    Unfortunately, here in Wisconsin anything over 50 inches wide you receive a fine if you’re caught I just took my sportsman out to 50 inches and that’s where it’s gonna stay because that is the maximum width we can run

      A fine, wow! I cant believe they would actually fine someone over that...

      @@JohnFrancoNH our ATV trails share with snowmobile trails so they set a limit of 50 inches on ATVs

    Triangle atv stealth snorkles even though they are for the older 850s they work with the newer ones, I have it on my 18 850

      They dont show any pics of the actual kits installed, kind of annoying. I want to see what i would pay $225 plus shipping for?

    I would upgrade to stainless steel bolts on the wheels. They will also look better.

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Год назад

      I agree. The ones supplied with the ITP beadlocks do develop surface rust on the bolt heads once they get banged up

    Please do a complete review on the black waters. I just picked up my 22 xp1000 ultimate trail and I’m kinda stuck between the mud lite 2s and black waters. My can am also had itp terracross which were great to me most of the time but they only go to 26 inch sizing

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  2 года назад +1

      Blackwater EVOs all day over the mudlites. Mudlites are not durable as the blackwaters. Its probably the greatest aggressive all around tire there is that still rides pretty smooth when air up properly. You will be very happy with the EVOs believe me. The terra cross are great but cant handle the deep stuff as nice as the EVOs with its 1" lug. I have a few videos of them on my playlist. Check them out.

    On my Sportsman XP 1000 I just added EPI 1 1/2" wheelspacers and the EPI fit great with no cutting and with my 4 XTR 27x11x14 on 4 OEM rear 7.5x14 it's 53" now. I just cut the frame and added 5" so I have a 58" wheelbase, who needs a Sportsman S ? LOL

    do you consider the black water tire as a good all around tires, like in sand and rocks

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  29 дней назад

      yes its up there with Maxxis Bighorns as a great all around tire. Blackwater evos have the edge tho with slightly deeper lugs

    What was the foot pounds of torque you used to put the spacer to the quad. I know you showed it it went by too fast.

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  10 месяцев назад

      same as what you set your wheels to. I go 60 ft lbs, 70 is what polaris recommends, but that will break wheel studs if you do. Its too much studs cant take 70 ft lbs. its a common polaris issue

    Hey brother, I have a 2022 Polaris 1000 Sportsman XP and I'm wanting to install the 1" wheel spacers. Could you please tell me where you bought yours and the product name and part number? Thank you!

    Well this is a update on my Sportsman XP 1000 with 1 1/2 " wheelspacers it was Horrible , I already saw that having a XTR 27x11x14 on the front made life harder for me and machine at 50" wide then add 1 1/2 wheelspacers to make it 53" wide the kick back was unbearable even so much that my EPS was over heating and quiting and even on the paved road I my Sportsman XP 1000 it would go into a Death Wobble at about 30 mph and all most take the bars out of my hands so not a fun day so the wheelspacers have been removed on the front and even going to replace the 1 1/2 " wheelspacers on the back with 1" so it about the same with the cause the front was wider to start with.

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  3 года назад

      Yeah 11 wide in front is way too much weight to be trying to steer. Thats why you got the death wobble...1" with normal 9 wide in front is perfect on mine. Increase fronts to 9-10 psi to make steering easier.
