No wonder istakarah was negative the man isn't good his family disaprove of me because culture difference and age difference there's blessing why things didn't happen.
someone wants to marry me, he has known me since highschool, so its been over 10 years.. but i have not once feel a connection with him, idk how to tell him without hurting his feeling cuz he has helped me with money related during covid.. plus, my heart actually like someone else from afar.. this person that i like from afar, makes me energized and motivated cuz he has this positive aura so i become more active in working out and eating healthy instead of just focusing in prayer, i also now focus on my health too which is also sunnah, right? but i told my highschool friend that i will make istikhara for him and he is so happy and hopeful that i feel guilty.. this guy that i like, i once made a prayer asking for a clear sign that i can understand cuz im slow in taking hint and I was sure Allah sent me a sign for that guy and i am now in focusing in myself knowing in the back of my mind that Allah has answered me and it is just his timing that i should be patient for.. im confusedd
You are confused sister because you have misunderstood istikarah, we should be performing istikarah in regards to marriage when we have made a decision to proceed with the marriage, after consultation and thinking if we feel the decision is right or not, after we seek counsel from Allah i.e perform istikarah Allah SWT will by his mercy facilitate it if it is good for us, ie make it easy for the marriage to happen, or make the pathway difficult/and or we will be turned off from pursuing that path. Sister if you have friends that are men this is not halal and will not be pleasing to Allah SWT, please break off all contact with any men who are not your mehrams. P
@@emma647 i do not contact with any of my male friends unless for important reasons lol they know me from either highschool or university or at my previous or current workplace.. how can i even get married at all if im supposed to hide under a blanket, sis? I dont need to stay in contact with them cuz all of our connections follow each other's Instagram.. we all just do our daily life but they know i exist is all.. it's so weird how i should not let myself be known that i exist then how can people know that im still single if i wanna get married
Actually nothing is confusing after praying istikhara, we just get the answer that do not satisfy us, so we prefer to be confused rather than to admit it directly .
I did istikhara to leave my husband because we had a big quarrel.i was thinking to get separated as i was furious.i did istikhara and we are not resolved yet.Because somehow we are away from each other(hes in other country).i have a kid with him,i want to stay,tho its abusive rn but i want it to be better.how can i tell if my istikhara was yes or no
@elsash1586 so maybe Allah put distance between you for a reason to give some time. Basically we pray istikhara after we make a decision and then during the process Allah guides us, if it's better to divorce he will make it easy for you, if better to stay with him He will prevent it. But still lf u think u are not sure pray two more times, I heard some ppl pray till 7. Allah knows better, wish you all the best 🤗
A sister had isthikharaa before marriage...had positive istikhaara...and married it...had childeen...his husband.a daee, do itekaaf during ramadaan,fasting,5 tines namaazi.... At the same time her husband cheater her,blamed her...propaganda her within his family and friends circle.. He is not taking care his wife.and children...not sending money for their.education... He always use InshaAllah ... But no intentions to do for his wife and children.. ...can you pls tel us...what's the moral of istekhaara?

First you need to know when to pray Istikhara. In the case of obligatory worship, one cannot say whether it is right or wrong by praying Istikhara. A person is obliged to perform the obligatory acts without praying Istikhara. In the same way, Istikhara cannot be done for sins. Because, without Istikhara, A Muslim is obliged to give up sin. Istikhara is to be done in mubah and lawful matters where you do not know what is good for you and what is bad for you. In these cases, the work that will be easy and can be completed by doing Istikhara, was to understand that it was good for you. Example, should I buy this house, should I go to London, Should I marry this woman etc. have to be decided through Istikhara. In the other hand, Should I pray or not, go to the mosque or not, there is no opportunity to do Istikhara in these cases. A Muslim is obliged to do these things.

Meaning you should find another job if that job prevent you from Jumaat
