Don’t really agree with Squitter’s placement. I like controlling as him way more than the ostrich. I also love 1 way more than 3. Recently replayed 3 again and I just don’t see myself coming back to it nearly as much as the other two.
The 3rd games SNES soundtrack did nothing for me. There was maybe 2 DK feeling songs. David Wise redid it for the GameBoy which was cool. The 3rd enemies annoyed me being 1 color each. The 3rd was clearly made for the GameBoy since the N64 had just come out.
Honestly, no! I didn’t even own a Genesis until just a few years ago. Just didn’t have an interest in retro games until the mid-2010s, when I had already played most of the SNES stuff I wanted in places like Virtual Console and GBA ports.
@@WadeSilver Ah okay. Yeah, I didn't get a Genesis of my own until my college years. For the most part, I've been a Nintendo and PlayStation kid growing back in the day. The only Sega system I knew at the time was the Dreamcast. Didn't get a Dreamcast of my own until recently along with a dozen games or so. Did you ever play Dreamcast back in the day, pick one up at launch or did you not get a Dreamcast until many years after discontinuation like I did?
@@G.L.999 Admittedly I still don’t even have a Dreamcast. Been looking at them online, but I don’t feel a need to grab one until I have a specific game I want to play on it.
@@WadeSilver Along with Blue Stinger, Soul Weaver, Shenmue, Headhunter and Evil Twin(via import from Europe), Super Magnetic Neo, D2, Gigawing 1 & 2, and Ooga Booga to name some more off the back of my head would also work wonders for a good Dreamcast collection.
I love the way you review and talk about games and have been longing for a new one!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who prefers 3 to 1 ( although 1 is my favorite to speed through, I occasionally speedrun it ).
I get the fan hype over DKC 2, it's a good sequel, but I like DKC 3 more than 2.
Great video Wade!
Welcome back
He’s Back!
Your back!
You just made my day
The wait is over yooooo!

Yes! Our boy is back!

Kong 2 over 1 for music ? And kong 3 better then 1 overall? Idk about all that.
There is a ther-ape-ist.
👏👏👏👏
Why aren't you more popular?
Your problem is you don’t roll jump
I'm guessing you were a sega kid at the time.

@@WadeSilver Grandia 2 and the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2: The Great Escape are among some of the best recommendations to get.
