I don't know if bison would respect a horse. I've watched some channel videos of people trying to control bison by horse and the bison tend to charge at the horses a lot.
Hoss is so funny at times the way he jumps around like Dunbar! Lol. I know he can be a pain in the butt slso! He's still so cute with his antics just like Dear Ole Dad! Lmbo. Thanks Dusty n Brooks! She's just adorable! 🙏❤
Your confidence level has really grown over the last 2-3 years. I am so glad you had been working with that young filly, she's going to make a nice ranch mount and partner for you. Brooks is so awesome around the animals.
Hoss is really testing the limits today ! He’s showing off ! You’re getting your exercise today …. Don’t think you will be lazy about latching the gate next time 😊Love watching everything you do with the bison ! Can’t wait to see more of Cora!
Wendy Perrins Good exercise for you today Dusty. They really keep you on your toes. This is a good reason that you need a cutting horse to help you control your herd. I’m glad you told everyone not to get that close to bison in the wild. Great video Dusty.
What a great way to start my day! Loved watching you get all the bison away from the feeder & into the other pasture. Well, except Hoss. What a rebel LOL Had to laugh about you running back & forth. Smart to get the cubes out. Looking foward to your next video. Thank you Dusty.
They could have hurt you, but instead they try to figure out what you want them to do. And of course they want to be where the food is. Hoss knows that you are the boss 😎
@1CrossTimberBison CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'RE A MORON & A FAKE. YOU JUST WANT TO TAKE PEOPLE'S MONEY BECAUSE YOU'RE A DISGUSTING LITTLE PERSON WHO HAS ZERO AFFILIATION WITH CROSS TIMBERS BISON.
I respect the level of trust built between you and the bison. I got interested because my grandson just started to work at the Wildlife Center in Noble. He’s from Pennsylvania and loves his job at the center. We sure miss him. I’m his grandma.
Great video Dusty! You done a excellent job with the Bison. Hoss is so funny. Cora is such a beautiful horse. I love seeing Brooks on the channel! She is adorable and a good helper. Much love to you, your family and all the animals! God Bless! 🙏❤️✝️🥰🤗💖😘💗
Bet it will be awhile before you forget to latch the gate correctly. Notice I didn't say never. We both know it will happen again. LOL Good workout and Hoss is feeling his oats.
I came back in time to see what you're working with for second barn. It really is a great idea to get it gated, shoot, temp controlled room, and supplied up for medical emergencies. Maybe keep the milk replacement or colostrum on hand in both barns. I'm so sorry for your loss. HOSS reminds me of a young Dunny =funny Dunbar, I call him. Such a character. But they're all so wonderful. I have a new fav every episode, lol
I love all things Bison. I found this channel recently and love it! ❤ I got started about 10 years ago when my aunt got a 49" HD TV. We were scrolling channels and came across the Yellowstone Bison grazing. We watched them eat grass for 3 hrs mesmerized. I still can't believe I did that. But what a majestic animal.
Well that’s one way of getting some cardio exercise. Ya the truck and cubes did the trick! Hoss is a real hoot! Love that guy. Typical young kid giving you a run for your money! 😂 Brooks is so darn cute, collecting her eggs.
Dusty I’ve been watching your channel since you began it and I’m always going to be a fan of your Bison channel. You always make me laugh every time and Hoss is a crack up. I’ve been calling my grandkids some of the names you use on the bison and they crack up and ask where I learned them so I showed them a few of your videos and they are hooked on them. They are Teenagers and we’re impressed by your bravery with Hoss and the girls.
It’s funny to watch them try to "listen to you"; as most of them get to the gate, they stop and they look back up in your face, to see whether it’s OK or not to go through. But of course they’re always has to be one. That’s Murphy’s Law; and Hoss is your boy. Since I binged watched the videos and watched you all grow; I can see the respect Dunbar and Joe [as well as the rest] has for you. I wonder once Hoss is a grown "man" if he won’t respect you the most ? 😁. Once you get your breath back, go back and just watch their heads move at your face and your utterances. You probably could give them names of the kids in school that you taught. Hahahahahaha
Hoss is an instigator just like #54---wonder what words they exchanged to create some chaos! The bison personalities are hilarious---GOD's creations are such a blessing. That is all they were waiting for, TREATS!
Oh my I was really in Puns and Needles for u trying to get them inside to where they needed to be. Great job in being alone to do this Dusty, and thank u for being extra careful. Brooks getting to be a Big Girl now and helping with the Chores, so Cute. Glad Everything worked out, and thank u for sharing!
Brook's gather eggs so carefully is cute. She is growing so much. Too bad Mia was not helping run the bison with you. She does a good job helping. Hoss is getting big and feeling his oats a lot recently.
Great job Dusty. Sometimes one person can do it easier. It has to do with just what you said, they know you. Multiple people usually mean fear and confrontation. Something they'd rather avoid. Hoss is going to be a pain until he reaches his mature big bull size, hopefully. The herd looks great, weight and hydes held up over the winter. You are truly inspirational for all new breeders. You and your family are the best.
Are you sure Boss isn't closely related to Dunbar? Haha! He thinks he is in charge! He is very smart! 🐂 You had a lot of mud to run around in while chasing the Boss herd. You definitely don't need to go to a gym😀
What an awesome video! That wore me out watching you runnin round! I was thinkin the same thing about you being able to ride Cora. Maybe when she is broke, someday. That will look so cool! Hoss is somethin else! He is startin to try and flex his muscles! LOL! Those eggs look so HUGE in the Brooke's hand! LOL! She is getting so big! God bless.😊❤️
Ohh boy how cute and precious that was when you got the bag of food. rattling it sure got there attention they come running like a bunch of puppy 🐶 dogs.
Makes one appreciate the value of a good cutting horse. You got your day's workout. More power to ya. Food works with kids too, as long as it is their favorite. Great job. Love your channel.
Dusty my hubby used to bridge imspection in Yellowstone, he was advised to flag them, with what I was suggesting. It worked a trick! Those animals are very unpredictable and dangerous. He would shoo them off a bridge he had to be on, or he would wait till after them were using the bridge for travel. These animals are worthy of any bit of knowledge we can gather about them, they are pretty special. Thank you for listening!
Great job! You may consider investing in two way lockable livestock gate latch for farms. Hoss is clever in addition he won’t be able to figure out the gate latch. Keep on ranching!
Dusty is a natural gifted storyteller. This channel has it all ~ information, entertainment, and the ability to pull you right into the action right along with Dusty! The unique quality in Cross Timber videos is Dusty's bodacious wry sense of humor. We get an education and while we learn we are entertained! This Bison Dad has the most easy going attitude and "just gets on with it" without unnecessary drama. I always finish the video a little more lighthearted. And the comical Big Joe showing off his swagger and extremely high opinion of himself always puts a laugh in my day! If Big Joe could talk, we'd probably overhear him say "Go grab me a beer Hon"!! And as to your family's Christian faith you live in such a way that brings so many to the saving grace of Jesus! Your daily life preaches the gospel life without saying a word! ✨✨May God richly protect and bless your precious family, " the work of your hands", and your heartwarming contribution of joy and love in a sadly troubled world!✨✨
They're certainly keeping you fit Dusty! Young Hoss is a little hooligan...lol. They are very determined when it comes to being near the feeder, but easily bribed with cubes. Take care Dusty xx
In my younger years I have done my share of running as we have always had cattle. They have their on mine and do not like change. I did laugh trying to tell you get the cubes. Now I just enjoy your Bison so much brings back so many good memories. Thank you
Bison are smart.. they watch you and see how you are locking gates..Hoss is smart. This is when the horse could be used, cutting out bison, I wonder? Yes, great to see the green showing, and they do too. Dusty, this is so dangerous looking. You are brave, I guess, to move them this way, but it leaves you too open. Gee! Whew, finally, get the candy to persuade them.. they were hungry, Dutch! I knew Hoss …he is the difficult teenager! 😃
Good job cutting the most of them Dusty .. they know you want them to go somewhere ! And they definitely know the shake of the cube bag !! Hoss is just showing off for his girls .. lol and love seeing Brooks with her eggs !
Glad you’re all safe. I’ve been watching weather for cast. We in Minnesota got dumped with 9 plus inches of snow but I did see severe weather in your neck of the woods. Awesome video today & Hoss. What a bull. 😂
Surprising that they respond so well. They obviously know what you want them to do. Bless them😁 Hoss is an unruly child. He seems always to do mischief.
They are just like children. They must have a reward.
I've never seen ranching done without horses and after watching you this year all around using vehicles makes sense!!
I don't know if bison would respect a horse. I've watched some channel videos of people trying to control bison by horse and the bison tend to charge at the horses a lot.
Hoss was bored and wanted to mix things up. Terrible twos came early.😱🤣🤣🤣
That's a good one 😅😅😅😅
Hoss behaves like a young Dunbar with all his shenanigans 🤣 Dusty, mind them, fences, and lock the gates before Hoss throws another house 🥳 teenager's
Boy did you get a workout. That Hoss is something else.
Brooks look so sweet collecting the eggs.
It was actually fun to watch! Hoss is such a stinker.
That bag got them running. Oh my! So funny!
Dusty, you need a storm shelter at the ranch. Hoss reminds me of Dunbar... lol
Dag'on Dusty I was getting frustrated for ya lol , Hoss is a big beautiful turd .
God Bless y'all 💯 ❤ 🙏
"Jackwagon" LOL love it!! The respect is definately mutual. Great job!!
Good job. It looks like Hoss is well on the way of establishing himself as a genuine Cross Timbers personality. Thanks.
Never a dull moment...cubes to the rescue.
Hoss is learning and he will remember.
Hoss is so funny at times the way he jumps around like Dunbar! Lol. I know he can be a pain in the butt slso! He's still so cute with his antics just like Dear Ole Dad! Lmbo. Thanks Dusty n Brooks! She's just adorable! 🙏❤
Hoss really loves to test you and see what he can get away with.
Your confidence level has really grown over the last 2-3 years. I am so glad you had been working with that young filly, she's going to make a nice ranch mount and partner for you. Brooks is so awesome around the animals.
Brooks has grown so much. She enjoys getting the eggs. Hoss was giving you a hard time. Maybe he was trying to impress the ladies. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
It is amazing how the paddle is such a strong instrument for moving the bison around. Be careful, Dusty! Blessings!
I love watching these shows. You are doing an amazing job with them! Signed, A new fan of Cross Timbers Ranch
I bet that was very entertaining for Cora watching you chase the bison around. Lol
Haha
Right!!!
@@bethanyhin718 can’t imagine what she was thinking.
Haha
I never realized how smart bison were. And beautiful animals. Thank you for this stream.
You did great Dusty …. Man they’re like rebels today…. You can see how much you have worked with them , that’s evident …. Good job !!!
I think this is a big fun game for Hoss and you're getin' played Dusty. 🙂
...you have always shown respect to the Bison ...
No chance of you gaining weight! That Hoss is a character.
Hoss is really testing the limits today ! He’s showing off ! You’re getting your exercise today …. Don’t think you will be lazy about latching the gate next time 😊Love watching everything you do with the bison ! Can’t wait to see more of Cora!
Wendy Perrins
Good exercise for you today Dusty.
They really keep you on your toes.
This is a good reason that you need a cutting horse to help you control your herd.
I’m glad you told everyone not to get that close to bison in the wild.
Great video Dusty.
You got a workout Dusty! Brooks is getting good at being a ranch hand. She is also getting so grown up, such a cutie 🥰.
Dusty, Hoss is trying to do everything to get more attention from you and the other bisons too. Thanks for sharing and have a bless weekend
Beautiful sunset. Your little girl not so little anymore. She has grown a lot. She so cute.
Hoss is giving your run for your money!
What a great way to start my day! Loved watching you get all the bison away from the feeder & into the other pasture. Well, except Hoss. What a rebel LOL Had to laugh about you running back & forth. Smart to get the cubes out. Looking foward to your next video. Thank you Dusty.
I've followed you for a while. I have to say this is the BEST video YET! ALL ONE HANDED!?? Wow! Hoss is funny. You know all your herds.
It's like the bison know what you want.
They could have hurt you, but instead they try to figure out what you want them to do. And of course they want to be where the food is. Hoss knows that you are the boss 😎
You certainly have bison with a sense of humor! 🦬✌️😹😹
@1CrossTimberBison CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'RE A MORON & A FAKE. YOU JUST WANT TO TAKE PEOPLE'S MONEY BECAUSE YOU'RE A DISGUSTING LITTLE PERSON WHO HAS ZERO AFFILIATION WITH CROSS TIMBERS BISON.

Amazing to see the pastures greening up so much; still very white up here.
Great video Dusty! You done a excellent job with the Bison. Hoss is so funny. Cora is such a beautiful horse. I love seeing Brooks on the channel! She is adorable and a good helper. Much love to you, your family and all the animals! God Bless! 🙏❤️✝️🥰🤗💖😘💗
I'm glad everyone's OK Hoss is something else lol 😆 Dusty you did a awesome job getting them together 🥰😊👍
Super video! You did a wonderful job getting back into their pasture. Be careful Dusty!!!
Bet it will be awhile before you forget to latch the gate correctly. Notice I didn't say never. We both know it will happen again. LOL Good workout and Hoss is feeling his oats.
This went from me laughing st their defiance to worrying about you! Great job!!!!!

Hoss reminds me of Dunbar when he was younger plus being a little more spunkier.
Man that takes some serious patience. Turd ( Hoss) is gonna be your trouble maker. 😂
Hoss is an instigator just like #54---wonder what words they exchanged to create some chaos! The bison personalities are hilarious---GOD's creations are such a blessing. That is all they were waiting for, TREATS!
Your bison are blessed to have you and your family Dusty 🦬💗🦬

Be safe, Dusty! They are very close, and with all that mud you might slip and fall. Remember your own safety PSAs!
They are like spoiled step childfen. To funny.
Hoss the rebel. Love your videos. Stay safe
Brook's gather eggs so carefully is cute. She is growing so much. Too bad Mia was not helping run the bison with you. She does a good job helping. Hoss is getting big and feeling his oats a lot recently.
They sure do give you a workout. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
You did a good job with that. Hoss is a rascal.

I love how you always end the video, sunsets, brooks & bison!!
Charlie deserves his own channel
Very impressive wrangling!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hoss doesn't want to wait till he's two. He wants to be a big bull now.
Are you sure Boss isn't closely related to Dunbar? Haha! He thinks he is in charge! He is very smart! 🐂 You had a lot of mud to run around in while chasing the Boss herd. You definitely don't need to go to a gym😀
He acts just like a young Dunbar for sure!
Beautiful tortoise kitty
That reminds me of me trying to herd my goats. The goats have their own minds and they are smart.
Dang Dusty when you called Hoss a turd you sounded just like Deeja.
Cubes saved the day!
I’m thinking Hoss with all that “ Piss & Vinegar “ will make a great bull to build your herd.
That paddle gives the bison a visual aide on what you want them to do
Funny they remind me of 10 to 16 year old kids . They try to push your buttons Dad. They are very smart. ❤
Thank you, Dusty, that made me laugh out loud. Quiet persistence paid off, well done. A bonus is your step count!
Glad everyone's ok after the storms Dusty! Hoss seems to be a little sneaky butt!! Although bison are smarter then we think obviously.
Thank you for sharing another great bison video!
Keep it brown!❤
they brought laughter to me.

When your bison look at you. They are thinking, what can I do. Not comprehending, what trouble they will get in, and CAUSE.😅😅😅😅
These little wipper snappers
Great job Dusty. Love watching your videos. I have learned a lot about bison and enjoy it.
Great job! You may consider investing in two way lockable livestock gate latch for farms.
Hoss is clever in addition he won’t be able to figure out the gate latch.
Keep on ranching!
You definitely got your exercise in today!

Young Hoss is a little hooligan...lol.
They are very determined when it comes to being near the feeder, but easily bribed with cubes. Take care Dusty xx
We can get sleet and snow in March and April too. I remember it snowed 2 ft at end of April in Leeds a good few years ago.
Enjoy your adventures!🦬🦬👍❤❤
In my younger years I have done my share of running as we have always had cattle. They have their on mine and do not like change. I did laugh trying to tell you get the cubes.
Now I just enjoy your Bison so much brings back so many good memories. Thank you
They all look like, "Are we in trouble?"
"I don't know. Just play innocent."
