I watched many yard transformation videos and I can say that you and your dad are the best as far as hard work is concerned from edging, picking grass cuttings, trimming shrubs, and small tree trimmings the two of you do it all. Be careful about telling people you do yards for free! That truck that stopped was wanting your card, but when you said you did that abandoned property for free, they immediately wanted you to do theirs and didn't offer to pay. They wanted you to do theirs for free too because they told you where it was. Again,blessings to you and your dad for how you work tirelessly to improve neighborhoods one yard at a time!
Yes for sure, we straight up tell them if its free or not!
I always worry also that someone try and take advantage of your kind heart. There’s such a difference in what you do for people and someone wanting you to do one because they just don’t want to pay for it to get done.
He’s right you can tell them what lawn mower service you are but I wouldn’t tell everyone it’s free unless it was the home owner. Need to know basis save yourself some headaches. I’ve seen on other sites where the lawn mowing service has gotten a blast of grief because they wouldn’t do theirs for free . Forewarned is forearmed

You guys are probably one of the best yard restorers on RUclips. Your work ethic is impeccable. Well done. There are other channels that cut overgrown yards, but many just leave the debris and clipping all over the property. You all clean it all up, and it shows with your outstanding after photos. I enjoy how the two of you take on all kinds of jobs and never leave until you are pleased with it. Mowing, trimming, edging, raking the list goes on how you leave the property it’s the best you can do. You don’t say “it’s good enough “ you complete the job. Many a day I watched my Daddy mow with a push mower, without a motor, in the Houston, Texas heat. I do remember he had a machete and a long handle sickle and a short handle sickle with a curved blade for hitting those weeds! I remember him sharpening them with a wet stone. Back then they didn't have riding mowers or zero turn mowers and he had almost a acre that he mowed. I remember when he got his first lawn mower with an engine and his first self propelled mower! Daddy was 89 when he went home. He would have kept on mowing with a push mower if age and health hadn't stopped him. Watching you mow that grass with a push mower brought back a lot of memories! Daddy's been gone 8 years, so thank you for bringing back those memories! ❤

You two do great things for these neighborhoods ,It's amazing to me that the rest of the neighborhood is so well kept with new Housing and condos and the neighbors couldn't have got together and taken care of this vacant house, the bank won't care until they foreclose on it then they will clean it up to sell it . Machete time in the back yard in the back yard it looks so good all of it .Whats really cool is at the end of the video listening to the song birds singing

Since the property went to the daughter after parents death, very likely no bank is involved.
Just looked it up on google maps when there was a car in the driveway and looking like someone lived there. It was an even bigger dump back then, trash strewn all over the porch and lawn very unkempt.
You guys did the neighborhood a huge favor!
You guys leave places looking like a golf course, you do such great work.

I always look forward to your video's, you do such a good job of it all. Now you know to have a spare belt for your mower in your truck. It will be needed the day you take the spare belt out of the truck and forget to put it back in. Don't break the little mower with the long grass.

It was something about the way your dad just whacked the bush with his machete, smoothly sheathed it, and went back to work. Leave the deck up halfway when you mow high grass like that and dirt and clumps of grass will cause the lawn mower to strain the belts and dulls the blades quick. Can get expensive really quick. Take care guys and if you ever need some advice on flowerbeds for residential projects let me know and I’ll gladly give you 40 yrs of knowledge. I was a manager of a nursery in Massachusetts for over twenty years and I landscaped the entire time.

That little house looks like it was the last holdout when developers came in to build whatever surrounds it. I'm guessing the developer will buy it, raze it, and build more of what surrounds it.
