So my wife and I are buying our first home. My father in law works for Home Depot and saw a fridge marked down bc a scratch on the side. Bought it for $1k and put it in our garage for when we move into the new house. I’m sitting on the couch and remember seeing those baller commercials lol. I asked my wife what brand was our new fridge. She said LG and I ran into the garage to pull the freezer out and was like WTF! I ran into the house yelling we’re Ballers!! LOL
Hello! Thank you for your review! I am wondering what your review is of the instaview "mini door" I read some reviews that mentioned that the latch on the small door doesn't catch and makes it difficult to open the entire right door? 🤔
I've never had that problem. I just bought this fridge 2 months ago, and everything works great. I owned the same model in the home we moved from and had no issues.
I’ve been doing some research and lg has some issues with their compressors are just a few months of owning persons have complained about their fridges that have stopped cooling, has anyone experienced Any is issues?
I've been researching also. What I'm finding is that every fridge brand has issues of one kind or another - some are much worse. We are without a refrigerator and had to buy one. Today we purchased this exact LG model. Definitely going with the extra warranty.
@@kimperez7845I saw your post and saw it was 2 years old so I wanted to check to see if you have had any issues with the compressor or anything else. I'm looking at the LG refrigerators currently.
@@TedZarcone I’ve had no issues with my refrigerator!! We’ve had a lot of different fridges, and this one has been doing better than any of the others. Now, it could very well develop some issue next week or next month … but as of now, for us (3 adults) this refrigerator is doing great. And we have the counter depth one. Don’t know if that makes any difference. Ten years ago is when we first bought a counter depth fridge. We will never go back to a regular size!
2 questions. 1. does the ice maker on the door store ice in the chute? my current icemaker stores the ice that doesn't go into the cup in the chute. it then melts and spits it all over the floor, which makes me want to kick it every time it happens because i have wood floors that are not supposed to get wet. 2. does the ice ever get jammed in the chute? mine does all the time and then comes pouring out once the jam is cleared. something that also makes me want to kick the refrigerator. thanks for making this review. i am nervous about spending that much on a fridge so it's good to know you think it is worth it.
Good questions. No it doesn't store ice in the chute. I had the same problem with my old fridge. The ice doesn't jam in the chute but in the ice in the bin it will build up on one end which causes the fridge to think it's full. I go in every once in a while to move the ice around.
It only beeps if the door has been open for about a minute then stops after a couple seconds. It will repeat until the door is closed, The app will not notified you the doors are open.
i hate the fit the drawers doesnt open all the way and the doors dont either .and the handles are the bottom of the drawers over all I think this refrig sucks
Purchased a refrigerator 3 years ago and like a lot of people who were part of the class action lawsuit our refrigerator stopped working. 3 years? That is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot and will not ever recommend LG products. Oh and if they even cover the food loss which they probably wont they will offer you a fraction of what you lost and call it a customer "courtesy". What a joke

Where did you get the tongs?
Ikea for about 5 or 6 bucks.
I’m buying it just because you have the Bud Light in it. Lol. Thanks for the review man.
Thanks for the video quick question concerning the round balls of ice… once the bucket is full does the machine stop making more round balls of ice?
Yes. I’m not sure how it knows but it will stop dropping the ice.
In the back right above the filter is that a light that does not come on or not meant to turn on
Do you know how to remove the Easy Lift Bin in the door in door with window?
Hi, what model number is this LG fridge?
That's a lot of craft ice... how long did it take to get that much? I just got this and it seems slow keeping up with our ice consumption

Yes, you can change the temperature for the fridge and the freezer from the front panel and from the app.
Great review!

That is for people that like to switch their fridge at the same rate they switch cell phones.
