Waiting to see if the new Acadia AT4 will offer better ride and handling over the Traverse Z71, before pulling the trigger. Do you know if the Z71 has acoustic windshield and double laminated front window glasses? I know the AT4 offers a package that includes acoustic windshield. Excellent review by the way. I love less talking and more driving😀
As far as I know, the GMC AT4 line and the Chevy Z71 line are nearly identical in purpose. The Chevy starts at $46,400, while the GMC starts at $51,395. It doesn't look like Chevy offers the acoustic glass on the Traverse. However, you can get it in a Tahoe or Suburban. Must be a GMC-only thing for the mid-size SUV for now. There is Active Noise Cancellation which you can get in the Traverse RS trim. That starts at $57,595 and has everything standard.
@@DailyDriversthere is active noise cancellation for the driveline standard on the traverse there is a second active noise cancellation for engine and road noise that is standard on the RS
@@DailyDriversThe AT4 comes standard with a 12-speaker bosey sound system and six-way power passenger seat standard Z71 doesn't offer a power passenger seat and a AT4 has standard both noise cancellation systems every trim of that Arcadia includes those features
Haven't worked up a lease yet on one of these but depending on finance rates and how long of term, you might be somewhere between 800 and 1,000 a month
I'd love to see a POV night drive too -- none on youtube yet.
Also Super Cruise drive at night
+1
Nice video, probably out of my current price range, but maybe will pick a used one up in a few years.
Awesome Video! Probably the only video currently that is purely driving the new traverse.
Thanks! Great video ❤
The paddle shifters are for using in the low gear only
How much further are you driving before you drive off-road??
As Jermey (from Top Gear) said “I wanna marry this road and have a baby” ❤😂

Commendable product knowledge!
Would it make a good tornado chase vehicle?
Lmao😂 Probaly not lmao. But who said you couldn’t try😏
Super Cruise works on two lane roads and two lane highways
It works on single lane already mapped backroads and country roads as well
@@shashankdegloorkar That's what I meant also
How you compare the ride with a Tahoe with air suspension. Air suspension is missing in this model.
They ride completely different. The Tahoe is quite a bit bigger. They both ride amazing but you can definitely tell the Tahoe feels bigger
Got it, I know Tahoe is big. But did air suspension make a difference or still we can go with Traverse.
What are lease or finance payments looking like?

@@DailyDriversThanks for the fast response. Enjoyed your video!
The 2.5 is indeed a smaller version of the 2.7
I was talking to a bunch of people earlier and that's what we pretty much all agreed on. Pretty much same engine with a few different things
A weaker version of
Love the design. But I question the longevity of the engine. We are after all, a throw away society now.
does every trim level have the ugly red trim on dash and doors?
@@h2p766 no, just the Z71 and RS trims have red trims scattered through the interior
Ok thank you… I’d just wrap it in black!
Man you hugging that center line on them county roads. Be cognitive about about that especially when oncoming traffic approaching.
Not with a 4 cylinder, too heavy for a 4 cylinder. GM just lost this customer.
@@whiz3528 outperforms the previous gen V6! More power, more torque, while still achieving good fuel economy!
I tow my 5000 lbs pontoon with the 2.7ho and its amazing.
Still feels way more powerful than the shit 5.3
