Our regulations in South Texas Laguna Madre for reds are 20" - 28" with 3 bag limit per day only and one oversized tagged per year unless you buy a second optional oversized tag. Our speckled trout went back to crap again...now it's 15"-20" and only 3 per day per person and ONE OVERSIZED per person and it has to be over 30" to keep. With gas prices these days, sometimes it's not even worth going out for 3 trout or 3 reds...but it beats being in the office!
If you’re fishing for meat you might wanna target a different species. Go keep all the catfish you want. When fried you can’t tell a difference between none of em
Thanks Todd for sharing, Always give us great info and quality editing, not like a lot of other vids. Some are pretty horrible, you have definitely got it down pat. Thanks again, have a blessed day
Buddy of mine sent me nice pic of fine meat haul from the bridges in E Lake P and the haul included fine croakers and white trout, specks, black drum did not see any reds in de mix.We have a decent game plan for the upcoming Jesuit Alumni Rodeo this Friday,Sat!
Love the marsh redfish catching. Nice video again. Thanks for sharing. Ps… curious your thoughts on the best time of the year for topwater redfish??? Thanks.
@@MarshManMasson Thanks a lot for the reply and thoughts. Going to try more topwater through the summer and fall. I’ve gone redfish crazy from the kayak after targeting trout for a while before. Great that we have so many options… including the sacalait, bream and bass! All the best ahead. Always enjoy your videos.
I guess that the small fish purists will have to do without their 16 inchers soon! Not that important to me. I haven't kept one near or over 27" for quite a while, but I have no problem with keeping up to 24". I think that small fish purists are a little extreme in their aristocratic taste, especially with trout (15 to 19" is great, IMO).

Nice, I do like when you announce the marina or boat launch
Me too, but so does the rest of the angling community. It’s probably good that he doesnt
In Florida, it's 18 - 27 and a bag limit of 2 per person per day.

Always awesome videos! I tried your last Redfish recipe with our weekend catch and we LOVED it! That sauce is crazy good.
Once again great video.
Fun trip. Do you ever go out in the summer for larger trout?
Occasionally, but I love marsh fishing.
Thanks
Let’s go Todd , you the man!!!
Nice redfish action!
Todd, I noticed that the summer time specks have some white worms in them. Do you eat those fish with worms?
Not that I am a fishing expert but the worms are called spaghetti worms. You can cut them out. The fish is perfectly fine to eat. 👍🇺🇸
I eat them without a second thought

Thanks.
I don’t target reds too often with topwaters, but they’re likely to hit them any time of year, other than, say, January and February

What body of water is this? Looks very much like the bay systems in Texas gulf coast.
Todd, what pedestal seat do have? Is it swivel-eze brand?
It was an option on my Avid 19XB.
Has a decision been made when the new 4 fish limit starts???
Not yet. Will let viewers know as soon as they announce
Question, do you think mega side or mega down is better for the Marsh I’m out usually out of Myrtle Grove. Thanks.
Definitely down. I seldom use the side. But I’m an electronics idiot
Was this in hopedale?
Can’t do a bait caster hell a spider wouldn’t want to live in nest I get in it
