This needs way more attention, this is honestly one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen, so cool and love the way you documented it so we could all see the process
At the end, after you pressed the off button, I just stay there. Not saying a word, just, dumbfounded. I got emotional during the end, and I know that sounds silly because it’s over a LEGO film behind the scenes video, but it just made me think. You spent 7-8 years on an animation you were creating for almost your entire childhood. You’re the creator of something that I loved, something that can be considered as one of the best Brickfilms of all time, and that ending, that last button click, made be stop. I wonder what it would be like; making an entire film throughout your life. I wonder how much time you would spent filming, working your ass off as you get slightly closer every photo you take. So much time, so much effort. Thank you, thank you so much.
I remember when my brother first showed me the first two episodes of this, and every few months after that I’d check to see if a new episode had come out. Watching the whole series has been a defining part of my love for LEGO over the years.
Marin, I remember seeing you when you and your family made the Varia Suit, and I was amazed at that. (Still am, it's quite good). but to do this for so long, it's actually very inspiring to see someone I looked into for awesome things to have this much dedication to do other really neat things and to follow them through despite hiatuses or delays, etc. I admit, I'm genuinely happy to see that you made it to where you're at now, simply amazing! Thanks for sticking with what you loved doing, I'm curious as to what your next step is =D Regards That guy who asked about making a gravity suit 7 years or so ago ^_^
What a great effort. Amazing resilience. And I enjoyed the behind the scenes take on it - you had a vision and made it a reality. That's a good lesson for life - keep putting that vision out there.
I searched full length Lego stop-motion movies for inspiration for my full length movie. And... wow. That's all I can say. This was one of the best Lego stop-motions that I've seen. This inspired me, big time. Don't stop making stop-motions! I hope this is one of many epic movies.
I love this. It is an inspiration to the people that see themselves in you, where you were, how you started from scratch, how you put in the work day after day. It is the reality of growing up, but not losing that passion. The uncertainty of pursuing college and keeping the dream alive. PAIRD deserves every view, share, and mention it can get. I hope it has been worth it and I thank you for sticking with it to the end. PAIRD is more than a brickfilm, it is a legacy. If you could have done ONE thing different from the start, what would you change?
hey thanks for the inspiration on making a big Lego movie, i just have a questions like what kind of camera is that and how do you get dragonframe on to your laptop???
This is insane. I just wanted to say that Tyler the creators stop motion made me want to watch more and this is the first one I clicked on. I’m about to watch the actual video now. Congrats guys
Man really spent 8 years... 8 YEARS. This man created one of the greatest stopmotion films I’ve ever seen. Congrats on being so successful. Amazing work of art.
Wow I watched the movie and have been begging my parents to watch it! Since I know the struggles of animation and building, money, all of the above! I respect you!
I just watch this and oh my god this is the most amazing bts of a lego movie and it’s the most beautiful and badass stop motion movie I’ve ever scene on RUclips I’m now going to make a spider man movie and this video is going to be in my mind for the rest of the time I’m making it Good job man the movie was awesome!!!!!
My son found and loves PAIRD. Thankfully the algorithm recommended something interesting; this making of video. I have worked over two decades in the film and visual effects industry and watching this was inspiring even to me. Especially to me. I think the world looks forward to what you produce next.
Massive, massive congrats to you for undertaking such a great and huge project. I can relate to eight years of working on a film such as this, and believe me, its very difficult work to do a film on this scale. Massive congratulations to you and I want to wish you all the very best on the film and hope it turns out fantastic for you. The very best of luck.
Dude... I usually get lazy and don't make a full length film so I searched up how to get patience to make a stopmotion like this and oh my God. I will always use this video as inspiration for my films.
still watching in 2023 as a stop motion animator myself im very impressed with all of it there's no way i can spent 8 years even 5 years working on one stop motion that's crazy to me but the video got over 1 million views so all your hard work was worth it in the end brotha
I've been working on a brickfilm of a similar scale for the past 2 years now and every time I feel like giving up on it, I watch this video and it inspires me yet again the same way it did when I watched it for the first time. I have probably watched this video a little over a hundred times now along with the movie. Paird is by far the best brickfilm of all time. Thank you for blessing humanity with this wonderful work of art.
It is crazy watching this. Reminds me of my early days starting this channel. I can't believe how dedicated you were to this one project. Very impressive and brings me back. Thank you for this.
I know that must have been hard but I hope to see you do it again because it must have taken pure determination And it had a good story at least I think so
I mean this is crazy bro I couldn’t even imagine how accomplished you feel, I’ve done brickfilms but I DEFINETLY haven’t even attempted anything like this (btw I’m working on one now I MIGHT post it sometime soon depends on if I finish it lol 😂) I watched the whole movie a while ago and it’s probably the coolest brickfilm I’ve ever seen!
Wow. Absolutely inspiring, bro. Amazing detication to ur work. That's what I like to see right there. I'm working on some LEGO ANIMATION myself n o.m.g. I know the time it takes so.....keep it up bro. I'm subbed!!!💯💯🤯🏰

Agree With you man .... Stop motion is one Gold in the Life ... it made anything alive .... It need huge of effort and time investment ... no kidding .... I become this guy ... Big FANS now .... no kidding ... Love u sooo much 🥺🥺🥺
This is awesome. It reminds me when I first started brick filming, it was just trial and error and learning as I go from when I started I was like 12 and now I’m 24 and I took a few breaks in life but I still pursue it to this day even though I have wanted to quit in the past and no matter what I always came back. So congrats on you for not giving up and sticking to it. I wish you the best in your career. Never listen to the naysayers and always do what makes you happy and you’ll never want to stop. If you ever want to collab or do a voice or need a voice let me know. Cheers

I think that's because it is a documentary. Lol
He's got a knack for it. His other work shows that.
It's been an adventure and an honor, my good sir.
Wow
Truly inspiring, very few people actually have the will to work on a project for so long.

Hi cad
I remember when my brother first showed me the first two episodes of this, and every few months after that I’d check to see if a new episode had come out. Watching the whole series has been a defining part of my love for LEGO over the years.
The amount of detection this took is mental
Yeah I know, the film was amazing and dedicated was insane

Yes it crazy, and so happy he stuck to the idea, also I’m the 69th like, nice. 😏

Oof, would definitely say nail that script down before shooting lol. But disliking the script you wrote when you were 12 is inevitable I suppose.
WHY are there 4 dislikes?!?!?!
THAT is great!! GREAT JOB man!! :D
Just a wild guess but maybe because it took 8 years. Not a great production time frame.
hey thanks for the inspiration on making a big Lego movie, i just have a questions like what kind of camera is that and how do you get dragonframe on to your laptop???
Also i made a stop motion for 3 years and it wasn't done too
