For the KLR it needs to be hand-tight due to so fragile that aluminum is made. If it says 9nm of torque set the wrench to 7nm or even 5nm. This is the worst aluminum used in a motorcycle ever. I never had these issues with Yamaha or Suzuki.
I have a question I have a 03 cbr 600rr that just recently started to click a lot on the front left side of the fairings, it only clicks when moving not when idling and when I break the clicking stops. I’m not too sure what it is.
Great advice. 🇬🇧👍
