I have it and love it. There are obviously other fine options out there, but I really like it. Powerful, good vibration control. You can’t adjust the foot (but I never really do that anyway, I just use a different sized blade). It’s a beast with the big stacked lithium battery, but even with the normal 5ah it does a fine job.
This tool is outside my use case entirely but, it's impressive seeing how well the tool is able to stay in place 7:53 & 8:02 are significant moments imo; looking at the arms I have a feeling if it's something strong or repetitive one is going to wear your arm faster as you keep trying to have your forearm keep it in place without so much vibrating force against you.
I have a few 24v flex tools. They are well made and work well. I do have an issue with the batteries leaking. I have found a number of other people having the same problem. Flex seems to be good at replacing them, but it is hard to have confidence in the product if you never know when the batteries will fail. Plus, it is a pain cleaning up the mess.
It's only the first gen, non stacked lithium batteries that leak. I have 9 batteries in total. I've only had 1 first gen, 2.5ah battery leak but it still works. Flex let me keep it and sent me a new one without hesitation.
I've been through 2 saws now. I'm on my 3rd but it's just overheating and grease comes out so I'm blowing the seals, I'm a iron worker and demo, I use them hard. But have had no problems on replacement. Plenty of power and the front weight is great for out stretch cuts.
i dont care about none of that, i own a single flex, the most powerful hand held hammer drill in the world with TURBO, this is more of the same what YOU SHOULD review is very different and for now UNIQUE in line circ saw... THAT is different.. if everyone is making the same style of whatever, who gives a crap, this is Murikuh!... ingenuity, innovation, bleeding edge techno stuff... level up!
Dewalt needs to update there sawzaw. Make a new 60v one with orbital and a vibration reducing counter weight inside like Flex , Metabo HPT ,and Makita. Increase the stroke length to 1.25 inches and speed at or more than 3000 strokes per minute as well. Add a speed dial with the variable speed trigger and an adjustable shoe. The top 2 saws ( Metabo HPT and Makita xgt 2nd generation) have all these features already come on dewalt. Flex is really pushing it but I think it's right behind the top 2 do to missing some of those features just my opinion.
sawzall? Whats a sawzaw? The Dewalt 54v saw cuts harder than any in the industry, maybe they could cut down on the vibration, all this other stuff is just gimmicks.
Yes TRZ video on a Tuesday. I love seeing tools on Tuesdays. Do you use the tip of that deablo blade in your tool this Tuesday? I think you should use the whole blade, including the Tip of the Tool this Tuesday. Tacos?
Great review like always .... noticed you where flexing while using that saw... Your attention to detail is spot on unlike other channels out there 👍👊✌️😂
Purchased this item on the weekend and by Tuesday it split in half…. I was enjoying the saw until it’s breaking point but hopefully there lifetime warranty lives up if I can’treturn to the place of purchase
Smeeshed the `Like` button for that nass-like review of that nass-like recip. :) I think the most important thing for us as consumers is that we have these companies continually competing and working to bring us better quality and more capable tools at competitive prices. As the saying goes: "competition breeds excellence".
Don’t. I am a demolition contractor, my crews, all use Milwaukee. Last year I bought a flex sawzall and a bunch of batteries. I am not impressed with flex. The batteries fall off under heavy vibration, the current power isn’t as impressive as Milwaukee and I’ve had too blades loose pop off. I watched a bunch of RUclips reviews and did the research, I thought Flex was what’s next- turns out Milwaukee is still king.
@@ToolReviewZoneHow do I benefit from spreading fake news? I have two 6amp hour sacked lithium batteries. I was cutting two mobile home frames and they both popped off several times.
I do like what flex is doing but every flex tool I have used they are just so heavy compared to other brands and the batteries go dead so damn quick. I use other brands and can use a battery seems like 3 times as long. Maybe I got some bad batteries I don't know but every time I use a flex tool I. The real world it has always happened that way.
As much as I love Flex power IMHO hands down the best, and enjoyed this video, you are too funny and talented to limit yourself to power tools. Don’t get me wrong power tools are my favorite subject. But I wish you would do political comedy because you are the funniest man in the world … in a good way . Belt and boxes dude might be as Funny as you tho but way more entertaining than any “pro”

You can adjust the foot, there is a round button on the bottom of the tool on the foot end just push it in and pull or push the foot 👍
That’s funny. I own the damn thing and didn’t realize. Thanks!

I bought that flex recip saw because of its orbital cutting. its the best sawzall ive ever had and ive had them all and got rid of the others
It's a bad ass tool that's for sure. Just bought one been using on projects to remodeling my house and it's a game solid tood no complaints.
Still like the 36v Makita i use. Heavy but really smooth and powerful. Great balance too.

Absolutely loved this video! Very informative and very funny! Keep up the great work Clint!

That Flex saw really sliced and diced that $87,000 piece of 6x6
🤣🤣🤣🤣 actually got it on Dale for 86k hahaha
I can't believe it easily beat the supersawzall. That's a very powerful tool snd Flex just flexed right it out of that competition.
any suggestions for cutting up a old cast iron letterpress? tool and blades.
Check out the new Diablo Amped metal blade. They are insane and will have that sliced and diced in no time
@@ToolReviewZone Can't begin to thank you enough for taking the time to answer my question. Best of luck with your channel. Again, Thank You

Man, I'm always smeeshin TRZ vids. Keep it up brotha.
Thanks for all the SMEEESHes Edward 👊👊👊
Since you went to the dark side with flex, how about a full on heel turn and bring some festool koolaid to the channel? 😂
That kool-aid is expensive 💰💰💰🤣👊
I just like the quick release from FLEX tools

100% agreed brother man Andrew 👊👊👊
The switch is for 3 shot burst to full auto 😉
The more I see this Flexing the more I’m thinking about getting rid of everything and getting Flexed

@@stablegenius365 that’s crazy cuz I’ve never had any of those problems and I’ve been using that thing almost everyday for almost a year
I'm all about feedback, but I also have a good nose for BS, and the battery falling out just set off my spidey senses.

I don't knw why but I just had an epiphany watching your intro skit.. You are Trey Parkers long lost brother 😂
When cutting metal, I prefer pushing forward into the shoe instead of punching down or accross.
Nice video could you do what ever tool you review use it next to milwaukee comparisons 👍
Another banger bud🫡
Impact nation in the house 👊👊👊😎
Best recip saw ever in my opinion an it’s cheaper than deWalts an Milwaukees top recips an better
More flex
Ok 👊
REMINDS me of the new KOBALT 2 speed Recip saw
Haven't tried it, ut now I want too 😎👊
I'm still hesitant cause this is a new company, how long will they last?? Hoe much are they anyway??
Man, I was able to see your testosterone levels rising just handlin that manly saw.....
I grew three new patches of back hair immediately after filming 😎👊
One with orbit mode seems like they don't have quick release look at super sawall
… we haven’t seen the evil twin when the diablo whip sound happens… coincidence? I think not!
It's all very suspicious Lincoln 🤣🤣🤣👊
My Milwaukee's way too heavy, I use the hacksaw most of the time...
You can cut a Chevy in 1/2 with that saw. But probably not a Ford.
Oh boy!! I lac that there saw….It’s real nas lac.👍🏻💪🏻 LOL
👊👊👊🤣

you make me laugh thank you

The only thing I dislike about flex is that it’s “too black”
Too easy to lose! We need more green incorporated in the next generation’s color scheme
Yeah reeel naas like
Drinking the Flex kool-aid now?
And its delicious
Smeeshed
Thanks for the SMEEESH peter!!!!!

My corded makita doesnt even have orbital adjustment.
