Extraordinary - at 71 - or any age. Truly devoted to his craft, with great authentic eccentricity British actors/performers are known for. Alice Cooper, be sure to again thank Arthur for the staging and makeup inspiration.
First saw The Crazy World of Arthur Brown in 1968 at The Rhodes Centre in Bishops Stortford. After the band had played a couple of instrumental tracks Arthur suddenly appeared from the back of the stage with a multi colour cloak and his arm outstretched with the fire helmet on - it was breathtaking, an image I'll never forget. Arthur, you are a true legend and a credit to British eccentricity.
He deserves so much more credit than he has ever received as an Originator of the theatrical stage shows. Not to mention Alice Cooper stole his show and Face Paint.
What a shitty generic guitar solo, completely wrong vibe for such a psychedelic song. Arthur Brown was on point though, reminds me of Daevid Allen performing in his 70's as well.

Alice Cooper didn't steal his show. He had already been developing a dark image around the same time.
@@TheJustPushPlay59 no, even Alice told there would be no Alice Cooper without Arthur Brown.
he also started the primal screams.
Arthur Brown still the man.
Incredible performance and voice for someone in his seventies!
HE IS BEYOND CRAZY. HE'S FREAKING INSANE. How many of us would put that on our heads
These are the kind of people I'd like to hang out with.

I read where Arthur's head did catch fire on stage a couple of times, "Oh no"
Zombie proofing ones' self by pre-cooking ones' own brain... awesomeness.
Reminds me of King Diamond
Didn't this guy hear what happened at the Great White show in Rhode Island? FIRE killed a lot of people.
+HumGuitar Not to be a pain in the ass, but it was Rhode Island, not New Jersey.
+2112bigd Thanks, I fixed it.
