Thanks @ItsBinhRepaired! Very detailed + accurate and I was able to follow along and replace both speakers. For other newbies, I had 3 problems putting everything back. 1. Reconnecting the wireless antenna was fussy. It took me about 10 minutes to get the feel and figure it out. 2. I was not able to fully reconnect keyboard cable. I took it to a local repair store and they connected it without charge in 5 minutes! 3. Initially, my external display (HDMI) was not recognized. I had to push the cable noted at the 34 min mark in further as it was not fully seated.
The best dissasembly manual, thank you bro! It is so cool when you show how to disconnect every kind of connector, cause other videos dont have it. Thanks a lot!

Brother!!!! I can’t thank you enough for being so thorough patient and detailed as you were on your video. Thank you so much you save me a lot of money today! Obviously 2014 design isn’t all that great as 2015 because we have to remove the entire motherboard out but it’s a great computer anyway. Fantastic video and great job.

I have this MacBook upgraded to Big Sur and it was working fine last year and then the left speaker went bad so I just used the right one but now that's gone bad also . and now the battery is shot. I have been using it plugged in with external speakers. So now it's a Laptop/Desktop LOL...I have watched your videos on both the Battery and the speakers and you make both tasks seem doable but i'm sure that's because of your expertise . I am old school , went to computer school for programming and building desktops which is easy compared to laptops.I'm confident I can do the Battery but the speakers are another story having to disassemble and reassemble everything and keep my fingers crossed . In your opinion do you think it would be worth it for me to let the Geek Squad handle it. I have no clue what they would charge but this Computer is fast and other than the problems I mentioned works great . Also the cost of a new comparable one is astronomical...
This is a very involved process to change a speaker. I have the exact computer and I have to change the left speaker, too. You had to basically disassemble the whole computer including detaching the mother board. Is all that necessary to change the left speaker? Is there a short cut with less steps? And if so, can you create a video for that? Thanks!
If you mean the one on the left when working on it not when listening to it, you still have to undo all the screws, but you can slightly lift the motherboard instead of taking it completely out, but it's tricky, so might as well remove it.
Great video, Q: I bought a used left speaker off of ebay. the guy claims it was a 2014 15" retina model but is only has 4 wires. My original has 6 wires. Is this 4 wire version compatible? I don't want to damage the motherboard by using it but is the 6 wire version for extra low end and hi end capability and/or added volume? The speakers on the 4 wire version are round and simpler. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It's not the 2014 2015 design. It's the 15" design. The 13" is easier for speakers.

Geek squad will just ship it off somewhere. Get don't give their techs that type of repair experience.

One quick query, which Loctite to use for laptop screws?
I used this, but you don't really need to amzn.to/43bZOm5
@@ItsBinhRepaired thanks will 243 do the job?

Should be fine. Not sure why some are like that. You can test it before installing it and removing the motherboard.
Ia it possible to replace my 2012 15" retina MacBook Pro 2.3 Ghz 16GB Logic Board to a 2.7 Ghz 32GB Logic Board?
If it's the same year and model MacBook it'll work.
Did the replacement but Wi-Fi is extremely slow….have checked connections, nothing broken or loose….speakers work great though… thoughts?
Did that happen only after disassembly, or is that what you were trying to fix?
