I couldnt do it. An intelligent, well spoken, Respectful, Seasoned man. Just because hes a little older doesnt mean jack, hes a good cop. Thats all that matters
Spoiler, the old man retired on his own accord, the reason he did it in the first place is because he is dating the old man's daughter a lifeguard, his daughter told tim to get him to retire because of his age and health.
Some of these old dogs you just can’t get to retire. They feel like they need the job as much as they want the job. Close to someone myself actually who is approaching the time spent in our line of work required to retire, most take it. But he wants to drag it out just a bit longer. He’s a good man and sometimes I just wish he’d retire, it’s hard to see someone who can’t see they no longer need the career to matter as a person, to have value, and it’s even harder to convince them otherwise.
Say what you will about Donald Trump, but he told an excellent story about this, guy who was at the top and getting up there in age. He chose to retire, the company went down hill, and so did his health, he tried to get back in later and couldn't save his life's work. Because the retirement period had slowed him down, and 2-3 years later he died, according to Trump the man when he retire was hearty and healthy. But stopping is what killed him. Some people just need a purpose and retirement isn't it. Another example is the movie the intern with de Niro and Hathaway.
@@JK97338 yup thats it. Uncle was a cop for 30 years. In that department, you couldn't go higher than a sergeant without first being a detective. Lotta guys didn't want to do that.

I couldnt do it. An intelligent, well spoken, Respectful, Seasoned man. Just because hes a little older doesnt mean jack, hes a good cop. Thats all that matters
There are no good cops.
Forced retirement ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Plus he looks twice as fit as half the cops half his age in my town 😂
Yeah and his in the kit dept why would ypu fire him?
@@burlyheads in context Jerry's daughter asked bradford to convince him to retire due to age and health reasons.
Jerry is gonna be buying new equipment for the job at the end of the day, doesn't seem like the retirement type lol
Spoiler, the old man retired on his own accord, the reason he did it in the first place is because he is dating the old man's daughter a lifeguard, his daughter told tim to get him to retire because of his age and health.
The daughter then leaves Officer Bradford because he gets seriously injured on the job and wants him to retire too and he refuses
They didn't date until after
There some men you just keep around, if they are still good at their job, there is no reason to lose them.
Mumford was SWAT Legend
Sargent Grey laughing at the end was so 😂
Jerry is a goat
Each service stripe on his arm represents 4 years of service, he’s been on the force for 32 years.
Each stripe represents 5 years of service, therefore a total of 40 years.
@@Trollingainteasy187 He was probably confused with military service stripes. Each stripe is 4 years in the military.

And Jerry also solves an ages long mystery
Tim and jerry are goats
He went from SWAT to Retirement to Kit duty
When you go to break up with the girl, but she uses some sad eyes and lifts her shirt.....
Jerry was such a nice guy. I'm quite disappointed that he didn't get more screen time
Even Tim buckles to the old guard
One of my favorite episodes
He indeed did NOT buy a boat.
Ayo this old man glazing for real
Hash marks from elbow to wrist.
Tim's a softie at the end of the day

A lot of people don’t want to promote.

Not everyone is meant for bigger and better things.
