Muslim men can have upto 4 wives, if that so, then you didn’t lose anything, he can still be yours. What you need to do is, ask him to make you his second wife ONLY if it is acceptable for you. Islam is the solution to every problems and Subhanallah Allah gave you chance to be his wife even though he’s married. So, do istikhara and go and ask him to make you his second wife
If you're ready to be his second wife then go for it. But remember there's this ugly thing called jealousy which will eventually arise between you and his first wife. He is supposed to give equal care to both of you even if he loves one more the another. Otherwise it's wrong (read the Quranic verse that talks about multiple wives and the equality) Ask yourself are you ready to see him look after both of you? If you stop him from looking after her or spending time with her then you're going against the teachings

The criteria is given..his not here to micro manage...we have enough common sense and intelligence to navigate.. all parties need to respect each others boundaries and give eachother the rights.. so parents need to be open minded so that children can reach out to them, and not control the outcome but guide them into what is important in a spouse..think it's quite simple..whilst we can make it difficult due to some cultural aspects we need to let go off.. noone will tick all the boxes.. have to understand what you see as good and of value.. ie an empathic spouse, and be the same..

I always prayed to have a spouse just the way I want ( in appearance,in character, in emotionally, in how he will treat me), now I came to know one boy who wants to marry me and my family his family has consent also even they got me engage with him (without my consent , from the very first I have said I don't like this boy because of his height which is 5 ft 2 cos I always wanted to be my husband at least 5 ft 5 inch tall not less then, my height is 4 ft 9 inch ) and others signs also saying may be he is the one but I am having problem to accept because of his appearances.. Choose a time and have siblings or a family member r with you who supports you when you approach your parents . In Islam it even mentions attraction is necessary if it’s not there and you don’t find the person pleasing to look at you will lack intimacy and the marriage could fail . Also you will not be happy you should be happy too right? But if you are attracted to him and the only issue is his height consider if you can overlook this . If it’s a real bugbear and you will constantly compare him to others this is unfair to him, best not marry him.

Marriage has to be announced in a society at all costs otherwise it can potentially damage the repute of the man and woman. Secret marriages must not take place. In fact, nikah in itself encompasses an open announcement that it has taken place.
However, once a marriage has taken place in this fashion, it is up to a court of law to decide whether it should continue or be annulled keeping in view all the circumstances. We cannot give rulings unless a case is closely studied. Likewise implementation of a decision in this regard also rests on competent authorities of a state.

Now, I don’t know if English is your primary language dear brother/sister, but I can assure you, as a native English speaker myself, that the “adore” is a quite common word, and I have never heard it used even once to mean “worship” in my entire life. Among the public sphere, it is virtually always used in the meaning of “to love & cherish something dearly” about 100% of the time. It is also the same word from which “adorable” comes from (which is another extremely common word). And I promise you that when someone says “your baby is adorable!,” they don’t mean that the baby is worthy of worship!
So I think it’s just excessive and unnecessary to prevent ourselves and prevent other people from using certain words just because a religious connotation of that word exists somewhere in the dictionary. That is simply unreasonable. In fact, by that logic, you must have a problem with the Quran, which uses words such as “sajdah” in relation to God, as well as in relation to creatures (such as the angels doing sujūd to Adam).
In fact, this has been a controversial statement of the Quran, which has led to confusion among some, and even false claims that the Quran promotes the worship of humans! (which is obviously false & ridiculous). But the logic of such ignorant people who say this is unfortunately the same as your logic here-which is one that refuses to acknowledge that a single word can have various dimensions & contextual meanings to it, and yet that it is OK to use such a word in those multiple ways (As God Almighty Himself does).
In fact, the Arabic word “sajdah” is a perfect example of this, because it can actually be sufficiently translated as “worship” or “adoration” (in addition to “prostration”), as I believe some well-recognized translations of the Quran do in fact translate it as such. Therefore, whereas the angels were commanded to pay their respects, reverence, and adoration (sujūd) towards Adam, so too does the entire creation give worship, devotion, and divine veneration (same word-sujūd) towards God Almighty. The Quran uses this one single term in both contexts and nuanced meanings-one human & one divine.
So I hope you understand what I’m saying. May God Almighty increase us all in knowledge, and guide us along the straight & upright path. Peace!

There’s nothing wrong with knowing eachother before marriage as long as the sister is in full hijab and theres no haram activities (Touching, kissing etc). You cannot always have mahram a third person with you. Sometimes the third person becomes a shaytan and creates problems between the couple who is trying to know each other (eg jealousy)
With the 2 people alone the 3rd will always be Satan, so don't know what you're tryna establish. The 3rd person could be bad but not always. So select the 3rd person wisely for your Halal date

18 isn't too young to get married as long as you do do the duties of a husband.
I mean in todays time I dont think 18 is EVER ready. If you want to marry you have to take upon yourself the duty of a husband, father and bearer of bread.
Lets say you have the moral and mature capacity for marriage (which i doubt bcz that is scientifically proven to only come when the frontal part of your brain develops at rhe age of 25..but lets say)
Then you wont be having the money to take care of a household..
If you ain't a millionaire I cant see how you have the money. It costs a lot to keep a family going.
Rather finish your university studies and get a decent job where you have a stable economy. Then go read up about parenting and marriage in islam and learn some household chores.

Do not be discouraged by the fact that you don’t have any income , Allah said he will provide for two people who marry for his sake .. it better to seek the will of Allah seek wealth because in marriage Allah may provide you with all the sustenance you need .. And it good that you are will to follow the sunnah of the prophet to marry in order to avoid the fitna of this world other may discourage you but seek Allah to facilitate you.. to provide you a spouse that can fulfill your other half... better first make our self responsible.. then be bold and start the conversation, in starting u may get som negativity but after some days try again 2nd time and third time,, that will become normal for them,.. this actually happend in my case
Talk to your mother if not dad ...it's a big problem now days, parents can't find a better person for us , and we wonder if someone even knows that I exist ...well, you 'll have your partner by the will of Allah...marriages are already made , it will reach in due course of time

I don’t have anyone in mind but I don’t want to marry the person they chose for me..they didn’t even ask me. I told them I don’t want to marry him but all they say tht it’s about family or that I’m a disgrace and it hurts me alot! Tell your mother she’s hurting you and you’ll end up with mental health problems if she forces this marriage.

Kuwaiti women who marry non Kuwaitis loose a lot of their social rights, my children will be Egyptian even if they are born and raised in Kuwait all their lives, and once they are 21 if they don’t find a job they will be deported. The Quran speaks about the consent of the one marrying.. a woman can not be forced against her will that is going against the religion.. give them the ayats to help them understand their guidance is welcomed but not the forced decision..even though partners mean well, sadly rhey don't get it right allf be time..neither to the two involved because no one understands it's tough, without reciprocity and mutual effort from both.. it takes two understanding and reflective humans beings to bind and develop the spousal relationship.

Because you are getting ro know each other and have not made any commitment to marry, you are both free to walk away. Obviously explain that to the person humbly and politely and just say you are too different or something like that. Even at the time of your nikkah you can decline so when you interact with another person or ask a question, it can always go 2 ways. Positive or negative. Yes or no. So make clear before any contact that the purpose is to get to know each other and then see how that goes. It is not a proposal.

If you accept polygamy then he can take you for a second wife, eitehr way his family doesn’t want you and he seems easily led, did they force him to marry that girl ? Did he not have a vicur to refuse etc ? .

Sister Muslim men can have upto 4 wives, if that so, then you didn’t lose anything, he can still be yours. What you need to do is, ask him to make you his second wife ONLY if it is acceptable for you. Islam is the solution to every problems and Subhanallah Allah gave you chance to be his wife even though he’s married. So, do istikhara and go and ask him to make you his second wife
If you're ready to be his second wife then go for it. But remember there's this ugly thing called jealousy which will eventually arise between you and his first wife. He is supposed to give equal care to both of you even if he loves one more the another. Otherwise it's wrong (read the Quranic verse that talks about multiple wives and the equality)
Ask yourself are you ready to see him look after both of you? If you stop him from looking after her or spending time with her then you're going against the teachings

The criteria is given..his not here to micro manage...we have enough common sense and intelligence to navigate.. all parties need to respect each others boundaries and give eachother the rights.. so parents need to be open minded so that children can reach out to them, and not control the outcome but guide them into what is important in a spouse..think it's quite simple..whilst we can make it difficult due to some cultural aspects we need to let go off.. noone will tick all the boxes.. have to understand what you see as good and of value.. ie an empathic spouse, and be the same..

What if you have looked for a spouse and you find no match for yourself or keep getting rejections by the girls' parents? Seems like it's hard to find a muslim spouse in the West, from same cultural background, with similar hobbies/interests. Matrimonial sites have very few options.

I always prayed to have a spouse just the way I want ( in appearance,in character, in emotionally, in how he will treat me), now I came to know one boy who wants to marry me and my family his family has consent also even they got me engage with him (without my consent , from the very first I have said I don't like this boy because of his height which is 5 ft 2 cos I always wanted to be my husband at least 5 ft 5 inch tall not less then, my height is 4 ft 9 inch ) and others signs also saying may be he is the one but I am having problem to accept because of his appearances.. I just cant take it.. I am trying hard ( he is good at other way, education behave etc) .. But whenever I see someone better looking him it makes me feel envious,regret.. And always ask why it has to be him or why not he looks like the way I always wanted my spouse to be look like.... At the end I realized its Qadr of Allah!!! Which becoming very hard for me!!
now I have decided ,I am never gonna ask anything in my prayer from Allah ..its no use, in the end Allah will give me what Allah wants to give me !!!

wow thats not very muslim to be hesitant to marry a guy because he aint as tall as you expect that is just superficial and very selfish if you ask me he has no control over his height yet you said he is good at other way, education behave etc,
when the wife of the prophet moussa first met him he helped her and her sister then went to her father to ask to hire him(she was interested in him because he helped meaning good faith)the father seeing this allowed him to marry her because he saw in him 3 qualities and values:
_strength of charachter(hard working etc)
_respectful
_trustworthy

imagine you have a son and he is not that tall would you like him to be with a woman that sees him like this?thats very mean(that is dolm and allah knows best) i hope he will never come across this comment of yours because if it hurts me a regular person i cant imagine how he would feel
sister you should check your iman and expectations if you dont want to be with him tell him dont waste his time or break his heart let him go because if he is a respectful hard working man he should be with a woman that values that and is not superficial
if a woman loves a man she would not care about his height(plus he is taller than you but you still want him taller...)

@@zakiaitslimane658 I know I was being superficial and all, not liking someone because of their height is not so good character, but what I felt I felt... I Couldn't control my feelings.. I Couldn't notice his good things cos his height used comes in the way... I know, I should work on my iman and I am trying to do it.. Trying to pure my nafs as much as possible.. But still I feel, I wont be able to accept someone like him...
There is number of boys who is rejecting girls proposal based on their looks.. If for.boys his spouse beauty can be normal why cant for girls it be normal
.. I know, I know islam doesn’t says us to select spouse based on their looks.. But how will you be with someone or take responsibility to be with someone whem you dont even feel mere attachment or liking towards that person...
What I felt for him that time if someone else felt for me and would forced to marry me, I would never like it.. I would have felt bad and insecure...

News is I am suffering Because what I have done, still trying to purify my nafs which I think I should try harder cos I cant find any improvement, hoping forgiveness, asking dua.. Cos Allah is not santa.. But he is my only hope, he is the only one to whom I ask help and submit myself , he is the only one who can sort my problem best possible way
@@kanijfatema5127 don’t feel bad if you don’t feel physically attracted to him in any way do not marry him. Choose a time and have siblings or a family member r with you who supports you when you approach your parents . In Islam it even mentions attraction is necessary if it’s not there and you don’t find the person pleasing to look at you will lack intimacy and the marriage could fail . Also you will not be happy you should be happy too right?
But if you are attracted to him and the only issue is his height consider if you can overlook this . If it’s a real bugbear and you will constantly compare him to others this is unfair to him, best not marry him.
