- LG InstaView™ Door-in-Door Refrigerator with Craft Ice™
For Models: LRFVS3006S, LRFVS3006D, LRFVC2406S, LRFVC2406D
The Craft Ice™ icemaker needs time to produce the first batch and optimize the Craft Ice™ icemaking process. You may need to run through 2 or 3 batches of Craft Ice™ before the quality and consistency of the ice improve in clarity, size, and shape.

My neighbor a young man was able to make my 6 ice craft ice setting to work.Thank you.
Awesome idea…I make craft ice manually at home regularly ……… so want this. Refrigerator!
I just purchased this refrigerator, it took 11 days for the first 3 craft spheres to come out, not 48 hours. As shown in the video, they were not completely formed and were thrown out. It is now 3 weeks later and the ice maker has not dropped any more ice. LG sent a service technician and he reset it and said he would check back in 2 days. Really??? It really isn't worth it, wishing it was just a regular ice maker in the bottom now. 3 spheres of ice take up to 48 hours to produce, not a well thought out plan on our part.
Hi, Laura. I’m sorry to hear you've had this issue with your new refrigerator. I'd like to take a closer look at what happened. Could you please contact LG Customer Support by direct message via Twitter ( @LGUSSupport ) or Facebook Messenger ( facebook.com/LGUSA/ ) and provide the phone number associated with your account? Has the tech checked in with you since the repair? Thank you. ^TC
I agree with you 100%. I lost my brand new refrigerator exactly like this except it did not have a craft icemaker in it during the hurricane Ian Flood took every refrigerator and freezer out of my house. I hate this icemaker I literally hate it had I known that that is what came with it I never would have bought this refrigerator again. My last one did not have it and I loved it and I had a double icemaker, which fit our needs completely. LG needs to come up with a way to make a replacement for those of us who hate this icemaker.
Why don't people actually watch the video before they comment? This is pretty nice, I didn't know people had parties based on spherical ice though, but I can see the appeal especially if you put goodies inside of them.
People watched the video and find it not helpful. Instead of showing how pretty a damn ball of ice looks like they should instead show how to set up the ice maker from start to finish, what each button does.
I’ve had my fridge for about two weeks. It took a couple of days for the first batch of the craft ice to fall. I’m pretty happy with the purchase except the craft ice isn’t completely round. They have a dimple. For the price it should be completely round. I posted a video on my Channel and I show the dimple
i saw your vids, your comments are turned off tho. i think the dimples on the ice balls are really lame... but do they at least come out pretty clear? (and melt slowly? their real purpose)
@@Corkoth55 I had to change a stetting on the videos. In the LG promo video, the dimples are not there which is one of the reasons why I bought it. Yes they are pretty clear but I have a whole house water filter and the fridge has a filter. I don’t know if they would be as clear from just the fridge filter.
We have LG LRMDC2306S. During first month we’ve had 4 service visits for craft ice maker not working. Each service call reveals the water feed line to the ice maker is frozen solid although the freezer temp is set at +4F. We added two thermometers into the freezer that log temp and they both show 4F so temp sensor is good. Does the craft ice maker line have a heater/defrost? Latest tech wants to switch out water feed line but by this point we have zero confidence LG know how to build a fridge.
Craft ice maker worked for a couple months .now all we get is a slab of ice at the bottom of the tray. I have read a lot of people have the same problem there is a big Flaw it seems with this LG ice maker. I only bought this fridge because of the dual icemaker
Same problem
Same. Replaced 3 times in year one, now it is broke again.
I am having the same issue. And witbout the craft ice, the other ice maker doesn't make enough ice for me and my husband. And we don't generally use a lot of ice. Our Kenmore had no issues keeping up for 4 people. It took 18 years before that ice maker kept freezing up and I bought my LG.
How do you make the sphere ice come out
Yea better double and triple check they still put this in thefridge you are buying. They removed it on some models that previous had it but left the bin so it looks like they have it at the store.
It’s been 3 days since we got our new LG refrigerator and still no craft ice. Any ideas?
What about the mini craft cubes, how to get that to work?

I have this fridge. My craft ice balls have a large dimple the size of a dime on the top and bottom. Is this normal? Is there a fix? the ones shown in pictures look completly round.
Some of mines are round some have that dimple. Not sure if that dimple is from when the ice drops down into the bucket during impact?
@@The1Question"Mine" is plural already. Lose the 's' on the end. Should be, "Some of mine are round..."
Where does the craft ice drop? In the first drawer? There is an ice bucket in there
My LG Craft icemaker used to easily switch from 3 cube to 6 cube but today I just cannot get it to switch on, any ideas? please help.

Had my LG for 8 months and it will not make craft ice, even though my model is supposed to make craft ice. User manual is useless. Am I missing something in the programming to get craft ice to work? Even my wifi doesn’t work on a 2.5 gigahertz connection.
So sorry to hear about this! Unfortunately we do not have customer service on RUclips. Please reach out to our support team on FB or Twitter (LGUSSUPPORT). Thanks! ^Emma
My Craft Ice Maker broken down 3 times in the first year alone. It is a bad design and LG has not addressed it’s issues of getting stuck.
I have had my refrigerator for 2 months and the ice balls are not coming out anymore😡
I wanna be a baller...
chadj77 ahh just saw the commercial too lol
Ironic name. Crafts are made by hand.
Completely false and deceiving advertising... purposely placed so you don't see the divets. And the video has one, split second shot with it resting on the divet. More like little Death Stars...
Yea I just caught that. I wish there was a way to adjust how much water goes into forms. I know they don’t want to much because as water freezes it expands. But it should be a incremental switch that just let you add a little at a time. Love the fridge but for the price I was shooting for perfection.
