AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take these other recommendations you made.

For Inferencing, not training. Comparison in theory to an Apple M3 or Samsung Exynos. Amazon is a great hyperscaler though.

Amazon acquired Annapurna Labs few years back, this company does all the in-house chip design.
In this economy, I never thought I'd see breaking news being Graviton4 being released lol. I had a chance to use gen1 with Databricks in 2022 and they were really performant. I'm sure it's gotten a lot better since then. Really good for cutting down big data costs if your underlying data model is solid.

Graviton4 is about on par with AMD Epyc CPU from 2 years ago! 96 cores? AMD Bergamo has 128 cores. & AMD Turin with 192 cores launches in September!

Intel and AMD make systems on a chip that are designed to exploit the options provided by the OS that do not apply to crunching the data that applies to AWS.

I wonder how many patents Amazon, and others making thier own chips are infringing on? Amazon and others are still buying massive amounts of Nvidia chips.
I believe they have many milestone to acchive and the day is not far when these machines will take over .

Wow was this badly reportedwith mixed jargonand wrong type. I know CNBC is the bottom of business reporting but this is another low level reporting. I would understand if it is NBC general segment but not a specialized channel. Even NBC is yhe top rated news reporting but will be understandable

Amazon will never be able to get ahead of Nvidia.. ai technology is being formatted specifically for cuda. Nvidia will have tons of proprietary data. Not holding Nvidia stock but I do buy their graphics cards

you still need CPUs, GPUs don't run on their own buddy. The ARM-based Graviton cpus will most likely be paired with NVDA GPUs as cloud based AI solution for many small customers (ie. hospitals who want to train their own healthcare data)
@@prval5989 my understanding is amd cards aren't good for ai due to lack of Cuda and that Cuda is proprietary. Feel free to fill in any gaps of my knowledge or shortcomings
