I believe in every single person working on this project. Best of luck to each and everyone of you. Let's do this!
Our new release date is May 2018. Stay tuned! We unveiled a rough cut of a 1.30min scene at Colossalcon this year, and our audience was really impressed!
Literally the second I saw Link as a child i lost all words and my breath. I have always been a hardcore Zelda fan and to see this.... leaves me in utter awe but overall... I’m speechless.
I'm only 15, but for the past two years I've been thinking of an idea for a Zelda fan film, and I'm going to make it but don't have much experience. It has a very unique story, and I just wanted to say that this video is good stuff. It shows how much hard work goes into film making, and how stressful and time consuming it can be. I'll definitely be supporting this film. I shared it on Facebook, and with all the cast and crew of my film. I really hope this movie gets the attention it deserves.
Thank you, Logan. The shares and the well wishes really mean a lot. We're getting ready for round two and pinching what pennies we have left and hoping it's going to be enough. We wish you well in your film.
I was very skeptical, but that little scene at the end with young Link at the castle completely turned me around. It was a short scene, but very well executed, very cute, and a loving representation of the game. I'm looking forward to this.
Thank you! We know there will be skeptics and critics alike, but we've tried to capture the true essence of these games, and we only hope you guys stick with us! Glad that you liked the last scene. It's one of our favorites.
You guys are the greatest! Long have I awaited a The Legend of Zelda Fan Film of this glorious caliber! While I have indeed attempted to arrange my own, it would never have compared to what I have just witnessed! I wish you the greatest luck in accomplishing this feat, and I plead with you, never give up on it! Long live Zelda!!!
This brought me to tears. This has been something l always wanted to do. Creating films, recreating, fan films. This is just beautiful. l'll make sure to share this on my page.
So whats the status on the project? 2017 has come & gone and it still isn't here. Is it having a super long editing process or did nintendo shut it down? :'(

As a side note, you picked the most dark, washed-out green for his tunic, but his hair? Bright yellow. There's a bit a stylistic dissonance there. Also, if this film ends up well enough, do you think you might do Majora's Mask?
You've been busy. This looks amazing! Congratulations on having the courage and determination to follow your dreams and making your vision become a reality. So proud of you.

@@saraross8396 Looks like the wait is not gonna be much longer. Nintendo Representative Director and President: Shuntaro Furukawa announced they have Begun production of a Live-Action Zelda movie
As a writer/ director and a super fan girl of The legend of Zelda I'm super impressed with the way you set the teaser up. Very curious to see what package and how this film will turn out
We are in post production right now. Our director meets with the editor again this week, actually! But there's still a lot to do. Our new release is May 2018.
I'm curious if it is going to be an expanded version of Ocarina of Time's story or a brand new story that's takes elements from all the games, but either way will be awesome. Everything about this is amazing and they actually take notice of small details in the costumes and the settings which I really appreciate. Most fan made Zelda movies just mess up too many character designs and details for me to fully enjoy them. Whoever made those costumes is a genius.
Thank you, kindly. We knew that costumes and setting were key in this franchise and any film attempt needed to be as good as we could make. This was why we were postponed 1 year. Lack of funds. We're glad you like them! The costumes were specifically designed based on existing art of the characters from all the games they've been in and an added dose of realism. Saria, for instance, was altered because the sweatshirt turtleneck look didn't seem to fit a forest environment. Our story tells the tale of the alternate timeline in Ocarina of Time, the defeated hero timeline, which has never before been seen in any form (manga, game, fan creation) other than fan art. We had a variety of costumers on this film. We will pass on your kind remarks.
if this is set in the defeated hero timeline, does that mean Link dies and Ganondorf takes over? You don't have to answer if you feel it will be a spoiler but I'm not sure if that can be considered a spoiler. It seems spelled out by the description of the official zelda timeline.
+Knightmessanger In the Defeated Hero Timeline Link dies and Ganondorf gets the complete Triforce. However, the Seven Sages are able to regroup and build an army in order to defeat Ganon. They are successful and seal Ganon away in the dark world that he created. The Seven Sages most likely honor the Hero of Time's sacrifice by passing on his legend. It's a happy ending but a little more bitter-sweat than the traditional Ocarina of Time ending.
"Based on the Fallen Hero Timeline", huh? Interesting. Are you gonna take a jab at tying it into the other timelines (someone goes back in time to save Link or something), or just leave it as a "What if?" scenario?
*There should be a two years, ten fansite vote held over many aspects of what 'should be in a Zelda-movie! :.) Nintendo might not care or back for it- and so what!? JustFriendly thank you! We hope upon our release you'll count us as one of the good, top quality fan films. We understand your hesitation. There have been a few bad ones.
